Le Palme

What a great find to enjoy a beautiful sunny day in Puglia and swim in the Mediterranean Sea! We were greeted by a lovely lady at the entrance who welcomed us to look around to see if we liked to stay. The beach bed and lounge chairs were comfortable, clean and well maintained. Service was pristine and staff super attentive and polite. The whole place is clean and comfortable. Free parking and towels included with the lounge chair bundle. Worth what you pay for. We had a wonderful day and definitely recommend it! We will be coming back for sure!

We enjoyed our day celebrating my wife's birthday - Parking is free and covered for the most part if you get there early. Facility is nice and clean with good changing rooms showers and toilets and a nice restaurant. Staff were nice and polite - The beach mattresses look a bit grubby to be honest and I think a cover each day would freshen up the beds and make them more appealing for the $140 price of a mattress for 2 for the day - Ocean water was nice clean and warm - sandy beach - few rocks and Sargassum sea weed but nice overall - The club was quite busy and we were looked after well - food was decent - no real vibe - no music or band playing - very quiet but we were happy with our experience.

I find it hard to review this. On the one hand, its incredibly expensive: very overpriced*. On the other hand, you get a clean beach, we had good food, friendly staff and the club looks well maintained. *132 euros for two sunbeds, one pizza, one salad, one glass of wine, two cafès and a bottle of water. Come on, that is ridiculous.

Spent a day here the kids. Beach was great - beds were fine - service to the beds was good. Decent enough facilities in terms of showers and changing rooms. The food however was very poor. The kids food took quite a long time to come and was very overpricced and the burgers were basically burnt. My wife and I shared a prawn salad and a feta salad - literally some iceberg lettuce with some feta and prawns chucked on - appalling. Bear in mind you're paying no less the 27euros per dish. Its robbery. Taking into account how much it costs to have a bed there for the day its really outrageous that the lunch was so poor. Probably worth it but bring a packed lunch.

The views are nice and the water is pretty. We rented a cabana and for the price we definitely were disappointed in the service. The staff seemed to never look up or stop by for drink orders so had to go to the bar a lot to get our own. The bathrooms and showers are nice and good music though. Think I would try a different one next time or atleast get just a chair to save money since there is no service upgrade for the cost.

Few places are at a top level even if prices are not 5 star, so congratulations! Bathroom cleaning deserve a plus in my review. This is my favourite place in Puglia for a top class we. It's not a casualty if G7 meeting is coming here.

This place is unnecessarily expensive, in my humble opinion doesn’t worth the dime. The beds were comfy, but the beach was quite rocky and the water gets steep really quick. I would say it’s NOT child friendly at all. The day we were there it was windy, so the water got neck high 2 steps into the water, not to even mention the incredible amount of sea vegetation and gunk collecting at the shoreline of the Le Palme. Looking around seemed like there was the most of it compared to the neighboring beaches. So -even though I’m aware they can’t control the weather- paying a small fortune for a couple hours to lie in a sun-bed, without being able to even enter the water, was extremely disappointing. We would have left right away when we saw that we can’t even swim, but they take your credit card at arrival, before you see the beach, so… you are forced to pay anyway! Most staff seemed unfriendly and bored out of their minds as well, not the level of professionalism or service to expect for the price. Some positive: nice sun-beds (although questionable, if they are cleaning the pillows after previous guests, they were dirty, but for the price tag I would definitely expect clean pillows), free parking with roof… and that’s literally the only positive things I can come up with right now! PS. there is a much prettier, cleaner freebeach literally a couple of minutes walk north from this place.

We spent a day at this beautiful looking beach club, the beach was nice and the beach service was very good. What disappointed us was the restaurant and other services. For lunch we ordered a tomato with mozzarella salad , the tomatoes were green and the cheese looked very generic. (North American looking ), no flavor and very expensive 18€ (you can get this in any other tourist trap for 10) then we had a pizza with Fig and prosciutto , it was okay but the prosciutto was not the best and there was too much of it. Also very expensive at 20€. we really wouldn’t mind the price that much if it would have been extraordinary , but it wasn’t, and that’s the frustrating part. So before i booked i made sure they offered showers , hot water, and towels , because we had an event right after and they confirmed they did. , i also asked again while checking in. Guess what, no hot water and had to beg for a fresh towel. After 30 minutes of arguing , we got one towel for two people. And they told my girlfriend to use the same one from the beach that was used all day. In addition, she told my girlfriend to go get her towel herself at the beach after she ran out of the showers from the freezing water. The two hostesses were just very rude and disinterested in their work. Will we go back?, i don't think so. In Italy there are tons of lido’s for cheaper and better food. We were just unlucky and relied on others reviews.
