Lekker Kkoncept Store

I am so glad we happened upon this petit magasin et café on our way to Sacré Coeur, and that our Dutch friends were curious enough about the name and the look of the place to suggest that we stop in for lunch. We had a terrific meal of sandwiches (as well as courgette soup in my case) in a simple but retro-stylish and intimate café. They had the most wonderful tangy mustard vinaigrette on a rocket salad...normally simple salad is not terribly memorable but this one was the exception! My friend adored her café latté as well, and we continued to enjoy the memory of the meal long after we left the café. The young women who own and run Lekker are very impressive. I just don't know how they manage to serve up such fresh and delicious food with such a small preparation area. It is mind-boggling! They also have a small selection of nice jewelry and clothing which can be perused while you wait for your food. I wish them much success with this terrific mélangerie (if you will!) Boutique sympathique, propose des biscuits, des soupes et des cafés dans l'arrière salle. La déco est très travaillée et les produits sont bien choisis, mais je n'ai pas vraiment accroché.
