Pierogarnia Mandu Gdańsk Oliwa

We saw the restaurant online and it was also recommended by one of our Polish friends. We passed it a couple of times and it always had a queue in front, and one night we decided to go for it. Waited about 25 min. The staff was very nice, kept things organized and allowed ordering of drinks when waiting which was great for a warm summer evening. As for the food, it was excellent. One of the best pierogi we had during our 8 day stay in Poland. We were a bit afraid that this place might be a bit overhyped but that wasnt the case. We started off with some soups. I especially liked the cold beetroot borsch, it was extremely refreshing. The waiter recommended some side salads for tge pierogi (coleslaw and kimchi). They complemented perfectly the dishes! We love asian cuisine, so trying these reinterpretet fried pierogi with tofu, coriander and mango sauce simply hit the spot. We saw a great array of both vegeterian and vegan options, so definitely give it a try if you are on a plant-based diet. We really enjoyed dining here, and if we are ever back in Gdansk we will visit it once again! Keep up the great work!!

I am no expert in Polish cuisine, but after 2 weeks in Poland, this was the best meal we had. There are many options, something for everybody. We came back several times, for the food and the atmosphere. There was always a wainting time until seated, but it was worth it. A huge congrats to the staff. Even if it is always crowded, we never felt agitated. Everything is well organised and calm. Not to be missed, if ever in Gdansk area.

Such a great place. Don’t miss it BUT go when you have plenty of time. It takes a while. They have a nice corner for kids. The apple pie was delicious.

Very tasty pierogi! We tried pierogi z pieca z kurczakiem w sose BBQ and pierogi z pieca z kurczakiem i serem wędzonym, goudą i cheddarem z dodatkiem ziół. Pierogi z pieca are like pies, very large and juicy. A portion of 5 pieces is enough to feed you for half a day! We were there at 11:30 AM - there were already a lot of people, the wait for food took about 30 minutes. We sat inside - the interior is beautiful, not hot, but the music was loud. Of the minuses - we had to wait a very long time for the bill. I recommend this place!

Very cool pierogi restaurant. They made pierogi at an opened kitchen, you can see their work while eating. Many choices, even some not so traditional pierogi flavours. Quite interesting and tasty place.

Prepare yourself for a line on weekends but it is totally worth it. The selection is wide and interesting including the classics, the portions are huge, variety of condiments to choose from which is great. Ate with wild boar, carrots (surprising and super delish) and with blueberries - unbeatable classic. Great food, great service!

Saturday evening there were queue, and we decided to come back Sunday morning - this is perfect time to go there because not too busy! Staff is so friendly. Interior is pretty new, so clean and well decorated. Opened kitchen. Food was so good! We had soup and shared pierogi between 2 and it was more than enough! Because portions are big enough. Highly recommend this place, but make sure there is can be a queue (for a reason! Worth to wait!)

Very tasty dumplings 🥟 and nice atmosphere. The service is very polite and there is lots of variety in dumplings.
