Great spot for Japanese curry in the marais! Service was quick and staff were super nice. Loved the cosy atmosphere too. I had the fried pork curry and it was perfectly crispy, not dry at all. A decent sized portion as well. Perfect little break from shopping in the area!

I didn’t know I needed to have Japanese curry in Paris until I tried Pontochoux’ curry! Living in Asia, I can say that their curry is definitely special and worth the try (and the queue).

Curry was too salted, chicken panure was looking thick and overcooked and the meat itself not looking good either. More to that, their staff is not very friendly and one won’t feel very welcome there. Disappointed ☹️

Such an amazing and an exquisite taste. Most probably it’s the best curry i had in Paris. I’m so happy i tried this place. If you love curry, spices and a bit of a spicy taste this is the place to be. Very fulfilling and very tasty i highly recommend this place. Although it’s very cozy, so if you’re a group kind of be a bit difficult but still the curry is so gooddd.

For 17€ you get the smallest portion of curry with the smallest portion of rice humanity has seen. It's ridiculous that people line up for the tiniest portion of curry Paris has ever seen. The food is delicious, but I recommend going to a place that will serve you a human size meal

Reviewing the coffee shop only: Interesting pastries but somewhat small portions. I ordered a coffee castella (a kind of Japanese traditional sponge cake) but could not really feel the coffee taste (maybe because I was also having a cup of coffee on the side). The flat white was rich in flavor. I would come back!

Now this is good Japanese curry! Even though the portions are on the smaller side, it tastes much better and authentic than the other Japanese curry restaurant in the Marais.
