The most aesthetic little Italian ice cream shop!! The staff were so friendly and gave us the biggest tester. We got 2 ginormous scoops of pistachio and chocolate, jam & brownie, well worth the money and absolutely delicious!! Best ice cream we have had in Australia!!

What a lovely little ice-cream joint in Lygon Street between Farady and Elgin Streets. Next door to King and Godfrey Lane where Johnny's Green Room is situated. It has an awesome vibe with lots of people still lining up despite it almost being 11.00pm. I had a cone with a couple scoops of ice-cream. Mango is one of my go-to flavours so why not try that. The other flavour was watermelon only because I had a craving for it. Was it good? Well, the watermelon was on the mark with its flavour but all too sweet. The mango, to be honest, didn't really taste like mango at all. Perhaps it wasn't mango was my first reaction. I'll need to give it another go and perhaps take some friends to see what they think. For now the jury is out but it will be worth checking out thos little gem again...most definitely. The atmosphere on the sidewalk was electric...perhaps all the neons had something to do with that? I must also remark that the young person who served me did so beautifully. With an enormous smile and just too willing to serve and manners that were ever so polite. This is something I really appreciate in people. Until next we meet, I will definitely return. Cheers

Always a delight to step into their store. Today, i tried their cinnamon with crushed pistachios and vanilla with honeycomb. Their coconut flavour was my favourite, but they no longer sell that.

Stopped over whilst driving through the City. Food: 5/5 . Fresh and quality ingredients Service: 5/5. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness: 5.5. Very clean, as expected Ovall: One vital thing missing is not being able to see that actual Gelto. This makes selecting the Gelato a little difficult when stepping outside the standard flavours.

Big line but even when they’re that busy the staff are still energetic and ready to serve. Gave us a sample of the flavours we wanted to try and the ice cream done good. Bit expensive

The line may look long but they get through it quick. There is a reason the line is long - because it is the best ice cream parlour in Melbourne. Love everything I have tried, was shocked at how good the salted chocolate ice cream was - thought I may have made a boring choice but it was truly the best chocolate ice-cream I think anyone could ever create.

We have been loyal customers of this ice cream shop since it first opened, but unfortunately, the quality of service has been declining over the years. It feels like the staff is doing us a favor while we are paying a significant amount of money. During our recent visit, we encountered a particularly unpleasant incident. We ordered two different flavors, one in a cup and one in a cone. The staff member misunderstood our order and gave us both flavors in a cup. When we clarified that we only wanted one flavor, the staff member had a rude reaction and served the other flavor in a cup instead of a cone. To make matters worse, the flavor served was incorrect, and we didn’t even bother to address the issue, because it was enough that she rolled her eyes and gave us such a look, if it would be me serving her and not inverse It’s a shame that the quality of service has deteriorated to the point where we feel like we are serving ourselves. However, we did appreciate the friendliness of the gentleman who was working behind the counter and engaging in conversation with customers. We believe that the owner should take a closer look at the staff and address these issues. It’s disheartening to pay for a service and be met with bitter faces and the feeling that we are an inconvenience. We also find the ice creams to be overly sweet lately. So 3.5/5 would be the appropriate Rating. Don’t bother to queue sometimes for up to 30 min to then get such a service.
