"Pouring Ribbons, East Village by Champions. If you want a really good cocktail come here. The cocktail menu lists drinks on an x-y axis of how refreshing-spiritious or comforting-adventurous they are. The atmosphere is loungey and has somewhat of a tiki-inspired feel. There isn’t much of a food menu but the main focus here again is the cocktail. Overall, good music and drinks with a speakeasy feel."

"This cocktail bar provides a useful scale for its drinks, rating them on a spectrum of refreshing to spiritous, as well as one from comforting to adventurous. The “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” which ranks high for spiritous and adventurous, combines three kinds of gin, contratto bianco, cranberry liqueur, and yellow chartreuse. Colorful drinks are served in a den-esque space with lots of wood." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya, Serena Dai

"Perched on the second floor of an unassuming space on Avenue B, Pouring Ribbons serves up some of the city’s most interesting cocktails without the snobbish, fussy attitude usually involved with craft mixology. Cheekily named options rotate often and are themed to topics such as reality TV. The topnotch creations — ranked on ascale from refreshing to spiritous and comforting to adventurous — are served in remarkably varied glassware and trimmed with elaborate, often unexpected garnishes. Snacks allow for grazing, but drinks are the priority here." - Alexandra Ilyashov

Google
Pouring Ribbons has quickly become a favorite cocktail bar. It lacks the pretentious air that so many cocktail dens exude these days, even if it's not their intention. The drinks are well made and their menu is nicely set up to help guide you on your drinking journey. The service is impeccable. Will easily make this a constant part of my cocktail bar rotation and one I will recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

Google
Pouring Ribbons has an excellent cocktail selection for those that love a well made cocktail. Really into their fun graphics on their cocktail menu. Monday Night Raw is one of the best I've had. It consists of Pueblo Viejo Reposado Tequila, grapefruit, Laird's 7.5 year Apple Brandy, pomegranate, chilies. They also have a pretty decent Chartreuse collection, if that's your thing. Try a classic Chartreuse swizzle on a warm summer day or anytime.

Wow, Pouring Ribbons was the coolest bar we went to for the weekend. It is a chill place to have great conversations and enjoy good drinks! Their menu for drinks changes about every 5 weeks, they develope in house. It is on the second floor, not handicapped accessible. Just a cool vibe with not to many people and music not to loud.

Probably came a little early for this place to be at its peak (ie pre-dinner is empty there), but still friendly and knowledgeable staff and amazing cocktails. Well worth the visit.

Google
One of the best cocktail bar. Their menus were so unique and changes every season. All drinks were complex and artisanal. But most of all, very tasty. They have a very helpful taste chart to indicate if the drink was comforting, refreshing, adventurous or strong.

Wait staff was fine. Although, I think our waiter could’ve been a little more friendly. She looked like she was ready to go, and had that sorry not sorry attitude. The Host was very friendly and accommodating. She opened up a closed off section because my party was a group of 8. Unfortunately, the only area they had available was the bar, which wasn’t enough seats, so they opened up the closed off section. Everything was fine until close to closing. Our waiter told us it was last call, so we placed our drinks. We didn’t get them until about 1:55 to 2:00 and the check at 2:09. The bouncer comes up to us and says they’re closing soon, he’ll give us 10 mins. After explaining we just got the check and our drinks he kept say ‘I know but we have to close', meaning chug your drinks and go… Then 2:15 comes and he gets aggressive and tells us we need to go. Again, we told him we just got our drinks and the check. He didn’t care, he just wanted us out, and kept arguing back like we were in the wrong. That is very unprofessional. He didn’t care that it was the staff who brought our drinks and the check late. He didn’t want to hear it. If he wanted us out ASAP then the server shouldn’t have put in our drinks so late. Never again am I coming back!

Came across town but wasn’t allowed in with ID and a photo of my vaccine card. I keep the real one safe - not worth carrying it about just to get into a bar. Disappointing

Very interesting cocktails. The spot is way bigger then I thought. I will come back to try more things from their menu.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at 11 Tigers! The servers were incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The service was speedy, and the food came out much faster than expected. Their happy hour is also nice--definitely worth checking out! One thing to note: I'm not sure if there's an elevator, so if stairs might be an issue, I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm accessibility options.

Yelp
Very hidden entrance, the restaurant is located upstairs. We went on a weeknight and the place was empty, but I can see it being more a vibe on weekends, with its dark atmosphere and decor decked out in tigers. They have a Happy Hour before 7PM, but honestly, it's not much of a steal since it comes down to $12, a normal price elsewhere. However, you are paying for presentation, as each of the drinks were intricate. Taste wise though, they were just ok. My Tiger Killer tasted very watered down with only a pineapple distinction. We got the Black Panther Curry ($28), which was delicious, packed with flavor, too much flavor if I might add. Luckily, they had rice to balance it out. Although not enough rice! I loved the charred smokey flavor of the steak. Their Tom Yum Fried Rice ($34) was presented lit up on fire, but I'm not entirely sure what it did other than add flamboyance, as the food wasn't hot or anything. The rice was both slightly tart and spice, but again, not enough. The provided Thai sauce helped heighten the seafood taste. Keep in mind the giant prawn take up half of the pot. Love the food and interior with some extra attention on presentation. But the price feels very absurd for the portions. I get they didn't have many patrons that night, but the service also left no breathing room, and an uncomfortable unwelcomed feeling as a result.

Yelp
Food was good, pleasantly surprised at the dishes. The service was ok, the drinks took a long time to come.

Michelle Q.

Yelp
It was a surprised dinner and I had such a great time. There was a little bit of a wait time, but we didn't wait more than 20 min. They have some nice signature cocktails and great food selection. I highly recommend the tuna. It was perfect. Check this cute dinner speakeasy !

Vishnu G.

Yelp
A bit expensive, and probably more worth it for cocktails than for the food. I had the udon drunken noodles with mixed vegetables. The flavor was just alright, about on par with any other Thai restaurant on the city. The knockout tiger cocktail I had was a lot more interesting - a smoky drink with pandan flavor and subtle sweetness. The space has cool decor though, so makes for a nice spot to grab a drink.

Derek W.

Yelp
Great service, great food. While it's not the most traditional and more modern it's still super good. The decor was a lot of tigers so it matches their name and description. The food was good good. More saucy and savory with a mild sweetness to the dishes. The spicy dishes were not too spicy and good for the flavor. They get quite some people in here and the entrance also looks like an apartment building. The drinks are nice and mellow. Good mixes with for everybody's taste. Would come here again to get more. Yelp
Oyster is not fresh opened, probably used the caned oyster, you can see from the white shells, the shells are hundred percent recycled. I can already predict I'm gonna stay on toilet at least two hours tonight. Seafood rice is $45, come with a tiny bowl smaller than an adult's hand, tastes boring. Black panther curry is regular red curry, steak is good, that's where the two stars come from. Also it's my first time seeing restaurants using premade rice crackers. No service except adding water, no one told us where's the menu, they throw two drink menu on the table and left. You gotta look for the QR code somewhere on your table. Also the whole restaurant has a weird smoky smell. ----------------------- I edited the review 10hours after the meal, it's 5:30in the morning, and I'm still sitting on the toilet.

Yelp
A trendy, instagrammable spot, which always gives me pause on if the food leans gimmicky or is actually good. Overall verdict is that it's pretty good, but it's a high price for what it is. You're paying for the ambiance, the plating, the gold flakes, perhaps. We got the tuna zuke, tuna rice cracker, black panther curry, and a pink panther cocktail. The tuna zuke was solid. The tuna rice cracker was delicious (loved the flavors in the fish and the crunch of the cracker). The curry was pretty good. It came with (not that much) noodles and the steak on top wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. They do have reasonably timed happy hours with small plates, so if I return I'd aim to come during that time again.

Lily W.

Yelp
This restaurant has such a fun and unique concept of tigers. It definitely seems to be more of a trendy, instagrammable sort of place but it was worth trying out and I do think I would return for certain items. However, be ready to spend some money here. There is also a happy menu where some drinks and foods will be cheaper so I would recommend getting their drinks! I came with my friend and we got a few things - all of which we really enjoyed! We started with the Scallop Chin which was scallop with uni, caviar, and a gold leaf and this one bite was a bit expensive in my opinion ($16). When they present it, it is incased in smoke and it looked very pretty. Despite the price, it was really fun and I wished I could've eaten more. I got the Black Panther Curry and this was absolutely delicious! I definitely would come back just for this dish. I loved the creaminess of the curry and the coconut milk. The squid ink noodles went beyond my expectations and the ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. I really have no complaints about this dish. Even though I don't have a good spice tolerance, I asked for mild spiciness, and the spice actually made the dish taste better. My friend got their Tom Yum Ramen and I got to have a taste and I really like their broth. I do think that it's not really worth $26 however. The only meat in it as the Jumbo prawn which looks amazing but there wasn't much meat in it since there was only 1 prawn. Their drinks are quite fun as well! I went with the Pink Panther because I prefer my drinks sweet and fruity and I really liked this drink, I'd definitely get it again. My friend opted for their Bad Kitty on Fire which was very cool looking. They will sprinkle the cinnamon and torch it and you'll see a big flame. If you like mezcal and unique drinks, this may be the one for you. I hope to come back soon for their Black Panther Curry again! This place is really a gem and the servers were so kind and patient.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday night at 8pm (party of 4) my parents, brother and myself. The restaurant was almost full, and we had only booked our table about 45 mins before arriving so were lucky to get a table. The decor and vibe are cool, but the restaurant can be very loud. For birthdays they blast music that doesn't suit the rest of the vibe and we were having trouble having conversation or hearing our server, but thankfully the super loud music was only intermittent. We enjoyed some of their great custom cocktails some incredibly delicious dishes. As others noted, it's not traditional food, so I wasn't sure how it was going to taste, but almost everything we had was great. The tuna larb was incredible - this was our tables favorite of the night, so full of flavor. The black panther curry and the green duck curry were also great. We ordered a mango sticky rice to go which was also excellent. I had read a lot of people rave about the tuna rice crackers, but we all felt these were a miss and didn't bring much flavor. Overall the meal was excellent and I would return again.

Yelp
Came here for a group dinner. Was a bit of a walk from the subway station, but we were able to get reservations relatively easy. The dining room was covered in more traditional decor and lots of tigers, also some beautiful windows at the end. The happy hour times are also easier to make. Had the Pink Panther as my drink and it was very good. Between the four of us, we shared the gyoza, shumai, karage, takowasa, black panther curry, tiger udon, and wagyu don, and had some food leftover. Everything was good, though my favorites were the wagyu don and the shu mai. There was also a smokey dish with an amazing presentation that other tables were getting. Had a great dinner hear & would recommend it.

Yelp
While the doorway to 11 Tigers is unassuming and easily overlooked, the inside is lushly decorated with a dark ambiance. I got a table with some friends during happy hour and tried the Pink Panther drink. The happy hour cocktails are a good deal and most of them were pretty tasty! For appetizers, I got the Ikowasa and Tuna Zuke, which had a refreshing taste and fresh seafood, but I expected larger portion sizes for the price. The Black Panther curry looked on the smaller end too, but ended up being quite filling. This dish was very good; the beef was tender, the curry was flavorful with nice hints of coconut, and the noodles underneath were an interesting twist. For service, the service was a little slow and they messed up one of our appetizers. When we pointed it out, they quickly sent the dish back and got us the right one though. I saw a few other groups celebrating here and I think if you're looking for upscale Thai food, then this is a good spot. However, if you just want good Thai food, you probably can get a better deal elsewhere.

Yelp
This was a fun place to check out in the East Village. It is loud in here and can get busy--definitely a scene on the weekend. The food is a mix of small plates, entrees, and a few sushi options. It seems to be a combination of both Thai and Japanese flavors. I had the Soba noodle Pad Si Ew and enjoyed it. My friend had a few of the small plates. We enjoyed our food and cocktails. There are a few gimmicky drink and food items that either have smoke or are lit on fire...good for Instagram.

Sandar S.

Yelp
Thai and Japan fusion omakase. What a surprise!!!! You would have a chance to taste uni in lemongrass soup, scallop in gochujang sauce. Food and service are superb. Interior decoration could be improved. Omakase is at separate bar but they have speakeasy bar and restaurant attached so you can chill and relax, continue to order their other yummy food and drink.

Yelp
There's definitely more aesthetic going on here than anything else. True to its name, there's tigers everywhere and a wooden everything. We waited at the bar before being seated. I'd say this is more for the ambiance and drinks than the food for sure. There's an extensive list of cocktails and beverages. I came for dinner with a large party so that probably played into the experience, I couldn't really hear the waiter or my friends over the music. I personally didn't love my steak, it wasn't very tender but it definitely looked pretty. The curry dish with steak was better. Lobster ramen wasn't bad and the appetizers were decent as well! I would stick to going with a group of less than 6.

Robert M.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my love's birthday. They call this restaurant a speakeasy, but I wouldn't. The colorfully painted walls leading upstairs to the restaurant prepares you for an authentic Asian inspired ambiance. Once inside, you see more stunning artwork and tigers galore. We were a party of 13 and it was somewhat busy. Our drinks and appetizers came out a reasonable time, but the entrees took a while. My Udon meal was super spicy and flavorful. The dumplings were cooked well and crispy. I enjoyed my Tiger Killer drink. I plan on coming back for the food mainly.

Yingxin Y.

Yelp
I love the Black Panther Curry the most!!! This is really a delicious perfect curry! It's creamy, little spicy, perfect match with noodle or even white rice!!! Tom Yum Ramen I felt little salty, and the steak is too chewy. Their drinks are very good! Recommend Bad Kitty on Fire, which is their signature I guess. Many people order it. I also ordered a non-alcohol one. It's lemonade base, but not sour at all. Setting the fire caught all the eyeballs. People can obtain visionally and gustatory delights. Besides, they have really good atmosphere, it's a good place hang out with friends. Since it's not in a busy area, I can also find parking easily.

Yelp
When 11 Tigers first came onto the scene, this hidden LES spot was lauded by all the publications as a fun izakaya-meets-Thai eatery, with its tiger mural leading up to a cozy 2nd floor space. But visiting on a bit of a ghost town of a night, the hype didn't quite live up to my expectations. Still, the fusion fare was executed pretty well. I want to call out the unagi don, pad see ew made with soba noodles, and the 11 Tigers karaage, their signature. But none of it exactly rocked my world with innovation. The cocktails are where 11 Tigers really earns its stripes. The Bad Kitty on Fire was a mezcal yuzu lemonade drink they literally set on fire for a showstopper, and the Diger, a pandan drink they smoke to order. Most drinks skewed sweeter than I usually like but I liked the fanfare of it all and think this would be a great spot to bring out of town guests. Despite our server leaving on the job early, leaving us hanging for last call, I'll just chalk it up to it being kind of dead that night. I may not be roaring with praise exactly but 11 Tigers was still a great time.

Ryna D.

Yelp
I was staying at friends whose apartment is super close to this place so we came here for drinks and stayed for a meal. The cocktail menu is stellar. Very innovative and well made. The food was a little less inspired in my opinion. I say, come and have drinks but pick a different spot for your dinner.

Karina M.

Yelp
Truly such an amazing experience !!! The staff is exceptionally sweet!! They were so sweet and caring towards our order as well as us !! The food was amazing and so well priced !! I got the drunken noodles and omg it was mouth watering. The place is super cute and a perfect place for a date spot.

Carol S.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in NYC. Decor is fun and food and drink creations are unique. The oysters are big and they have happy hour specials until 7pm. Service is very good!

Folding Bike D.

Yelp
I recently visited East Wind Thai-Japanese Restaurant with friends, and the experience was fantastic! This restaurant perfectly combines Japanese and Thai flavors, with each dish offering its own unique highlights.

Ried S.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place - super cool speakeasy esque vibe, though not actually a speak easy. As the name suggests, the place is filled with tiger themed art - but like, high-end, not just kitschy. Great drinks menu for delicious cocktails - we had a few, certainly helps to be there during happy hour. Food was FANTASTIC, I dare say amazing. You must get the oysters which come in threes, are large, and bursting with flavor having added salmon eggs, scallion, and other sauces. Black Panther Curry is another must - I was miffed that it was being shared around the table, coming back to get a bowl for myself. Deliciously thick curry soup. Tuna tartare was excellent, as was their little salad appetizer. My second favorite was the Uni Pasta, even though I am not the biggest fan of uni, the chef does a great job with the complimenting sauce so that you aren't overwhelmed with uni flavor. My only hang up was the service which was often slow and required chasing down a waitress. Our original one seemed to preoccupy herself with other people, so we only saw her at the very beginning. Then the new waiter would spill water everywhere on the table, and on the food. Like dude, pick up the glass and pour individually. Could definitely use improvement here from a training perspective. Overall, I'd say it's worth coming here and I look forward to returning for the food. Fingers crossed service has improved.

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Cool speakeasy spot in the east village where you go upstairs and it's tiger themed. Drinks were good here and the popular one was the bad kitty on fire because they light it up and there's sparks. Food wise it's all tapas and they have some big dishes but but the tapas were definitely better. For the big dishes I recommend the crying tiger steak and the udon! For appetizers we got the fried oysters, squid tentacles, shishito pepper, karaage, and fish balls! We had a big party but I definitely feel like it's meant for smaller gatherings as it was tapas.

Bryan S.

Yelp
The flavors for this omakase were really unique compared to other spots. It was $75 for only 11 pieces, which was sort of ok only because it was different, but another few pieces would have been nice. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp head, but that's more of a personal preference. It was also the first time that I've had salt water eel, which I now know I'm not a fan of either, but I still enjoyed the omakase as a whole. I'd go back for their normal menu eventually.

Christine C.

Yelp
Although pricier than expected, I do like the new take to some of the foods that I am used to for nyc. Every dish I keep asking if this is more thai or more Japanese and depending on the dish, you will ask yourself this questions. I loved the textures. Personally pasta could be more al dente (but I also understand this is not an Italian place. I apologize in advance) I also think three of the top entrees are steak. I wish there was more variety, at least in the entrees main protein. I think the starters would Def be worth trying.

Ariel S.

Yelp
I can't say enough amazing things about this place. Every time I've come, the experience has been fun, exciting, invigorating and delish. The staff is always in good spirits and you can feel the energy from them radiate to the customers. Even though everyone sits apart, it feels like we've all come together for a party. Whether you come at 6pm for happy hour or 9pm for dinner and drinks, the place draws in a crowd. The cocktails are super exciting typically accompanied by a quick fire show or sparklers! I just love bringing out of town friends here too because it gives them a ra ra start to the night. Whether it's a date night or a group dinner you've got to check out 11 Tigers!

Jutamat K.

Yelp
Everything is wonderful here!!! I can't say enough amazing things about this place. 11 tigers experience me a lot of fun, exciting, invigorating and delish and cocktails. The staff is always in good spirits and you can feel the energy from them radiate to the customers. Even though everyone sits apart, it feels like we've all come together for a party. There is happy out everyday from 5:00pm -7:00pm. 12$ for a fun cocktails (Saturday,Sunday 4:00pm- 7:00pm) wow!!! The cocktails are super exciting typically accompanied by a quick fire show or sparklers! My night is super amazing! I love of everything here. Thank you 11tigers for creating amazing things that I can't imagine to have in the restaurant in NYC. Everyone please check this place out !! Even for a date night or a group dinner. 11 tigers is the best restaurant in town.

Yelp
The decor and ambiance is fun and a little overwhelming. I love the concept and some of the interesting dishes. The service was decent but not remarkable. I was really excited to try the food because of Instagram/ tik tok but I found that I didn't fully enjoy many of the dishes. Overall they were all okay but the consistency or flavor was not fully there for me.

Alex Z.

Yelp
Starting off the right thing, the FOOD. They are amazing. The menu isn't big but everything is very delicious. They have happy hour until 7pm, some appetizers are a little cheaper. My favorites are scallop chin, and stone grilled ribeye topped with uni. They have top 5 main, but literally it's just 5 of them. I tied four out of 5 the only one I think it's over priced is the wagyu steak, it only come with very small piece of wagyu. Take advantage of their happy hour for the oyster; they come with 3 in each order and they are huge and delicious only for $9 during happy hour. The service definitely needs improvement. The guy refilling water kept spilling water everywhere every time he came to refill, splash over the table and in the food, not once but every time. Our waitress who took our order was nowhere to be found after our first order, we had to find someone else when we wanted to order more. The service was very unpleasant. The whole place is super cute, dark tone and a lot of cute decor and mural, tiger toys and decor everywhere.

Yelp
Food: 5.5/10 - The overall impression on the food was decent though my expectations might have been a bit high. Let's dive into the disappointments. The tuna tartare, while not bad, could have used some improvements. The texture and presentation missed the mark for me and I felt cubes might have been better or an adjustment in the ratio of fish to cracker (or reduce the portion of cracker all together). The oysters were a tad too spicy-peppery, hitting the back of the throat, and I felt there was a bit too much salmon roe. Despite that, I appreciated the crunchy and varied textures of the oyster dish. The steak, unfortunately, leaned towards the bland side. I wished there was more seasoning used on the steak itself. The acidity in the sauce they provided with the steak didn't quite complement the beef. The yakisoba, on the other hand, delivered impactful flavors, though a bit more veggie proportion would have definitely elevated the rating. Drinks: 8.1/10 - The drinks were a highlight, especially during happy hour. However, the presentation fell short of expectations, not quite matching the menu images online or offline. The cocktails had a distinct Asian flair, which we enjoyed. Yet, the use of watermelon seeds in the leopard cocktail felt a bit impractical as a garnish and wished they used something easier to consume. Ambiance: 8.5/10 - The restaurant's entrance and stairwell added a unique touch. However, the row of stuffed animals and sculptures along the windowsills were a bit unsettling, even if the restaurant's name is "11 Tigers." Service: 3/10 - Despite arriving early when the place opened, the service experience was lacking. The servers seemed not as inattentive, making it hard to get their attention for orders, water refills, and even addressing a check mistake. One of the servers, in particular, didn't come across as friendly and gave off the vibe of not wanting to be there.

Eva L.

Yelp
The restaurant decor itself is loud and obnoxious. The music is blasting and we went on new years day so they were popping balloons while people were getting seated and ordering drinks. There was confetti everywhere and the staff was super nice. They were a bit late seating us as I believe they were still setting up. We opted for the $97, 14-course omakase with 2 sake pairings and dessert. Dessert was just mochi ice cream, nothing special. They two sake pairings we had were delicious. They are more sake cocktails, one was yuzu flavored and if memory serves me right, the other one might have been peach/floral. The omakase itself was unimpressive. It was flashy, showy and obnoxious but the flavors weren't quite memorable. I only remember the uni with tom yum broth and the oyster being very tasty. There were strong unique flavors. I believe you can order the oyster a la carte anyways.

Aleena G.

Yelp
I picked this spot out Saturday night to have a girls night. I can tell you that this is a little on the pricey side but definitely worth checking out with Asian tapas. It's kinda hidden and my girl friend and I were the only few inside. The food though was amazing. Yakisoba was packed with flavor, tuna rice rolls were soft yet crunchy with good quality tuna and the wagyu I had was so soft and literally melts in your mouth. We also got the pink panther cocktails that were just sweet enough, came with lychee but not superrrr sweet. Inside they played very good music suited well for the night and service was very sweet and accommodating to us. I would definitely come back here again for a good night starter. 10/10 :)

Jay C.

Yelp
Food: 6/10, good flavors but temperatures were inconsistent across the entire table of 12 despite ordering repeat dishes. Service: 2/10, abnormally long wait times-- roughly an hour between ordering and receiving the entrees. Servers did not distribute the correct orders to the right individual (i.e. medium rare vs. medium well steaks). Variable timing for when entrees were served, majority of the table received their orders and one person did not until the table was finished eating.

Joely T.

Yelp
Let's just say before my meal was even over, i was planning for the next time i'd be returning... that's how amazing of an experience my party had! The ambiance is awesome- loud music (but not too loud), tigers all around, and a "cool" loungey vibe surrounds the restaurant. The cocktails were all incredible, I referred the Tiger Smash. The appetizers were great- the Hoy Yai oysters are a must get. Other highlights were: fried rice, tuna tartar, scallop Ikura handroll, shumai. Can't write this review without mentioning the service. An incredibly rude customer approached our table trying to kick us out for her reservation while we still had full drinks! Patty (the amazing hostess) came in and apologized for the customer and even offered us to stay for another round of drinks and let us know we did not have to be in any rush as their management would accommodate the upcoming reservation. SHOUTOUT PATTY! All in all- 10/10 vibes, 10/10 drinks, and 8/10 food (still amazing!).

Katie C.

Yelp
Very mid- The restaurant is chaotic and the servers seem like they're in a frenzy. The food is also extremely over-priced. I ordered the wagyu steak fried rice - $33 and the serve came out with a heaping bowl of rice with 5 thinly sliced pieces of wagyu (could see through it cause it was so thin). Wouldn't recommend tbh.

Yelp
Came here a couple months back for the first time but they were so unorganized. We put our food order in but didn't get anything for at least half an hour and when we inquired, they told us they didn't have most of what we ordered. I looked at the table next to us who seemed to have gotten everything we wanted and the waitress said they got the last of the items. Super unprofessional especially if you're trying to promote your business. Anyway, I decided to give it another try because I did enjoy the atmosphere of the place. It gives speak easy vibes. This time, I came on a Wednesday night, 5 minutes before 7PM. The waitress was sweet enough to come over to tell us we can still order from the happy hour menu, which made our experience so much better. Cocktails were $12 each for HH. We both got the Pink Panther and it was so good! Not to mention, everything was so aesthetically made. My fave dish had to be the Hoy Yai, which are fresh oysters with ponzu, fried garlic and ikura. Delicious! We also got the tuna rice crackers - I would skip, nothing special. The scallop ikura handroll with gold flakes wasn't on the menu but I saw it on Yelp photos and asked for it - definitely pretty although I wish it had tasted as good as it looked. Lastly, we got the dish they are most known for on Tik Tok - the Black Panther curry with squid ink noodles and beef. It was packed with flavor and didn't disappoint!

Yelp
What a decor! There were definitely more than 11 tigers ornaments, decorations. Our party of three arrived a few minutes before happy hour ends at 7pm. Drinks were fantastic and strong. We ordered the knockout tiger and tiger killer. Knockout tiger is their version of an old fashion and tiger killer is their pina colada version. We ordered: Tuna rice cracker - 3* - Tuna lacking flavor Ceviche - 5* - burst with flavor and nice a spice kick Karaage - 3* - lacking crunch and flavor Crying tiger steak - 4* - slightly under seasoned Mentai - 4* - noodles are chewy and creamy Garlic noodles - 5* - love the flavors and chewy texture Would come back for drinks and the garlic noodles and ceviche!

Yelp
Fun spot in Alphabet City. *Tom Yum Prawn Ramen : pretty good to give it a try. *Tuna Larb : love the combination, it was really good but also I'm usually a Larb-lover. *Rib-Eye Steak : pretty good but the first two dishes were better. Cocktails were good. Would come back! They also have Happy Hour!

Yelp
This place is... a lot... obviously intentionally... it's all over the place, in a fun way, both visually in terms of design and on the palette in terms of food... The food is good, portions are decent, prices are reasonable...

Yelp
Did you know 11Tiger has a 14course omakase? I didn't before yesterday after I went for they'd 7pm reservation. Firstly the ambiance is everything tiger print and as someone that enjoy a good theme, I love it. This restaurant does a good job of tying together Japanese and Thai cuisine in a creative way. It was evident with their menu. The omakase was so good. You could taste the high quality of the fish, eel and wagyu the chef service. This was such a great experience . Not to mention the cocktails are amazing!

Yelp
The restaurant is located next to stuytown in East village. It is extremely hard to find this restaurant it is a small store front that eventually has a staircase that leads to the actual restaurant. The restaurant is pretty big and it seems like it would be more fun later in the night for it's bar as well. Service was great! Very friendly staff. As for the food... I would not recommend. It is extremely pretty and appetizing. However, the uni pasta was very soggy, maybe because it is made with ramen noodles rather than actual pasta noodles. The garlic fried rice was also not very flavorful and the rice grains were mushy. The tom yum was probably my favorite dish out of all 3. Hope this helps!

Yelp
I had their omakase recently and it is so good! This is not your typical omakase. It is a Thai style omakase. They offer $79 Omakase 11 course menus and $97 Omakase 14 course menus, including dessert and 2 sakes paring. It is amazing! I love the tiger in hot spring, it is an uni piece that is in this Thai style soup. You can get high quality and creative pieces at a reasonable price. I love the decoration as well. You can see tiger elements everywhere. The service is great. The only thing is we have to move around a bit. We were seated at a normal table before seating at the counter and had to move to a regular table for dessert. Overall, a good experience of a different type of omakase.

Yelp
My friend and I almost missed this place. The entrance is tiny like an entrance to a decrepit walk up apartment building except the walls are covered with tiger paintings. I could see why one would think it's a speakeasy. Once you ascend the stairs, you are welcomed into a warm dim rectangular space. Their unique cocktails were around 16 a glass. I liked my 2 mezcal based cocktails while my friend had the pink lychee one not once or twice but three times. The menu felt a little overwhelming. There seemed to be too many options that sounded very similar written in a tiny font. The online format is easier to read. We went with our waiters recommendations. The karrage tasted good with the sauce but it is NOTHING like karrage you would get at a Japanese place. It tasted more like fried chicken balls/nuggets than actual karrage. We got the hoy yai, which came with three raw oysters topped with ikura, fried onions and siracha. They were very good! A little spicier than I anticipated. For the entrees, the mentaiko cream udon was nothing really to write home about as I felt that it needed more flavor than cream while the short rib curry was bomb! BEWARE! When you split the bill, the tip box on the receipt calculates tip options for the whole bill and NOT the split bill. So be careful when you're tipping. It seems DECEITFUL that marking the 20 percent box is actually 40 percent.

Yelp
We celebrated a birthday here and the way they came out singing with someone in a tiger costume was so fun, we had a blast. The pad see ew was delicious and everyone was happy with the drinks. Had a nice ambiance with fun tiger-themed decor, seemed good for a date or group. They did forget to bring a drink I ordered but otherwise the service was good.

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my sister's birthday, and we had found this restaurant via Instagram. The decor was very nice and so was the ambience. The drink menu is what attracted us to this restaurant as well as the variety of food options and the prices. When we arrived, the restaurant was on the quieter side and ad it got later the restaurant got louder and more busy. The service overall was great only until the ending. We felt rushed and the waiters kept coming over and asking if we need the table to accommodate others waiting to be seated. Lastly, the food was flavorful and the drinks were creative and tasted good. A lot of them were sour but overall the party enjoyed themselves and didn't have too much complaints. I would come back here and it's a good place for a birthday dinner

Yelp
Came here after seeing a reel on instagram promoting it, and this place did not disappoint!! It was pretty empty when my friend and I got here on a Tuesday night, prime dinner time. We were seated right away and the table setting was so cute (little tiger to hold the chopsticks). We ordered the Pink Panther and the Leopard for cocktails, and the Pink Panther was so good that we ordered more throughout the night. The shishito peppers could have been seasoned a little more, but they were still a good balance while eating the other two dishes, the 11 Tigers Tom Yum Ramen and the Black Panther Curry. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Black Panther Curry as it was our favorite!! The flavors were so authentic and the steak was a great balance for the curry. We also enjoyed the 11 Tigers Tom Yum Ramen, but we loved the curry so much we started putting some of the ramen noddles into the curry to eat more of it!! Service was great, place was clean, and I would love to come back here and try their other dishes!

Yelp
1 star off is because these drinks be SMOL. they are small my friends. they are so yummy which hurts for them to be so small, they're gone in two sips. i forgot to savor it. and they are so pricey which lead me to think they might be bigger but silly me. aside from that the interior of this place is super unique and exciting to look at. i like the overall theme and the food i peeped from other people's tables looked great too. will come back to try the food one day so this review is just for the drinks.

Yelp
There really are a ton of tigers here, they really stuck with the them. It was a super fun vibe and a little hidden gem in the area. The food was so flavorful and I never had anything like it Juicy octopus 4/5 If you love the texture of octopus, this is the move. I thought it was a pretty good starter Black panther 5/5 I have never had a dish quite like it. The flavors were super unique and the spice was perfect. Both noodle dishes made me want to come again 11 Tigers ramen 5/5 Sooo good, the prawn was pretty but kinda hard to get the meat out of it. I got medium spice and it was a perfect spice level for me Would definitely go again! Perfect for a group too
