This unassuming restaurant offers a superb buffet selection priced by weight. The food was so flavourful and the staff and clientele alike so friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Pretty good food, especially since it’s buffet style in that you can choose from a lot of options and just pay based on the weight. The food is delicious and a tad expensive, but not for New York. They had great options for hot food (though I’m not sure how well the fried options hold being in the warming pan) and had a good number of options in the salad bar. The desserts looked absolutely amazing and there’s a pretty good selection of drinks as well.

Yummy Yummy in my Tummy! I don’t know too much about soul food but I am deeply in knowledge of food that touches my soul. I found this place because I was around the area and wanted something different. I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot and tried a bit of everything. Those crab cakes were crack. Oxtail was good. Jerk chicken was fire! Black eye peas, mac and cheese, some stuff from the bottom, stuff around the corner, back, front, upside down… all was good and different from your local take out.

My first time was Monday I ordered a big meal. When I got home as I was serving myself I found a hair black blond hair in my food. I spoke to one the workers. Speak to the owner he disappeared. Went yesterday not to complaint. But it be my last. Watch out for hair.

Came ALL the way from Ohio and the recommendation from friends did NOT disappoint! I only wish they had a bathroom for customers. I had my kids with me and we had to wait until we got back to the hotel. Other than that CHEFS KISS!!! It was my late mom’s birthday dinner, I was so sad. so the owner gave me a piece of her Favorite cake! I will FOREVER love this restaurant for its kindness and good food

I've been going to Manna's for 6 years whenever I want comfort food - a soul food place that's not a tourist trap. Had the jerk chicken with a bit of everything else from the hot bar and salad bar. There was stuffing that day, so I ate an early thanksgiving platter. Had a homemade lemonade. Total : $20 Not bad for a filling and yummy meal. I'm not sure I like the seating section at their new location; all the tables are under a huge tent on the sidewalk...just afraid it might be cold in winter. Most locals take their food to go, so I guess I'll bring an extra sweater when I go back. I think they still serve seafood boil, but I was in the mood for something else that day. I like the staff; discreet and friendly. I like that they give back to the community by organizing meals for the less privileged.

1st time visiting and probably going again tonight! Happy to see a security guard out front. The panhandlers easily deter me. But once I saw it was good I went in with no problem. The food was really good. I had rice, Mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, baked chicken, and can’t remember if I missed something. They have many options and a lot to choose from. Also, I love that they’ve done a lot for the community. My new favorite place😍 For two people it came to $38 and glad they didn’t have lines to add a tip.

Be aware I found a roach in the food! So did my friend.Just disgusting , please please save yourself. ( Bad batch 🙄) 🪳🪳👀 before you 🤢🤮 We should have taken pictures ... But As a New Yorker from Harlem trust and believe what I say .. BTW My friend and I did call the restaurant and they said sorry they were closing , and can we bring the food back so they can see .. great so we have to go back uptown / No thanks . You guys be safe and say 🙏🏽🙏🏽 before you eat. many blessings to you All
