What a beautiful hotel in Chicago!! That’s why we went… to wander the gorgeous lobby of The Palmer House. Usually I’m hesitant to dine in hotel restaurants but we ended up trying out The Lockwood onsite. It was great! A very intentional menu so you don’t get overwhelmed with choices and the food we ordered had really really great flavors. After dinner, we took our drinks over to sit in the hotel lobby and listen to the live music. A classy experience overall and we will be back!

We stopped by for a drink and brownie on an extremely busy afternoon. They were understaffed and the wait time was really long. However, servers were trying to do their best. It was worth it, cocktails were delicious and the brownie was a piece of art.

We are staying at the palmer house and have eaten at Lockwood every morning! Only.complaint is that twice we've ordered eggs over medium and they came out over hard. Otherwise we really love it!! Highly recommend especially if you're staying close!

Lockwood is a straight-up gem, especially if you're looking to treat yourself to something a little more upscale. The vibe inside is gorgeous—like you're stepping into old-school luxury with a modern twist. I had the roasted chicken and the wild mushroom risotto, and honestly, everything was spot-on. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and that risotto had the creamiest texture I’ve had in a while. I spent about $50 for the two dishes, which was totally worth it for the quality and the atmosphere. If you're looking to impress someone or just want to enjoy a top-tier meal in a classy setting, Lockwood’s got you covered.

Tentative service even when they are busy. It is great convenience to stay at the Palmer hotel and have daily $25 credit toward the restaurant. Came here for breakfast everyday we stayed at the hotel. They know their food well. Everything was done with good timing. Absolutely delighted to have fluffy egg omelette and tasty muffin. The biscuit and gravy was delicious. The brownie pancakes were a treat. Beautiful lobby and dining area. Would highly recommend anyone to try their menu. Classic and wonderfully prepared.

Nice atmosphere. Hostess was lacking personality during breakfast hours. The breakfast sandwich was good, and the biscuits/gravy was flavorful. The coffee was not hot.

Just came across this place on Google maps and thought we'd give it a try. Did not realize it was in a hotel. A very beautiful hotel. We were there for breakfast and the food was very good. I had a stack of the brownie pancakes and they were delicious. The service was quick and friendly.
