Arrive early! They opened at 5pm when we went and it filled up in no time. It’s quite small so it has a good charm to it. They have a nice bar style seating as well. With the fire from the pizza oven, the warmth of the place contributes to the ambiance. The food is excellent and the portions are generous as well. The pizza has a good crust and the ingredients are of good quality. The same goes for pasta. Excellent quality. The staff is nice and not pushy but they are busy bees.

One of our fave place for Italian food.this place fills up fast so do expect to wait for table availability. Their food to the service was amazing and you could never go wrong with anything on their menu.

An enjoyable meal. The atmosphere is fine. Nothing remarkable. An upscale pizza 🍕 venue. There are a lot of comparable places around. The food was very good. I struggled to decide if it was a 4 or a 5 star place. I don't think pizza in Vancouver is very good, on the whole. But this was good pizza. Neopolitan style pizza. Nice crust, good sauce, good toppings. It was very nice. In comparison to other places here it was very good, but I could see someone saying it is well made pizza but it should be. You will like it. The salads were good. So that took it up to a 5 star for me. The tomato salad was good and the kale salad was very well done. The service was excellent. Really attentive and helpful. Try it out. You'll like it.

Absolutely loved our experience at this Italian gem! The restaurant was buzzing right from the 5 PM opening, and it’s easy to see why. The specials were a true highlight—full of flavor and so well-crafted. Even though there was a bit of a delay after our appetizers bcz of how busy they were, the service was outstanding. Our waitress went above and beyond, checking in regularly and even offering complimentary bites while we waited for our main courses. Such attention to detail and thoughtfulness made all the difference. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Italian food with warm, attentive service. Can’t wait to go back!

One weekend night, my boyfriend and I were searching on Google for a restaurant that could satisfy our taste buds. 🤤 We were craving an Italian style cuisine, and we landed on Nook on Denman in Vancouver. We've seen the restaurant before but had never tried it. As we walked inside the restaurant, we noticed how upbeat and friendly the staff were. Even if it was near closing time. 🤗 Nook is small but cozy. The restaurant itself is lit dark with music that makes your heat beat!💓 The servers are also polite and social. The food of course is amazing 👏 We ordered the Housemade Sausage Pizza for $26 and the Rigatoni Boscaiola for also $26. Beautiful presentation and extremely delicious!

We had heard good things about Nook & this location is within walking distance from our daughter. We chose to celebrate her birthday as a party of 5. It is quite small inside so all that was left was a small table by the window & we made do knowing we did not have a reservation. We had two different pizzas & two pasta dishes & the food did not disappoint! What did disappoint was the service. Sure we got our water filled up & drinks when we asked but the server was flat & indifferent & seemed to be going through the motions with zero engagement. Not someone I would want as the face of my business. What topped it off was when we pointed out it was our daughter's birthday there was no acknowledgement! Not a smile, not a Happy Birthday, NOTHING! As a family who deals with the public in various different jobs (including a daughter who serves herself!) we know what to expect at a restaurant & suffice to say we won't be back.

My friend recommended to try this Italian restaurant and she said it was really good. We had a very good experience. Friendly staff and amazing food. They were on top of everything all the time. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and pasta dishes to share between a bunch of us. The food were very delicious. Highly recommended.

Went here for dinner on my first night in Vancouver. The food was delicious. Pizza was probably the best I have ever had! Servers were friendly but after we ate i felt like they just wanted to get rid of us. Nice atmosphere though, seems like a popular spot
