I come here when I need to pick up a special occasion dress or a nice gift for a 7and under child. They have a beautiful selection of dresses, shoes and accessories for both boys and girls. Their holiday stock is a little low, so I will come earlier next year as they carry some of my favorite European brands like La Coqueta. It's a small shop and can get busy, despite that service has always been great. Jenni has helped me a few times and offers things within my budget. Don't be shy and ask for help they know their stock.

I came into this store looking for an add on gift for a baby shower. It was a little more expensive than I had wanted to spend. The manager worked with my price point and offered suggestions as alternatives. She came up with a beautiful gift idea. She even wrapped it for me! I'm so glad I came in!

Yes, everything is pricey, but it is a super cute and unique kids shop. My kids both picked out new special lovies. I really loved that the whole "mart" was kid friendly. Even with the high end shops. Majority of the stores participate in a Where's Waldo game (through the bookstore) for the kids to search for and receive a stamp. There are a few kiddie rides outside the store as well as a toy shop - so it's a great one stop shop!

I passed by this store and thought it was cute(I have an 8 month old girl)! I yelped it and read a lot of negative comments about the staff. Well another day I got the chance to go inside and check it out and I did since I hoped I didn't have a bad experience like others on the comments. I was in that store for 5 mins max, the only employee that was there was so rude. I'm not even exaggerating. I don't know how this store is open when customers don't feel welcome at all and get uncalled for attitude.

I enjoy coming here to look at all the beautiful clothes. Some are more practical than others (sweaters, coats, shirts), but the dresses, oh my! they are gorgeous with all the tutu and taffeta! The salespeople are friendly. I've been teaching my daughter how to go up and ask for prices politely, and they have always answered her with the same friendly tone and never condescending or ignoring. I appreciate that they treat the little ones respectfully.

Fancy! Fancy! I love the selection of girls and boys clothing here, they were chosen well: They are made of very good quality, made well, designed well and very fashionable. Your little tyke just might come out more fashionable than you! The lady manning the store is super nice, super friendly, helpful, and had just the perfect amount of hovering: She chatted me up when as soon as she was free but left me alone after to peruse the store.

Cutest things (I always end up spending more than I planned to!) but truly, truly awful staff. I live nearby and I keep going back for gifts and for my own daughter but every time I leave with a bad taste in my mouth of the experience. The women who work there are petty and are particularly rude to women of color, which is disturbing. Starting to shop in other places instead.

fun and beautifully curated! I do not have kids but my friends do so I browse to see potential gifts. They have the most beautiful kids wardrobe but of course you pay for the style- couple girls' dresses I loved were like $160-$180 and I just gawked. I guess it is Brentwood so people can afford such prices for a soon-to-outgrow child? Anyways, I kept browsing through the store and finally picked up a cute cosmetic bag for myself. There were two ladies working (one young and other older) and the young lady was super sweet and helpful while the older one seemed disinterested in life. Overall a cool & tastefully curated shop; will return !

My husband, son and I came to Poppy Store today, and spent over 20 minutes outside waiting for an employee to let us in given their COVID policy... which was fine. After 20 minutes, a woman cut past us, and went in the store, where she was greeted and allowed to shop. We told the woman working that she had cut, and that we had been ignored, to which she shrugged off our comment and said we could enter once another client had finished shopping. Once we were in the store, no one asked us if they could help or if we needed anything in particular. We really felt like this was a customer service failure on a few counts. There are many high-end children's stores all over LA, and we will happily take our business elsewhere.

We've been here several times and have bought something each time but every time we left the store I felt so grossed out. The staff is so snobby and haughty it makes u want to pull a Pretty Woman on them and remind them that they're working there and not the customer. Seriously get over yourselves, especially the lady who is either the manager or owner... RUDE AND LACKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE As to the selection it's not bad but the PRICE IS OUTRAGEOUS... Seriously unless u have to buy something immediately I would definitely skip this store and its attitude

I love this Store. The selection of kids items is really nice. I can always find something I love. It's very hard to walk away without buying anything since they have items starting at a few dollars and up. Friendly staff. Best selection of adorable kids clothes and gift items.

Cute store. Unique brands you can't find elsewhere and great service. They were so nice to my little one who wanted to try everything! Definitely going back!

Worst return policy in town. I bought a pair of pants, told the sales girl I thought they looked small. Bought them anyway to try and in fact they were too small. Tried to return 24-hours later (to the same sales girl that sold them to me) and they do not have a larger size and will not refund my cc!!! I'm appalled.

This is such an adorable store! I love the Brentwood country mart and this is one is their gems. Great selection of children's gifts... Really unique stuff and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend! :)

Hate to write this review after such an amazing first visit. Really disappointed in my second visit. After bragging to a friend about my great experience, we stopped into the store to get a gift that she needed. The store still looked amazing so no complaints there, but the service was just not there. We felt like we had interrupted a high school girls room conversation about boys. Two young girls engaged in a personal complaint session and were not helpful at all. Almost seemed relieved when we and another woman left so they could get back to their conversation. Needless to say we didn't feel like buying anything, she went to the toy store to buy her gift. Just a bad vibe and such a shame for a lovely store. And the lovely woman Dawna who helped us before was not there. I think the owners should be concerned about two very different experiences on two different days.

I usually don't write reviews for clothing stores but just had to for Poppy. I am pregnant and close to my due date which we all know means I'm nesting so I like to stop in frequently and obsess over everything. Even though I take my sweet time and ask a million questions all the staff has been super patient, wonderful and sweet. Best selection of Kissy Kissy brand and a great dose of high end luxury you can't find elsewhere. The owner was super helpful when picking out sizes with me (so hard to know how many newborn onesies to buy!) I was interested in their cashmere and when they said they just got a shipment in, I was thrilled. I bought a sweater and a onesie. When I came back to exchange for larger sizes, the items had been initially sold and tagged at the wrong price but the manager honored those prices and did the exchange for me without hesitation. Thank you! I was so grateful that I did some more shopping- including another onesie and a Little Giraffe hooded towel (the softest ever - baby has 3 now!). Will definitely be back for another haul before baby comes. LOVE this store and will keep coming back as my son grows and needs more fancy preppy play clothes! Thanks Poppy! Xo
