One of my favourite stores in Metro Vancouver. Quality clothes, personable staff, and lots of other great goodies & gifts like candles, accessories, jewelery, home goods and decor, baby and kid items, etc. I just wish the sizing if their clothing was more inclusive (that's why it's 4 not 5 stars). I always stop in when I am in town in the area.

Beautifully curated items. I wish I could buy everything in this store. Friendly and educated staff. Lots of options for meaningful gifts and cards, especially if you need to grab something quickly. I think I've spent over $1000 here and I cherish every piece I've bought for myself. I don't make much money, but I feel good about spending my money here cause I know it's all ethically sourced/produced and supports local business owners and artists.

Finally Found a spot that carries belroy wallets, chose the pick up option it was fast and hassle free, the hand written note was very cute, will be sure to shop here more often

On Saturday, November 9th I walked by the shop and decided to pop in and look for some stocking stuffer gifts. When I arrived, there were two girls working at the counter who were laughing among themselves and didn’t great me. I shopped around the store for several minutes and picked up 4 small items to purchase. As I was ready to check out another employee came in and was discussing their sidewalk sign with the original employees. I put my items on the counter and still all three employees didn’t say anything to me, I had to say “hello” to get them to acknowledge me. Although I did purchase 4 items, I wouldn’t shop here again because of their lack of customer service. There is so much competition in the clothing / gift shop space, amazing customer service is a great way to stand out and create repeat customers.

Cozy spot to get local goodies. Soaps, candles, assorted food items, some clothing and much more. A nice sample of a wide variety of wares. Staff were friendly and prices were on the medium to high-ish (quality local products normally will cost you more, I guess). Good spot to get someone a gift.

I stumbled upon this store when I was walking back to my apartment after my morning coffee at Kafka's Coffee (which is amazing btw). They just opened the store at 11am this morning. I usually don't like to browse these type of stores, but I was very impressed with their merchandise. They have a variety of items from clothes, soaps, games, greeting cards, books etc. I had no intention of buying anything but their candles caught my eyes. I ended up buying three candles, hand soap, and two card games. I highly recommend checking this place out. The store offer a nicely curated range of products. If you are looking for a nice gift for the holidays or any other occasion, it is worth dropping by. Both ladies are very friendly and helpful as well.

I was a fan and even gave it a couple of chances after one incident where a sales lady hinted that I stole something. There was a horde of people in there when I entered. So at one point, a hanger must have dropped on the floor. After the group had left, I went to try some clothes on and the sales person hung up the rest of the items on the rod in the empty stall next to mine. She was there as I swapped out the clothes and even pointed out that there was an empty hanger. So it was surprising that she asked me about the empty hanger once I exited the stall. I had to remind her that she herself had pointed it out a few minutes ago. That was fine but awhile later, she spotted the hanger on the floor and asked me about it. What?? I don't know if she is the absent-minded sort or seriously expected to look in my bag.

Beautiful, beautiful, gorgeously well-curated shop run by an incredibly sweet and genuinely open Vancouverite, Much & Little is absolutely nothing like I originally thought it might be. What did I expect? Put a bird on it, quasi-lame crafty wares for the most fussy west-coaster. What did I actually find? Simple, hand crafted household items, clothing, and unique handpicked wares that may not be found anywhere else in Vancouver. Yes, Union Wood's serving trays (which are stunning and make a great gift) can be found here, and yes, Bookhou kitchen linens are sold here -- but scattered between these familiar faces are beautiful Japanese serving utensils, gorgeously crafted bread knives (with ridiculously lovely wood inlays) from a family-run business in New Mexico, and a colour explosion of Bauer pottery from LA. Pendleton blankets, leather bags, Afghani rugs, wooden watches, Matteo bedding, artisan scissors from India (wut!) -- this is such a special little shop. I now know where I'll be getting all of my gifts from. You really should, too.

There really should be more reviews for this amazing little shop. Beautifully well-made items meticulously curated with a stylish eye. If your home needs a little somethin' somethin' to spruce it up, this is the place to go. From beautiful terrariums, cute & softly coloured ceramic kitchenware, to butchers blocks and tumblers, I can only dream of replacing my apartment with everything from here. The perfect place to gift shop for your favourite hipster. ;)

This boutique has some super cute finds! I came across this little store when I was out and about the community of Main St with a girlfriend when she pulled me inside. Vintage vibe with touches of home decor, fashion, jewelry and gadgets this shop became one of my favourites. Great staff, and great selection in product. A little more on the expensive side, but well worth it. Check them out!

Lots of things to look at here but never walk away with more than a card. Great selection for gifts! Expanded the store so they could fit in more apparel. Its more of a place I just like to look around in, not purchase. $$$($)

My friend and I came across this cute shop while taking a walk along Main St. one day. I'm glad we decided to pop in, because this shop is full of items for yourself and as gifts. If I didn't have any willpower, I would be shopping here all the time. One thing happened at the store. A necklace hanging on the wall made me do a double take maybe a triple take. Why is that you ask? Because it was the same necklace that I had. A necklace that I had bought in a small boutique in the Marais where the owner had told me the artist of the necklace was a Parisian local. So imagine my surprise when I saw that same piece of jewelry in Vancouver. I love the simple design of Trois Petits Points and super excited that this shop carries her line. I left the store feeling nostalgic of my France trip. Maybe I should go back for an early birthday shopping day for myself... 15/100

This is a well curated store with something for everyone. I love the emphasis on quality craftsmanship and classic utilitarian items. I bought drinking glasses made from recycled wine bottles here -- love!

Solid 3.75 stars, wished they had more men's stuff but for the next 2 days, will be for men as there's some goodies for her Valentines gift. Organic candles, hand lotion, accessories....they do have a good line of boring but heavy duty knapsacks $100. Beside Noodlebox. Friendly service.

I have to say, the more I think about it the more I'm disappointed with my experience at Much and Little. I had been on the search for a good sandal, that would give me good support, be comfortable and look attractive. I was leaning towards Birkenstocks but wanted to look around for something less expensive because I am a student teacher and funds are pretty low. I saw a nice pair of sandals when I walked past the store window and thought I'd check them out. I got told all about them, made in Spain...Blah blah blah. They looked to be good quality and I wanted to support a local business, so I decided to treat my hardworking feet to what I thought would be good sandals that would last. Well I've had these sandals about a month (if even) and the straps are slowly coming off and the leather has stretched so much that sandals just flop around on my feet. I figured I would go speak with someone at the store about my little dilemma and see what could be done. The woman who had originally helped had been so attentive before that I thought maybe she would offer up some sort of solution, but I was wrong. When I showed up she was on her tablet and hardly acknowledged my presence. I then asked her if she had heard any feedback on the sandals I had purchased and she said no. I then explained to her my situation to which she basically responded "that's too bad" without an ounce of care or concern. I asked whether anything could be done and she told me not really. I asked if there was a way to contact the shoe maker to see if they could offer me something to which she suggested to google them. Overall, I just felt a total lack of care for my situation which is what I am most upset about. I have worked for small businesses before that offered amazing customer service and would attempt to help a customer who was having an issue with our premium products. I doled out $120 bucks on what I thought were at least half decent shoes, but quite honestly I have had more longevity out of $6 Walmart shoes. I definitely will not be returning to Much and Little and will not be recommending them to anybody based on their total lack of shits given!

To begin, I can say that the product selection is fantastic. Great handcrafted housewares and accessories. Unfortunately, I had a TERRIBLE experience with their brand of customer service. Backstory: As I purchased some items as a gift for a friend -- who then couldn't make it into town to receive them, I needed to do a return. I personally had no use for the items and the store is quite out of my way. But, given the selection of goods, would have definitely made trips back in the future. If it were a smaller purchase, I wouldn't care. But I had spent $50 there, so it was important to me. The tags were attached, the items were unused and unopened, and I had the original debit card used to purchase it. I was then told that they only offer exchange/store credit. Being that there's no return policy signage anywhere at the till, I found this was really unfair and bad business. "We have your money and you can't have it back. Gotcha!" I felt pretty frustrated. I really just wanted a one time exception made and would have been SO grateful for that. Waited for a call from the manager that never came. So I rushed all the way to the store to meet in person before close. And yet again, I was told no, and that "it's my fault for not asking before purchasing". COMPLETELY condescending attitude, and no offer to accommodate at all. Sorry, thought I was dealing with an honest and reputable business? Then they told me their policy is in the receipt. Which is ridiculous because you only learn their policy AFTER you've made your non-refundable purchase. And then they began to raise their voices at me. I manage a store myself where we're very willing to bend a policy if it means making someone happy. I'm flabbergasted by how little this small local business cared about protecting what is a fragile community reputation. So in the end, they've lost both my business and my recommendation.

This has to be one of the cutest stores on Main Street. I can never find anything specifically for me, however, I love the array of items and have picked up stuff in the past for gifts for friends. Good prices, friendly staff and a cute staple on Main Street. The fact that things are locally made earns points with me.

This is a lovely shop, no doubt...but I have found a lot of the same items elsewhere for a bit, to significantly cheaper. Yes, very nice staff and excellent selection, but there's just no need to gouge people.

My fave Mt. Pleasant shop! I have a number of items from Much & Little, and I love them all. The owner has great taste and selects beautiful things for her shop. Lots of little knick-knack housewear items, but I've always been more interested in the clothes, jewelery, and shoes. It's also a great place to pick up greeting cards and gifts. Some of the clothes are expensive, otherwise I'd buy them all, but I think this is the kind of place where you chose something carefully and wear it for a while. It's the antithesis of fast fashion. They've also started bringing in clothing lines from France, my favourite place to shop.

Such a wonderful little shop! Their carefully selected items all feel like they should be on display in a museum. The articles are unique and great finds. Had to hold myself back from buying everything!
