Google
Best distillery I have been to in Nashville, the former chemical engineer owner and current master distiller was incredibly knowledgeable and a great tour guide. I definitely left knowing more than when I came. The icing on the cake is that every spirit I tried was a must have for my bar at home. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Google
After over a dozen distillery tours throughout Scotland, Kentucky, and Tennessee, this was *by far* the best explanation of the grain->beer->spirit->whiskey process I've ever heard. Very cool! The details were much appreciated. The facility is super small, so you can get up close and personal with all of the equipment and such. The whiskeys were also really good. I ended up buying two bottles of the Original Bourbons. Great bourbon for the price. Go for the whiskey, stay for the tour!

Google
Great spirits and a great experience! I’ve been to dozens of distilleries, in many states, and this is one of my favorites for sure. Bruce (owner/distiller) is a great guy and very passionate about distilling as well as the science behind it. Highly recommended!! I didn’t get many photos because I was too busy asking Bruce questions.

Google
Picked up bottle of single barrel bourbon. It is distilled on premises. Nice location and friendly service. You can get tastes with ID and small fee.

Google
I had an amazing visit to NCD. I had the privilege of tasting a few spirits with the distiller himself, and he went above and beyond to share his passion with me. He explained the spirits in detail, spoke about the industry, and let me behind the curtain on an active production. It was the highlight of my day! I highly recommend a visit to this authentic, small batch distillery!

Google
Great distillery tour. Very local distillery and small. Have booked a tour but it was only the two of us. They were very friendly and told all the process how to make alcohol. Everything was make in this small building. After tour we tasted to spirits and a cocktail. Normally I’m not to bourbon whisky but theses small batches and so handcrafted whisky tasted so good. Highly recommended

My brother and I took a trip to Tennesse in March of 2023 and we went to so many distilleries, and Nashville Craft was by far the best experience/whiskey we had. Bruce was incredibly kind and made my brother and I feel so welcome as we drank a flight of samples. I have been craving their whiskey ever since and wish I could have it shipped to me. I can't recommend this place enough! They are great people with great spirits (pun intended)!

Google
We loved it here! We ended up being the only two people on the tour and learned so much about distilling and asked lots of questions. We are not chemistry geeks but it was cool to learn that side of the distilling process. It was also really cool to learn about the sorghum spirit and how it's made. The samples and cocktails were great too!

Yelp
Parking: there is a huge parking lot right in front of the the distillery. No walking necessary although payment is necessary I'm this particular lot. Whiskey: so this tasting was a little different from the others as it was t just whiskey. Their tasting consisted of 7 different drinks. Only two were whiskey. The others included a rum, moonshine and absinthe. It made for a good time and was very tasty. The drinks they offered were really good too. Atmosphere: my friends broke out the info cards and chilled while enjoying our tasting. The staff was amazing and there was some cool art that made for a good photo shoot. The staff stepped in and wrre great photographers. Put this place on your list for whiskey tours if you are in the Nashville area. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
Up front, I did not take the tour. I am trying to complete the Tennessee whiskey trail and this is one of the 37 stops. I came in during the early hours right after opening. I was the only customer and the bar tender was great. Very informative about the distillery and the companies history. I had an Old Fashioned and it was extremely good. I'm surprised at how different these can be depending who makes it and where you get it, but this was a great one! Lots of places to go around Nashville but this one should make the list. I highly recommend, I will be back and next time I'll take the tour.

Yelp
Top notch customer service, dog friendly, and delicious cocktails! Doesn't get much better for a distillery novice! Definitely check them out if you're in the area and looking for a friendly, small business experience.

Yelp
If you are looking for a real drink, get out of the touristy part of downtown and come to this distillery. The distillery provides a great select of products and also makes cocktails. And on weekends you can get a tour of the facility. Nice small place where you can get good service and real conversation!

Yelp
Nashville Craft Distillery is a really cool modern distillery with some interesting cocktails.

Yelp
Third time was not the charm! We visited Nashville Craft two times prior to our visit on Friday, 2/17 and absolutely loved it. Great drinks and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. This visit it was a different female bartender and she made no attempt to make us feel warm and welcomed. No friendly greeting and no attempt to have a conversation with us at all and we were the only customers there. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Came this wkd for drinks. We ordered the apple cider and whiskey sour- they tasted very similar to me. We got to sample their sorghum as well. Space is super small but a friendly group. Eager for our return!

Yelp
We had such a great time on the distillery tour. For $20, you spend about 40 min understanding the science that goes into fermentation and distillation process. The guides broke it down in simple terms and it was honestly so fascinating. We also learned about legal requirements for whiskey, bourbon and other spirits as well as barrel aging. We got to sample a cocktail and two spirit tastings - my favorite was the honey one. While it is a smaller space, don't let it deter you into the wealth of knowledge this place has!!

Yelp
This is definitely one of the better distillery tours I've been on. It's relatively short (around 40 minutes for the actual distillery portion) as it's a smaller space but the guides (at least the one we had) are super knowledgeable and go into great detail regarding their craft as well as the science and history of it without getting lost in the weeds. Note--it's HOT in the distillery so if you are easily hot, maybe tour in the fall or spring instead of the summer. Tours also come with a tasting, and I particularly enjoyed getting to try absinthe for the first time with a little instruction and display on how to best prepare and consume said drink.

Yelp
Decent whiskey, great sorghum (like a subtly sweeter cane rum), very friendly, and a nice tour. Went there during our weekend in Nashville. It's a small tasting room and distillery but they're so so nice, and the distiller herself walks you through their process. (Also, it's kind of cool that it's a she, since the outdated stereotype of whiskey and distilling is that they're "men" things.) The 30-minute tour is not free - and I think that's fair since you're taking up the distiller's time - but it does come with a tasting. You can also just purchase a tasting and skip the tour. We brought back two bottles with us. My wife's favorite was the Grandgousier Tennessee Whiskey, which they make for Fugitives, and mine was the Naked Biscuit sorghum. If you're into distilleries I would definitely make it a point of visiting here and taking the tour. It's informative and the spirits and cocktails are tasty. If you're driving, parking is plentiful.

Yelp
Amazing tour, really enjoyed . The whiskey is absolutely incredible. We loved it. I Went with 2 friends.

Yelp
A very new distillery that should have a bright future. If you want to know the science behind distilling spirits then this is the place. Great tasting session that included some of the random samples. I enjoyed their Golden Biscuit.

Yelp
Our party of six had the last tour of the day on Sat Dec 26 2020. We brought a group that included at least two wannabe whiskey afficianados, a brewer of their own beer, a chemical engineer, and two other interested tourists. We found Bruce to be very engaging. He seemed to happy to follow the threads of our many questions. The tour included some world history to explain the origins and transport of the distilling technology from ancient times, but also included some interesting science as well. I won't recount the entire story and tour - go and seek out this experience yourself! I will say it was memorable, and that none from our group will soon forget this experience. We found the samples afterward outstanding, and were happy to leave town with a few bottles in tow. Thank you Bruce!

Yelp
The best distillery tour I have ever been on. I've been to ~15 distilleries and this topped them all by a wide margin. A word to the wise: don't sleep on a micro distillery. Nashville Craft Spirits is small enough that you are guaranteed to have one of their distillers (not just a tour guide) walk you through their space. I have never been given such an expert and thorough breakdown of exactly what it takes to mash, ferment and distill spirits. He answered all of our questions in ways only a true master could, but also made the science and art of making craft spirits understandable to anyone. The tasting we had was also excellent, and was also poured and explained by a distiller. They're so small that their only full time employees are distillers! Ultimately, the product holds up very well, too. They have a wide variety and all was high-quality. Can't recommend this place enough! In my opinion, this is the can't-miss distillery in Nashville.

Yelp
Small, personal tour that explained the "science" of alcohol distillery. We appreciated the time we were given to answer all our questions. We learned a lot and got our choice of 2 samples to taste after the tour.

Yelp
Great spot and we had been one time before but were unable to sty due to a large bus tour. What a great spot and a awesome tour provided by on of the owners Brad who gave a awesome tour of the facility. The wife and I enjoyed some drinks as we were educated on the process of making fine spirits. A great fact that I was unaware of was that they can sell bottles on Sunday (who knew, not me) and you can sample with the tour. A great time and awesome space. Take a good look at the swag and if your looking for local gifts this is the spot. They are using all local farm ingredients and creating a great product. I would be prepared to see them in all areas soon. Brad who was a forensic scientist will give you a great lesson on making and creating a fine product. Great time and will be back soon!

Yelp
Oh you think you know wiskey. Ha. Ha. Ha. Take a tour here with their head distiller...he has a degree in F*kin SCIENCE n stuff. He broke it all down barney style for us plebs though and used words I could understand. Also, the bartender was knowledgeable and made some mean cocktails.

Yelp
Love this place! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Nashville Craft Distillery. It's our 2nd visit in just over a year. The options here are so good, especially when paired with a few tasty tidbits from the bakery next door! We did a dessert and distilled beverage pairing and everything was perfect. Thanks for the fun Nashville Craft - we'll be ordering some of your good hooch online soon.

Yelp
We wandered into Nashville Craft Distillery during the Wedgewood-Houston Art Crawl this past weekend. It was interesting to visit, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go again. When we walked in, it was quite busy near the bar (the tasting room is TINY - maybe 7 bar stools at the bar and three tables for two or four?), but the tables were available. We squeezed ourselves up to the bar and learned about their products. It was interesting stuff. A lot of liqueur-like products, an un-aged whiskey, and a Tennessee whiskey. My husband ordered a cocktail from their menu, which he liked. I decided to taste three of their products (you can taste 1 or all). While I liked one (the mead tasting one), I wasn't necessarily a fan of the other two on their own. I think cocktails might be the way to go here. All in all, it was a fun stop. But it's quite small, which makes it hard to spend too much time here. Nashville has a lot of distilleries, and there's a lot of competition. Nashville Craft Distillery was a fun stop, but its products didn't stand out to me!

Yelp
So, we hit up 3 distilleries in our short visit to Nashville. This one, while small, is the one to visit. First off, it is hip, and well laid out for a small distillery with tasting room, Second, the people are very welcoming and friendly. Lastly, Rachel, the house distiller, could not be more gracious and informative as a tour guide. If you want to get the quick rundown on how distilling and a craft distillery works, she is the one. Craft distilled spirits are a acquired taste, as they can be someone harsh and unbridled, the naked biscuit can fit right into that category, it needs a mixer. The Spiced Honey, that is the spirit to buy and drink on the rocks.

Yelp
Loved this place. I am Not an expert when it comes to whiskey by no means but I feel smarter after talking to the owners. Thanks again
google avatar

Ana B.

Yelp
We did a tour and the distiller was absolutely wonderful! Super knowledgeable and was winning to answer any questions and went into the ethics of the business and it was phenomenal to hear! They really take care with their sourcing and their methods and that was clear. The products are well made and fun!

Trevor M.

Yelp
Had a great tour here with the master distiller (I believe). He was very informative and really broke down the process of distilling. I have been to countless micro breweries and large distilleries and have never had a tour this in-depth. The alcohol options were also very nice and I am excited to come back when their whiskey is in production. Highly recommend coming here and getting a solid tour and having some good

Yelp
Tied for my number 1 best distillery tour so far. I booked Nashville Craft for a bachelorette activity and it was definitely the right decision. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We felt like we were on a VIP tour! So glad we could support this small up and coming distillery.

John T.

Yelp
Amazing visit and tour of the distillery by Bruce the owner and distiller! A great experience and opportunity to learn about true Tennessee distilling. A must visit!

Nick O.

Yelp
Bruce gave our group by far the best and most descriptive tour of a distillery I've ever had. I'd recommend reservations for the tour. We tried everything they make and were all very impressed with the quality of the products. Naked Biscuit is unique and delicious! Crane City Gin was very different from most Gin I've tasted, very clean with many different flavors, easy to sip alone! The Manifesto Whiskey is robust, I can't wait till their aged batch is released!
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
Got and awesome tour through the distillery today!! This science geek was super happy with all the science the tour guide/owner talked about on the tour. The cocktail that they made with the tour was so good best cocktail I've had in a while. The Naked Biscuit spirit was super smooth and went perfect in the cocktail.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
We found this place completely by accident & what a happy accident! Bruce & Rachael are so warm & welcoming. The whiskey is awesome. Their Lemon biscuit is delicious. The tour is extremely informative. Bruce is a great tour guide who really understands his craft. I highly recommend coming here BEFORE going to the Jack Daniels distillery. We had a much better understanding of the process because we went to Nashville craft first. If you come to Nashville and don't come to this place you are missing out!
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
Loved this place! The atmosphere was fun and light and we met the owner/ distiller and he was friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't do a whisky tasting but i did enjoy a very fresh reasonably priced cocktail. Small place but it wasn't crowded but still people in there.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
My wife and I love this place! We did the tour a few weeks ago which was amazing. The staff is incredibly nice but most importantly they know what they're doing. Nashville Craft is our preferred liquor store. Keep up the great work!

Jack D.

Yelp
Great people. Great tour. Great product. Get here and spend some time me the tour and sample. You will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Clare H.

Yelp
What I tasted in the distillery was so much better than I took home in a bottle of whiskey -- so disappointed!

Jessica A.

Yelp
We visited for a tour and had a great time! The owner was our tour guide - his passion for brewing was contagious, and his knowledge was very impressive! We had such a great time learning about the science and history behind whiskey tasting. Also really enjoyed the spirits we sampled during our tasting. When their whiskey is available for tasting I'm sure it will be incredible because it is clear that they put a great deal of care into their craft!

Theresa G.

Yelp
The tour is a biology lesson tempered with a craft cocktail. What a fun adventure and I am so glad we found this on our trip. You have to visit. The tour is short but the knowledge is vast.

Kasey F.

Yelp
This place was so awesome ! The tour was very interesting and really tapped into the science of distilling. The owner was so friendly and had so much knowledge. The bartenders were also very knowledgeable. They explained in depth all the spirits they made, what is in them and what they taste like. This made the tasting so much fun !
