Perched on a 7th-floor rooftop in Oberkampf, this lively bar offers stunning views of Paris, delicious cocktails, and a friendly vibe perfect for mingling.
"In general, it’s rare to find traditional NYC-style pizza in Paris. But that’s exactly what you’ll stumble upon at Vecchio, an Italian-American spot in the 11th. Order one of those before moving onto the pastas, like fusilli alla vodka or the lemony bucatini dish with shaved bottarga and a dusting of parmesan. Save any remaining stomach space for their take on a rum baba that’s made with limoncello-soaked brioche. Vecchio may move from their current location on the rooftop of Le Perchoir come April, so check their Instagram to confirm where they set up next—hopefully, they bring the throwback ‘90s playlist and their lively, raucous vibe with them." - Sara Lieberman
"It is impossible not to mention this rooftop restaurant commanding staggering views over eastern Paris as it was one of the first to appear on the capital's skyline. Never short on ideas, Le Perchoir has recalibrated to focus on gastronomy, welcoming some of the most fashionable chefs in residence." - The MICHELIN Guide

"Drinks With an Amazing View We admit, it's not the easiest place to find—the entrance is through an unmarked door on a bland residential street in Menilmontant. But once you do (hint: look for the velvet rope) and take the elevator seven floors up, you'll be rewarded with 360-degree views of Paris from the sprawling rooftop. You can sit at communal picnic tables or lounge on comfy sofas, but get there early (it opens at 6 p.m. weekdays) or late to ensure a seat. Beer and wine are your best bets. There is also a restaurant one floor below."
