Nestled in Rockefeller Center, Lodi is a stylish Italian café where art deco charm meets delightful pastries, expertly crafted dishes, and spritzes aplenty.
"This cafe in Rockefeller Center from the team behind Cafe Altro Paradiso and Estela feels sort of like an Au Bon Pain for the 1%—but it's one of our favorite daytime spots in the city, and it's perfect for any Midtown workers who have been begging the NYC gods for a place to eat dark chocolate croissants, soft boiled eggs, and frittatas made with mushrooms and taleggio." - bryan kim, willa moore, neha talreja, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah
"Lodi serves some of the most impressive Italian food within a few miles of Liz Lemon’s office. It just so happens to be located directly outside of Liz Lemon’s office. Standouts at this Rockefeller Center restaurant from the team behind Estela include the housemade ricotta and plate of plump anchovies with peppers and butter. Grab a table on the large patio, where your neighbor's huge shopping bag from their trip to the Harry Potter flagship store won’t infringe on your personal space." - bryan kim, sonal shah, kenny yang, carina finn koeppicus
"Lodi serves some of the most impressive Italian food within a few miles of Liz Lemon’s office. It just so happens to be located directly outside of Liz Lemon’s office. This place almost exclusively spotlights Italian ingredients, and a meal here pretty much always makes us wish we were OOO in Tuscany. You can get housemade ricotta, a whole host of salumi, and a plate of plump anchovies. We recommend grabbing a table on the large patio, where your neighbor's huge shopping bag from their trip to the Harry Potter flagship store won’t infringe on your personal space." - bryan kim, will hartman, hannah albertine, kenny yang
"During the point in which the group would have rolled out Amado Grill, Mattos Hospitality found itself amid unionization efforts from its employees from the team’s Lodi in Rockefeller Center, which was first announced in January 2023." - Emma Orlow
"Lodi, from the restaurateur Ignacio Mattos (Estela, Altro Paradiso), was among the first in the latest wave of high-profile restaurant openings at Rockefeller Center. Just about everything but this restaurant’s location — across from the Christmas tree — has been praised by the city’s food critics, and Eater’s Ryan Sutton recommends stopping by for a quick snack, pastry, or cup of coffee." - Eater Staff
