Stumbled across this cafe last weekend while in the area and loved it. The cafe/bakery is quite small so seating was tough to find however it was comforting to know that people did not mind sharing tables with you when asked. My husband and I ordered the grilled cheese with a side of soup (soup off the day was ginger and carrot), the poached egg on sourdough toast, a flat white and americano. The sourdough was delicious and they also had small pastries at the front but we were too full to order more.

Super experience at Nelson the Seagull Cafe. Wonderful beverages and a delectable assortment of pastries, breads and other foods. The space is quaint, cozy and inviting. It's tiny though. I couldn't find a seat for brunch on a Sunday so you know it's popular. The coffee and bread was awesome. The service was very helpful and friendly. 5 x ☕☕☕☕☕

Obsessed with Nelson the Seagull! We first tried their sourdough at a bar the night before and it was SO good with butter, we had to go to the source! This place is the real deal. The bread is incredible (obviously), and the coffee was top-notch too.

Thanks God to guide us to this cozy coffee shop in the last day in 2024. We are really satisfied with the coffee and bread. It's amazing！ We bought fig and sourdough for our dinner. So nice！Highly recommend it ！Happy New Year~

One of my favorite cafes. The food is great, I’m not a bread person but they have the most amazing sourdough that is baked fresh daily, I will eat the bread here!!!! And you can order a fresh loaf online for pickup the next day! The espresso here is absolutely delicious. I really enjoy coming here, Highly recommend.

We're extremely satisfied with their figs/ walnuts sourdough and olive/ rosemary sourdough. The texture of the bread was rich in flavour. Both sourdoughs were delicious. We will definitely order again in the future.

I rarely feel so compelled to write a review for a store, but this cafe is 5 stars all around. The workers even went above and beyond to accommodate my needs (and mistakes) when I ordered a hot instead of iced mistakenly. They also gave a label for my loaf of bread so I could take it over the border. The cafe is super cozy, the food is amazing, and the coffee is also top tier. I spent my day getting some work done here and was very satisfied with my experience!

First time trying this brunch, the bread was very hard for me and hard to cut with a knife, that was my only disappointment, everything else was good. My friends and I love the atmosphere and coffee here.
