Wonderful dining experience. Generous portions, seasonal produce. Attentive and warm staff. The menu options are three or four dishes from a set menu. I liked that the ingredients are different in every dish so there really is something for everyone. Very honest prices for the quality and location.

Very interesting experience. Atmosphere is great - intimate and cozy. They offer a 7-course tasting menu (same for all guests). We really enjoyed the majority of the dishes & connected with the concept of “zero waste.” Each dish is very elaborate and includes several ingredients/textures. Just be prepared for a longer-than-usual wait time between courses and to be there for a good 3 (+) hours.

This place was the highlight of the whole trip (eat-wise). Their menu is a unique experience, really tasty, with vegetarian options, filling and for a great value. Book with time ahead if you are planning to come, or otherwise a late lunch might be your only option. The staff was very nice explaining everything and quick on the delivery. Also, it's a dog friendly place!

Low key, super affordable for what it provides, tasting course menu only (in the evening) cozy little Bistro, named after the Monstera ☘️. Had a blast 💥 here - from the atmosphere (8 tables total), to the drinks (great 🍷, great cocktail 🍹) to to food, with a focus on zero waste. Do book in advance, I'll be back whenever there's a new menu 📖 available!

Great place with delicious food and very welcoming staff. We came here for a lunch (3 course for 25€ each) and it was super. All dishes looked and tasted very good, no more words to add. I would definitely recommend to stop by and try their menu, paired with some nice Slovenian wine.

Wonderful experience! This restaurant offers a small menu with the best price/quality ratio that you could ever find in the area. The food was succulent, with very fresh products and perfect seasonings. The tastes were perfectly balanced and visually very nice. The staff was friendly and professional. We did not find any negative point, it was perfect.

If you are looking for an extraordinary food experience where you will get a burst of many flavours and food perfection then you simply just have to try it if you are in Ljubljana, Slovenia! Monstera restaurant is a really cozy place. The best thing is to leave it to the Chief. We took the 7-course tasting dinner menu and we were amazed! Food was freshly prepared and more than delicious, all the servings were sophisticated. The waiter gave us excellent advice about the wine - which perfectly paired with the food. They explained to us every detail on the plate and took us through a really pleasant journey of flavours. Bottom the line if you summon all the experience, cooking techniques, service,... all the offer it is really good price-performance (price-per-value/what you get). Definitely we will take another dinner and I recommend it to everyone who is a hedonist at heart and who is looking for the proper food experience.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We took the lunch menu which was amazing quality. The eggplant terriyaki is to die for. Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well. I loved the kombucha. The place itself is beautiful, but small. Booking a table should be done in advance. Service was great and fast.
