"Pier 16 captures NYC’s past seafaring days when sea dogs roamed its piers. This throwback experience features one of the last wrought-iron schooners, the Wavertree; the 1907 lightship, Ambrose, which safely led ships from the Atlantic into the harbor; the fishing schooner, Lettie G. Howard; the 1930 tugboat, W.O. Decker; and the powerful, four-masted barque, Peking. Oh yeah, there's a park too!" - Wasabi Rabbit

We took the 50-minute Liberty Super Express Cruise from Pier 16 at South Street Seaport on a cloudy Thursday evening. Despite the light drizzle, the weather added a cozy, moody vibe to the trip. The boat ride was smooth and exciting, with the waves making it feel like a fun motorboat adventure. Our guide was engaging and informative, pointing out landmarks like the Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. The views were stunning, and the overcast sky gave the city a unique charm. We considered the 90-minute sunset cruise but felt the 50-minute tour was perfect—concise yet comprehensive. Tickets were $28 per person, totaling $135 for our group of five, including taxes. The experience was well worth it, offering a memorable perspective of New York’s iconic sights. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see the city’s landmarks from the water.

Get here on the first boat it’s worth waking up early dress warm . Upon return we saw a massive line of people waiting I think it’s only 1 boat. I love the fact they don’t over pack the boat compared to other boats. If you don’t want to go on the island but want to see the statue this is probably your best option we bought the tickets online.

We took a ferry from Pier 16 to watch the Statue of Liberty and other attractions around. The tour guide ( Steve) was awesome and very knowledgeable. Definitely do go and see the Staue of Liberty while in New York.

The fact that they allow scammers to freely make people purchase tickets for their business, knowing they are charging double of the base price, is in itself ridiculous. You have people who will official city badges confusing out of towners that know no better. As a business (Circle Line Cruise), how are you allowing this to continue. The ticket booth informed me that it only cost $30 dollars. The scammers/"promoters" charged us double that with 25% "taxes." Regardless, they do provide an hour trip that provides great views of the statue of liberty from the water.
