Niagara Glen Nature Centre

The trail itself doesn’t have an admission fee, but the parking is paid ($8/hour). You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Niagara River before entering the trail; this part is wheelchair accessible, but the trail itself is not; and you have to take long stairs to access it. The trail has multiple loops, main loop being 2.1 km. It’s very scenic and absolutely beautiful. Different parts of the trail have different conditions; some parts are suitable for rock climbing. You can only access the trail from sunrise to sunset as it would be dangerous in the dark and most probably you’ll get lost. Make sure you’re well-equipped before entering the trail; hiking shoes, water, suitable clothing, etc.

Beautiful place, any season. Book parking for 2hrs if you're just walking or for 3hrs if you're going to have a picnic lunch by the river. The dark blue trail goes down to the very water, it's really nice to sit there on the big rocks. The paths themselves aren't long but not super easy either. Now in the fall, the paths are covered in leaves, which makes it difficult to see where to step. Kids and fit people love it, older or with knee issues, not too much!

A great hiking spot! Parking is $8 per hour, or $30 for a yr pass that will expire 1 yr from the date you paid. The views and hike was great. There is some rough and steep terrain, nothing paved so keep that in mind. The trails are not marked too much so make sure you grab a map. There’s nice washroom at the parking lot, and a water-bottle filling station. We will definitely be coming back for another hike!

it's a very beautiful trail, but also a difficult trail, should be cautious. Not only because a lot of places need to be up and down, but also that there are rocky and no pavement in someplace. If it's raining, it will be very slippery, especially step on the leaves. One of my friends almost got injured 😢 Good luck and be safe!

This park was a nice break from the touristy area around Niagara Falls. It’s beautiful to see the river from above and also to walk down to the river. There is a set up stairs to get down to river and some additional elevation change on the trail. The hike to the whirlpool trail was closed when we went for repairs. The park is free but you have to pay for parking.

Visiting the Niagara Glen Nature Center was an incredible experience! The trails are well-maintained and offer a perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. Walking through the lush forest, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the Niagara River and the stunning rock formations. The center is well-equipped with informative displays about the local flora and fauna, making the visit educational and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the Whirlpool View Point, which offered a spectacular view of the swirling waters below. The entire area is a haven for nature lovers, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were particularly impressed with the efforts to preserve the natural environment, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, the Niagara Glen Nature Center is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. We can't wait to return in the fall to witness the changing colors of the trees and water. Highly recommend this gem for a day of hiking, exploration, and relaxation!

Niagara Glen Nature Centre is very near to Aero Bus. Parking fee is 8CAD per hour. Washroom is clean. The park has benches & picnic benches. Niagara Glen Hiking Trail is the main attraction here. You go down to the Niagara River by hiking. I went there after rain & at fall season. The hiking trails were wet & slippery, fallen leaves made the path more silppery. The trails are very steepy & challenging. It's harder to go down & easier to climb up! From start to finish of the hiking (from parking lot), it takes around two hours. At the end of the hiking trail, the mesmerising beauty of Niagara river is the reward of your hard work. You can do fishing there.

A wonderful place to hike and spend time. Parking is bit expensive $8/hr. I enjoyed the nature there.
