Playa de los Artistas

Best food in Costa Rica!! The menu has a good variety for all tastes. The fish was so fresh and our meals were creative and delicious. Presentation was top notch. Setting is heavenly and the staff were so friendly. Service was prompt. I would go back and eat here any day.

One of the highlights of our visit to Santa Teresa. RESERVATION RECOMMENDED The ATV mountain drive was exciting, but the late lunch at Playa de Las Artistas overwhelmed us with beach side tables, well shaded in tropical canopy. The atmosphere was upstaged by the daily menu. We enjoyed the Burrata, Beet Marinated Mahi Mahi as a light Red Pepper ceviche, Roasted Pork Belly over local White Corn, finished with Chocolate Pie layered with Pear on Flaky Shortbread crust. Even more refreshing was a more than reasonable tally at the end of our visit. The care, food imagination and organized service were excellent. Agradecido al Chef!

We are obsessed with this restaurant on the beach of Montezuma. It’s elevated Mediterranean with a unique interpretation and everything on the menu is delicious. We love the bruschetta, the blue cheese dip, tuna apps, beer pork ribs (our fave), and whole roasted chicken. Fantastic vibes

Every bite melts in your mouth. We had the pork rib and conker fish. Both meals were absolutely incredible. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. From the handwritten menu, I imagine the chef works with the freshest available ingredients they can find. It definitely reflects in the layered flavours that emerge as you chew every bite. Playa de los Artistas is also a great location to soak up the beach vibe. Tables under the trees and a scenic ocean view are a very welcome addition to food that I would still enjoy immensely if I were eating it in a hole in the ground. Highly recommended!

Outstanding food & nicest staff. The views of the beach are unbeatable. One of our best meals of our trip.

This place is amazing! The view, the food & the vibes. We had an incredible roasted chicken with veggies that was seasoned with rosemary and lemon. Completely delicious. As well as a bright and tasty ceviche. We finished with an espresso that was excellent. Everything hit the spot!

Excellent restaurant on the beach with beautiful views. Each plate is made to order straight out of the kitchen from the Chef. Our dishes were explained in detail on the preparation. Absolutely delicious!Tip: make a reservation and you will have the tables with the best view on the water front. But nonetheless all table views are fantastic. The service was superb as well.

I've been here now a few times & have to say hands down they have the best main dishes. Very fresh and creative. We especially enjoyed the octopus and seared tuna. The osso bucco was a bit of a disappointment, maybe it was on me but I believe they change their dishes weekly because when I saw somebody eating it previously it was on rice and looked a bit lighter & this was just too heavy for me. Unfortunately, the desserts are not great. We tried one of everything & I'd just skip it in general. But the octopus, cooked to perfection, and for that 5 stars :)
