"No pomp and circumstance, just New York pizza. Quick service. Open late. Fresh, hot, large and delicious slices. Plenty of napkins. Garlic, crushed red pepper, and other traditional spices always readily available. A neighborhood favorite, this shop has been around for a while. Pizza Palace offers a charming walk-through front window for quick orders and for those that need to sober up after having a little too much to drink. Not to be forgotten for those in less of a hurry, seating is also available. The staff is sweet, funny, and always willing to talk with you. If you're not in the mood for pizza, but still need something warm and tasty, try the pasta or sandwiches." - Jeanne Henry

"Every neighborhood has a great slice shop. For Inwood, that’s Pizza Palace. It’s a run-of-the-mill, cash-only pizza place, and both the triangle and Sicilian pies here are nearly perfect. We like the classic cheese and pepperoni slices best, but the Sicilian crust is practically invisible under a layer of melted mozzarella and that’s just how we like it." - Willa Moore, Nikko Duren, Matt Tervooren, The Curious Uptowner
