Lama Monachile

Very beautiful beach in the middle of the city. The view from above is amazing and the serenity when you stay near the water is amazing. I visited in winter, February, but the water wasn’t really that cold. There were some brave people that took a bath. For sunbathing I wouldn’t recommend. At least I like to sunbathe comfortably and this is not possible on rocky beaches. But I would still enjoy a bath.

Super famous beach in Polignano a Mare and it is wrapped by two amazing cliffs and the old town. The view is amazing from the Roman bridge behind it. Super clean water but in the summer period it’s very very busy, you need to get there quite early if you are planning to stay on that beach.

I visited the region and this little cute town outside the summer season but the views of the beach and surroundings were stunning anyways. I would definitely recommend visiting it on your journey to Polignano a Mare.

It is amazing ! Exactly like the picture online :) We went there in the afternoon and it is a perfect golden hour spot ! Just be careful with the rocks in the water, they make it a little bit hard and painful to enter but it's absolutely worth it :) 10/10 would recommend

Beach was okay, it is really rocky so water shoes are recommended. I came from Greece after 7 weeks, so for me the water wasn’t the best. Best time to go is in the morning, otherwise it is too crowded.

Sometimes, the best surprises come when you're expecting the least. I was prepared for a rainy, less-than-ideal visit, but the experience turned out to be anything but disappointing. Despite the weather, Lama Monachile’s beauty shone through. In fact, the rain worked in our favor, keeping the crowds away and letting us soak in the stunning views in peaceful solitude. It was a lovely and unexpectedly serene moment that made the trip all the more memorable. Saluti

The day I went was cliff driving, so many people were there. I must have picked up wrong day... But this town is so popular with natural beauty and the historical old buildings. Only 30 mins from Bari by train. Easy access and nice for a day trip.
