"Peninsula is a tiny, order-at-the-counter bakery inside a strip mall off Palm Canyon, and home to the best pastries, bread, and baked goods in Palm Springs. They make everything daily using imported French flour and butter, and when they sell out, they’re out. So no matter how late things went in the hot tub last night, be sure to get there before 10am or prepare for slim pickings. It’s impossible to pick a favorite at a place like Peninsula, but if you see a gooey almond croissant or thick, crunchy kouign amann behind the glass case, get them." - brant cox

"After a late night, don dark sunglasses and a hat before strolling into Peninsula Pastries. Everything is made with imported French butter and flour with a sprawling display case that further complicates the selection process. It’s a popular spot for locals and visitors who order coffee drinks, flaky kouign amann, chocolate croissants, and baguettes." - Mona Holmes, Eater Staff

"While the strip mall location doesn't exactly channel the glamor of Paris, this is our go-to for fresh breakfast pastries (the almond croissants and pain au chocolate are insane) and dinner party desserts. It’s owned by a French couple who whip up the delectable baked goods daily and put a ton of effort into quality—the bread selection, for example, is on par with the stuff you’ll find in authentic Parisian boulangeries…definitely try the olive loaf."

Get here early because the line can get long. However, the wait is worth it. I travel a lot and this place is one of the best I’ve had. I recommend the Butterscotch Pecan Twist! Authentic ingredients and very well made.

Don't be fooled by the modest storefront. Inside are some of the best pastries you'll ever find. The bread is great, the breakfast pastries are amazing. I haven't had a dessert yet but from eavesdropping people behind me, the cheesecake is excellent. Make sure to check for hours as they are not open daily, and bring cash as I believe there is a modest surcharge on credit card purchases.

Quite busy, lots of regulars, friendly proprietress, yummy pastries and good coffee and we returned within the hour to buy more. The texture of the kougn and pain chocolat were soooo good, the napolitan dud not disappoint and i eish i would have bought 3 of the pear chocolat

Fantastic authentic French bakery. Can taste the quality and dedication to the craft.

We don’t have many in the desert but, it’s the best French Bakery in the desert. Bam! That sticky bun is worth getting a few dozen but you’ll also be out a whole paycheck. Keep in mind they aren’t open much, I think they’re close M-W, but it is a bit pricey but well worth it. I wouldn’t go here for a coffee even though they have an espresso machine. Just go for the pastries, a loaf of bread, and maybe a slice of cake for dessert.

Google
discovered this local bakery in Palm Springs through social media and its glowing Yelp reviews, so I had to try it. It was just a 10-minute drive from my hotel. I saw a picture of their “chocolate tongue” on Yelp and knew I had to have it. The French lady behind the counter was charming and friendly, and her accent made the experience even more enjoyable. I took my “chocolate tongue” back to my hotel and enjoyed it by the pool—delicious!

Google
Cute little shop with authentic French pastries. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used. Price is reasonable, and the owner is friendly. We purchased a chocolate croissant and baguette to go. Those treats didn't even make it out of the parking lot; we devoured them in the car, and had to return for more!

Google
Such a great place to get delicious pastries. Per the wonderful lady working the counter, the pastries are made in the French way-with french butter and generally lighter than American pastries. I found all the flavors to be phenomenal, not too sweet, and great light textures. The raspberry cheesecake was my fave ❤️. Def go and get a COUPLE of things to share....or not.

Yelp
Authentic French pastries, breads, and desserts. C'est un vrai régal! Came in very early as they were opening and there were only a few locals grabbing their favorite treats. I also heard French accents and knew everything would most likely be fabulous. French are the best pastry and bread makers in the world in my opinion. I chose a half size onion loaf with some french butter of course and my fave sweet treat a kouign-amann. The bread was spectacular ~ light, airy, slightly chewy, filled with caramelized onions, and had a perfectly crispy exterior. My sweet treat was amazing as well, very buttery, flakey, and had an addictive caramel-like coating. Loved everything so much that I came back the very next day for more. They offer a good amount of variety and I'll be back each time I visit Palm Springs.

Yelp
Lovely people and selection of pastries here. I elected to try the Pain au Chocolat and Kouign-Amann. I would have preferred more chocolate for my taste but it was buttery and delicious otherwise - albeit quite flakey with a lot of crumbs when biting in. The Kouign-Amann was my favorite of the two, being very buttery and rich though slightly harder at the bottom as others have mentioned in their reviews. I look forward to trying their other pastries and breads.

Yelp
Stopped by this lovely French pastry shop on the way out, what a lovely experience I had. Helen, the owner was so delightful and explained all the different variety of pastries and breads that were available. She has a cute French accent as well. And she loves us Yelpie 's! I bought the large ChoChou pastry filled with Chantilly cream. Boy was it delicious! I highly recommend this spot!

Glen T.

Yelp
This feels like an authentic French Pastry shop. Welcome to Paris in Palm Springs! We had their pain au chocolat, and it was very flaky and buttery with just the right amount of chocolate. Their other pastries look exquisite. As others have noted, timing is key. Weekends there is a long line - but weekdays are quick. I strongly recommend coming in the morning, as they do often sell out by the afternoon.

Dominique C.

Yelp
Easy to park Wonderful service by Helene and the young lady. Amazing baguette and cereal bread. Fresh and delicious pastries so yummy! Also very good ambiance always because Helene is so friendly Do not miss this place!

Yelp
I love this bakery, my family has been coming here for years we go almost every weekend! Love the sticky buns! The owner is so sweet and the bakery is so adorable.

Yelp
I had higher hopes for this bakery, but our visit sadly left us feeling disappointed. First, they are only open from Thursdays through Sundays, so we came by around 2:00P on a Thursday which was the only time during our stay that we happened to be in the area. To our surprise, the pastry cases were mostly bare with about five types of baked goods to choose from. Based on online reviews hyping this place up, we couldn't leave empty-handed, so we selected two Amandine tarts and one of the last slices of apricot cheesecake to share among the four of us. These probably would not have been our first picks if the full selection was available, but options were slim, so we took our chances. + AMANDINE TART ($8): I thought this would be light, but it was actually really heavy and dense. The tart was described as containing an almond cream inside, but the consistency wasn't creamy at all. Instead, it was like a very coarse almond paste (almost cake-ish). The cookie crust on the bottom looked and tasted burnt (see photo) and it was challenging to even cut through it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this. + APRICOT CHEESECAKE ($8 per slice): I normally don't care for apricots, but I actually loved this cheesecake! It was light and neither too sweet nor rich. Instead of a graham cracker crust, this had more of a sponge cake base, which I really enjoyed. The apricot jam added a balance of sweetness and tartness, complementing the cheesecake well. I could have eaten the entire slice myself. I understand that the owners of the bakery probably want to avoid having a surplus of baked goods left over on any given day. However, I believe they were open until 5:00P, so it was such a bummer that most of the items were out of stock three hours ahead of closing time. Two other customers who arrived a couple minutes before us shared the same sentiments about the limited selection. Lesson learned... if you plan to come here, visit right in the morning!

Lucero R.

Yelp
Phenomenal pastries. I had the La Lorraine, delicious! It was our first time at this patty, glad we stumbled upon this little gem. We will definitely go back for more on our next visit to Palm Springs. Service was very amiable, and ambiance was lovely. Merci beucoup!

Yelp
Peninsula Pastries is a French bakery located in a small strip mall in the heart of Palm Springs. Owned and operated by French couple - Christopher and Helene - this is the real deal. Christopher is the baker and Helene works the front. She is always very friendly and welcoming. We go to Peninsula to satisfy our occasional craving for their savory, flaky croissants, their home-made baguettes, or - if we want to be really bad - a sampling of their delicious French pastries. Their prices may be higher than what you would find at supermarket, coffee shop or other bakeries - but this truly is a case of "you get what you pay for." You cannot compare their home-made, freshly-baked goods to what you might be accustomed to elsewhere. In the photo below you see one of their wonderful baguettes along with a partially eaten cheese bread - it didn't quite make it home - and the pastries also seldom do - which speaks volumes in and of itself. I'm sorry I was not able to share with you photos of their pastries: delicious, and in many cases unique for the area. My single photo does not do justice to the many breads and pastries you will find here. With limited hours (they are closed Monday through Wednesday and open Thursday through Saturday 8:30 to 5) and a well-deserved local following, it is a good idea to get here earlier in the day because they often sell out. I disagree with an earlier reviewer who wrote that this is "Palm Springs where people are friendly..." That has not always been our experience - but it certainly has been here at Peninsula Pastries. Super friendly, super helpful - highly recommended. Come prepared to be tempted!

Yelp
After hearing really good things about this place for a while, I visited the location last week for the first time. I must say that I was very pleased with everything offered here. Upon entry, I found the decor to be very charming and the pastries beautifully presented. I ended up purchasing a pear chocolate custard danish, an almond croissant, a butterscotch pecan twist, and a lemon tart, all which came out deliciously fresh and well worth every penny. Both ladies behind the counter were very sweet, warm and welcoming. A lovely bakery that I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon.

Melissa M.

Yelp
The woman behind the counter greeted me warmly when I arrived and took my order right away. I ordered an Americano with two shots and an orange blossom custard bun. The coffee was so good! I was less enthusiastic about the pastry - it was tasty but just not what I was in the mood for. I should have gotten a croissant or tart instead.

Rocky F.

Yelp
Read the Yelp reviews and was excited to try Peninsula Pastries. I ordered an almond/chocolate croissant. It wasn't a croissant. It was a flat, moist pancake-like pastry. It didn't even vaguely resemble a croissant. The flavor was okay, there was almond and chocolate. Just don't think it should be called a croissant, because it is not. I wouldn't order it again. Might return to try something else if I am in the area again.

Kris L.

Yelp
Gorgeous, buttery pastries and French bread are on display here. Hubby had a flaky cheese bread and decadent cake and enjoyed every bite. The shop is very busy - a good sign, and nicely tucked away just south of the main shopping area, so it feels authentic and local. Check them out!

Thomas M.

Yelp
This place is dangerous. I wanted one of everything!! The danish style pastries are superb. Always a line to get in and they do sell out! Get there early.

Mike M.

Yelp
A wonderful find of delicious and authentic French pastries, pains, breads, and sweet treats. A feast for the sights, smells, and taste. The pastry store reminded me of a small shop in one of Paris' labyrinth of specialty food streets. My personal favorite is the flakey and buttery croissant. In my opinion, it is their blue ribbon item and door buster. The blueberry cheese pastry is also a home run. I will return to this pastry gem. The owner, Helene was also friendly as she greeted me with a smile upon entering her shop. If it is your first time here, you may need a few minutes to decide upon which delectable treat to enjoy.

Kae J.

Yelp
This bakery was pleasant to visit. I just wish they had a bar or table to enjoy the pastries at. My best friend and I went in on a whim and it did not disappoint !! She had the Kouign-amaman. I had the Le Lorrain because it had mirabelle! One of my fave fruits that is quite difficult to find in the States. We also took the 5 spice mini baguette, a pain au chocolat, and a pear tarte for the house. Everyone was happy with their pastries. They are perfectly made with really good butter. The ladies at the counter were pleasant and efficient. The shop is very cute and clean. It's really bit of France in Palm Springs.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
These pastries are Devine!!!! The biggest problem you will have is making a decision on what to select! I ordered a plain croissant, a pecan "roll" and a pear tarte... as well as a delightful fresh squeezed juice. The absolute highlight was the pecan roll (I know there is a beautiful French name but can't remember it. The roll was amazing! Ooey, gooey, chewey center with a flakey, slightly crunchy outer shell. Filled will tons of pecans and a gorgeous caramel layer and drizzle. It's also huge! It took 3 days to eat it so plenty to share if you're willing! The pear tarte was very light and delicate. Croissant was solid but I'd go with more interesting options. Don't skip the tangy, thick, gorgeous juice. If you are a tourist this is a bit (15 min) of a walk (v easy) from the center of town and you'll wonder if you should turn around, don't! It's safe and so worth it. You can also drive (there is parking) or ride share. Get over there early and try out your French with the lovey women who (own?) work there!!!!

Nijole T.

Yelp
The best bakery in Palm Springs! Extremely authentic French bakery. Their baguette, as well as pastries are outstanding! Service is extremely friendly and efficient. Prices are high, but well worth the splurge. We make a point of stopping here every time we are in Palm Springs and stock up for at home. The bread freezes well, you can simply find nothing better! Highly recommended!

Will X.

Yelp
Peninsula Pastries is a standout pastry place in and for Palm Springs. Located in a cozy plaza, Peninsula is a French bakery where youll be welcomed in French and leave with some delectable bites ranging from croissants to cake to fruit laden pastries. The kouign aman had a good balance of crispy crystallized sugary outsides and a warm tender inside. 3.5% fee for credit card. Debit and cash no fee.

Howie C.

Yelp
The perfect grab and go spot if you are craving French pastries and bread in Palm Springs. There were more pastries and croissants than I could sample in a week. The also have baguettes and breads, the half baguettes being a go to if you want to eat something savory right away with or without butter. Half Baguettes ($3.90-$4.50): Gruyere Cheese Olive Bacon Onion Plain White Flour Full Baguettes ($6-$7): White Flour Rustic Flour Epi Breads: Sunflower Seed Whole Wheat Miche Other baked items (not a complete list): Sticky Bun Butterscotch Pecan Tart Orange Blossom Custard Raisin Roll Apple Turnover Le Lorrain Apricot Custard Peach Custard Pear Chocolate Custard Almond Croissant Chocolate Almond Croissant Pain Au Chocolat Plain Croissant Pear Almond Cream Tart (Large) Raspberry Cheese Cake Apricot Cheese Cake Chocolate Ganache Very tough choices, but I went with a Crispy Cheese Gruyere Half Baguette and an Almond Croissant. Gruyere Cheese Half Baguette ($4.50) - The cheese baguette had all the crunchy crust a great baguette should have along with the bubble over crispy cheese top that made me want to go right back and get another if I wasn't already five miles down the road. Almond Croissant ($8) - Peninsula's Almond and Chocolate Almond Croissants flat, more soft and than flaky and very big, bigger in size than a grown man's outstretched hand. I am a sucker for almond croissants and this one was a phenomenal one. It had a strong bottom that would bend but also break with a little pressure, opening up to an inside that was erupting with almond marzipan paste. I'd also get this again, it could easily hold until the next day if needed, but why would you? The quality of the pastries here is unquestioned. They are located in the corner of a strip mall and had a steady stream of morning customers so it's definitely a local favorite. A little bit of France, right here in Palm Springs, how can you resist?

Christine M.

Yelp
Breads are excellent! I have sent them a question - and thinking, maybe they will see it here and answer. I will be coming in for a dozen Croissants for Thanksgiving. So good! I am wondering if you will offer, Thanksgiving week, something with that Apple Pie flavor/taste? Something that would suit that Apple Pie w/Ice cream that my Family would love on Thanksgiving. I am a great cook :) ... but not much at baking - and I would prefer an excellent local bakery dessert, rather than a store bought frozen apple pie. Thanks!

Tery L.

Yelp
Recently returning from a trip to Paris, we had to check if the pastries and baguettes at this establishment lived up to all the rave reviews, and they absolutely did. If you're in the Palm Springs area, this French bakery is a must-visit. We bought a variety of pastries and baguettes, and they all exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to try them before their summer closure. They will resume regular business sometime in September.

Nancy D.

Yelp
French pastries, cakes and bread made with butter from Normandy, imported French flour ( free from GMO and preservatives) and LOVE that pleases the body and enriches the soul..., created by Helene & Christophe. After moving from France to Palm Springs in 2014, they opened their pastry-bakery. Their croissants & French bread are kneaded and baked daily in their shop. Closed Mon- Wed. They are open Thursday-Sat 8:30-5. They close an hour earlier on Sunday at 4. This is one of those places you better get to early because they will sell out. Thank goodness they don't open until 8:30, but there will be a line. Yet the anticipation and reward are totally worth the wait. It's Palm Springs where people are friendly, happy to be in the sunshine, and great conversationalists on the sidewalk. Located at 611 S Palm Canyon Drive, in an L shaped shopping center which also includes Revivals, Spaghetteria, Palm greens cafe restaurant, and next to Modern home design showroom. I kind of don't want to share this spot, if you know what I mean. ;-)

Judy S.

Yelp
We'll probably try it again the next time we're in the area. But were were a bit disappointed by the pastries. I got an almond croissant and it was way too sweet. Wasn't worth the long line - we were waiting outside the front doors on the sidewalk. It does seem like many people were ordering baguettes, so we may do that next time.

Brigitte W.

Yelp
Simply delicious. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. It's a treat once a month or for a special occasion. I'm lucky to be very close for nice indulgence. The homemade preserves are to die for. They also have great coffee.

Mark W.

Yelp
Oh yes .... Simple YES YES YES The best bakery in town MY go to for quality baking And the baguettes ! AAAA+

Roxana P.

Yelp
Totally worth the price... make sure u come in early as they sell out fast!!! I did not try the bread but it looked amazing also.

William B.

Yelp
We walked from our hotel in the middle of downtown (15 minutes) . Worth every step! The variety of pastries and treats was exceptional. Eating them was even better! Chewy, gooey, crunchy and crispy in all the right ways on each one we tried. Incredible depth of flavor and texture. Very French venue. Best part is the wonderful atmosphere and women behind the counters. Thanks again, Bill

Windy C.

Yelp
I was recommended this place by my mother in law and boy am i glad i listened! The food is simply divine, I've never tasted anything as tasty and delightful as the sticky bun! The ambiance is incredible. The service was spectacular and swift. I will be returning! Will be returning as much as possible before they close for the summer. Next i want to try the peach pastry look how beautiful!

Jan S.

Yelp
Terric bakery, great bread, excellent pastries. Modest storefront, no seating, can get busy, check hours in advance, cash preferred.

Talisa D.

Yelp
French owned, these pastries were very good. There was a line out the door but it went by quickly. We enjoyed an apricot tarte, almond/chocolate croissant, and kouign amman. The kouign amman and tarte were incredible with just the right amount of crisp and sweetness! The almond chocolate croissant was soft, not crispy, which was odd. Not sure if they always make it that way or if it didn't bake right today? We'd return to try additional pastries! They sell out every day so I wouldn't wait to go until closing.

Edith F.

Yelp
You might be from France, but you surely do not know how to bake. I was hopeful after what I read. Perhaps there are a few good things on your menu, but I will not go spend more money to find out. The croissant has absolutely no flavor and is not delicate and flaky as it should be or buttery. I ordered a couple of other things. One of them was a Napoleon type of pastry and your version kouign-amann is really sad. It's very clear the owner of this establishment does not take constructive criticism well.

Roger E.

Yelp
Top notch bakery with incredible French bakers. Excellent bread, pastries, cakes, and many other delicious items.

Adam L.

Yelp
This is a nice discovery in Palm Springs. I was getting some car service done nearby early in the morning and looked on Yelp for croissants, pastries and such. Peninsula popped up and I was sold. Mid morning there were a few customers and all of us were undecided. So many items look so good. If I get this I can't get that. Now that's limited thinking. The croissant was great, flaky and buttery and of course I got a baguette to take home for lunch. There might have been a pastry in there too. We brought some out of town guests in about a week later to confirm our first impressions. Tres bien. It's a bright small shop and the service is friendly and helpful. But how, with baked temptation all around, do they manage to stay so slim?

Sheryl L.

Yelp
I was in Palm Springs and went to Yelp to find a place for pastries for my husband and mom. What a cute place and a French woman explained to me that the ingredients or or recepies came from France I think she said! I was really hungry so I took a little bite and ended up eating half of three of them! For my taste buds these are the best pastries I ever had. Then I came to find out they will be closing in three weeks for the summer and re-opening again in September. I can't wait to bring Mom here she will be so excited. It's almost impossible to find good pastries. I especially loved the apricot.

Tish V.

Yelp
We visited the bakery twice while we were in PS. The first day the pastry was amazing. First day it was a 5 rating. The 2nd day the sticky bun was burnt. That was very disappointing. We were 2 hours away when we noticed it was burnt. The second day a 3 rating. That sticky bun should never been placed in my bag.

Wayne L.

Yelp
This is a local French bakery favorite. Pasties only. No sandwiches or cook to order. French bread and pasties only. Run by a husband and wife team. Very nice people. The pastries are beautiful and oh so good. Flavors explode in your mouth! Yelp Grading This is my rating system to help you gauge my rating. I feel it is a dis-service to over inflate ratings. I don't want you to be disappointed with your experience. The shop feels like a small corner French bakery. Perfect. Anything under three stars is not worth mentioning. Meh. *** stars - Good overall. Some aspects are above the notch: food, service, and/or ambiance. Worth your time. **** Stars - Exceptional, short of perfect. ***** Stars - Perfect in all aspects. Food/Product quality, Service, and Ambiance

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Beautiful shop and equally delicious pastries! Bread is my weakness, so my kids and I got 3 half baguettes (classic French, bacon, and Gruyère). Each was divine. Also, for the road from Palm Springs back to AZ, we got the extremely large chocolate tongue, a couple of the croissants, and a peach Danish! The lady who served us was so nice and attentive and mentioned that she had lived in AZ previously! The shop was super clean and smelled heavenly! Missed getting pictures to share as we all dove right in! I am looking forward to returning to PS and Peninsula Pastries too!

Manish C.

Yelp
An amazing French pastry and bread shop in the heart of Palm Springs, Peninsula Pastries is worth a stop for some authentic French delicacies. The owner was present, so I decided to break out some of my cordial French speaking skills, but didn't fully understand her reply she gave in French, so maybe not the best idea, but no regrets for giving it a shot. She was super nice and gracious to all the customers, despite it being a bit later in the day and nearly closing time. I went with the pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant). While not cheap at $5, it was totally worth it as it brought me back to Paris, as the croissant was perfect flaky and rich in flavor, with the perfect chocolate accents and not being too sweet. I imagine it would have only been better when fresh out of the oven earlier in the day, but mine tasted great as is. If I had more days to spend in the Palm Springs area, I would have definitely picked up some bread as well. Overall, Peninsula Pastries delivers a solid product that I recommend.

Christine B.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this Boulangerie! The baguettes are incroyable. Went to the Palm Springs ShortFest today so had to go here first. We tried the "Tongue" for the first time & oh dear I'm hooked! Sticky Bun is my favorite and we always get a few Baguettes. Everything is good so choose what you like best. They close during the Summer so last day is June 29. I'll definitely be back by then.

Chivita G.

Yelp
Olive bread is amazing and you have to buy their salted butter! Chocolate tonight is delicious!!!

Alex J.

Yelp
We don't visit Palm Springs often . . . okay maybe once every 10 years . . . so we don't know much about the food scene here. But what we do know, and what we stumbled upon, is a fine French bakery serving up some absolutely amazing pastries and run by an absolutely fantastic woman! We came by Sunday morning around 10am, just between two small crowds so we had a chance to chat with the owner. She is very lovely and welcoming, especially when we know a thing or two about French pastries and culture! Today we ordered the chocolate tongue and butterscotch pecan twist - two of the largest pastries you will find anywhere! The chocolate tongue was softer but still firm on top, the dough was chewy and dense, but wow there was so much chocolate! Personally, and actually for my family, a bit too much chocolate and we had to scrape some of it off to still enjoy the bread. But other than that, the small amounts of chocolate we kept worked well. The absolute favorite and something I would drive all the way to Palm Springs for is the butterscotch pecan twist. Crunchy, soft, bitter, sweet, savory, sticky, oh so tasty and amazing! The combination of textures and flavors made for one absolutely delightful, indulgent pastry. We also ordered a large coffee that was made well. The only downside to our visit was the cashier, a younger girl who was just flat out rude. While we were speaking with the owner - and NO BODY else in the bakery - she was telling us to "move over" "stand over there" as if we were in her way or inconveniencing her. She should definitely get an attitude check. Luckily she didn't ruin our experience and we would definitely recommend this spot!

Janie F.

Yelp
Been eager to try the pastries here and finally made it. The baguettes are stellar and def their strong point. We also had a lovely peach danish which was very fresh and not too sweet which we loved. Croissants are underwhelming sadly. Have had better one: at LAtelier Cafe. Just feel the need to give folks a heads up cause it's such a staple I was honestly surprised at how lack luster they were. The amazing baguette made up for it though, glad I didn't skip that!

Victoria S.

Yelp
Absolutely the best French bakery in town. The owner is very lovely and works extremely hard. Support small businesses

Tanja S.

Yelp
I literally wanted to cry the second I walked in - the smell of a REAL European bakery. Oh how I missed this! Freshly homemade pastries, breads, and cake. I can't put into words how my tastebuds reacted. Heaven!!! From the baguette to several pastries, all was gone within an hour. As a born and raised European, I'll be returning over and over and over again. A real slice of home! Oh, and they have the friendliest staff!

Helene and her team create amazing breads, pastries, cakes, and specialities. I have shipped the baguettes across the US, ordered a cake and have always enjoyed the charm of this place. Be aware of the Summer break they take if you are visiting. Their September return is always sweet.

Yelp
I was so excited to visit this bakery as I've heard it's amazing! I've been wanting to try the chocolate tongue pastry for months. I was in town for the weekend from LA and double and triple checked to make sure it was open on Yelp and Google and the Facebook page. My friend and I drove 35 mins and arrived right at opening and this notice was posted on the door. We were so disappointed. I understand the shipment of ingredients isn't the bakery's fault, but notifying costumers via digital platform is important. If we had known it was closed on Sunday we would have stopped by on Saturday. :(

Yelp
Stop by here on every one of my visits to Palm Springs. I love the sticky bun the best but they were all out by the time we stopped by. We ended up getting the chocolate croissant which we devoured. We also got the raisin roll which was not our favorite but still yummy. Stick buns are still my all time fav.
