"Mitchell Deli is one of our favorite sandwich shops in town. Not only do they cure and smoke their own meats, but their menu has remained unchanged for years. Plus, the kid’s menu is streamlined in a way that only a parent can appreciate—grilled cheese, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese. The bigger mouths should go for the turkey avocado sandwich loaded with Benton’s bacon, or the Tennessee Tuna with pickled onions. Be sure to hit up their retro Sprecher self-service draft soda station for a root beer or grape soda.
