Lost Lake is a cozy Capitol Hill diner serving classic American comfort food and creative cocktails in a dim, retro-inspired atmosphere, open 24/7.
"Lost Lake Cafe isn’t the best diner in the city, but it does serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner food until extremely late at night (midnight during the week, and 2am on weekends). It’s in what looks like a stone-lined living room from the ’60s, with big booths and a counter thrown in. If you want breakfast, order the corned beef hash or a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. If you don’t, you can’t go wrong with their basic burger and fries." - Aimee Rizzo
"While the food at Lost Lake is pretty mediocre, there is one boozy brunch thing they do well—quantity. The mimosa pitcher is truly an entire bottle of champagne dumped into a large vessel with a smidge of orange juice—and there’s a mule pitcher with vodka, lemon, and strawberry puree. They also do weekday happy hours from 7-8am that should appeal to early risers who want to drink like they’ve got the first flight out of Sea-Tac. " - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente
"This 24-hour diner tends to run specials on food and drink on game day, so diners can fill up on wings and beers." - Eater Staff
"This Capitol Hill classic has a robust menu of pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, huevos rancheros, French toast, and salads, all available for preordering and pickup (delivery via Uber Eats and GrubHub). For those who really want to celebrate 2021, there are mimosa kits and even some jello shot packs." - Gabe Guarente
"Lost Lake, a prominent late-night dining spot in Capitol Hill, Seattle, is celebrating its 10th birthday with a Twin Peaks-themed party. The diner features retro decor, a DJ, a photo booth, and specials like $3 cheeseburgers and Seapine Lost Lakes IPA." - Harry Cheadle
