"With cafés in four major cities, La Colombe is looking to build a little empire—which makes total sense. The in-house beans are some of New York City's best, and the café itself is serene and beautiful. Locations vary in size (some have tables where you could totally pull out a laptop), and you can usually find a place to at least perch for a bit."

Google
This coffee shop has been a neighborhood staple for years, consistently serving excellent coffee with impressive latte art. The service is always efficient, ensuring a good experience even during busy hours. While the café is often bustling, there are quieter moments between the rushes. It's my go-to spot whenever I'm in the area—reliable, welcoming, and always worth a visit.

Google
Great coffee with lots of places to sit and relax. There are also a lot of options for small pastries and desserts. Good atmosphere and quick service.

Google
Even thought I came in when it was crowded the service from the baristas was great, all of them have positive energy and look happy. My drink was delicious, I got the Oat Nog Latte and loved it !

Google
Nice place to chill after lunch. Draft latte is good as usual. Fast service. Nit oo busy on a weekday afternoon.

Google
I love this location. The Baristas are really are great at what they do and very personable, especially the girl with the brown streak hair and glasses and the young red head girl. Best place in the neighborhood!

Gaurav Kalani

Google
Quick coffee, lovely ambience with food options. Seating limited depending on the time of the day space is available.

Google
I stopped in here to purchase a bag of coffee and asked for a few recommendations, I was given a few options and we narrowed down to one that I’d probably like based on other coffees I’ve tried. The customer service was exceptional and I would definitely visit again. Pricing wasn’t bad either and the bagged coffee includes a free cold brew or drip coffee.

Google
I had the Vanilla Latte on draft, it was very good. They had water, cinnamon, and simple syrup all on the side for free which was nice. The line was out the door but it moved very quickly and the staff was nice.

Mahshid F.

Yelp
Very nice and friendly staff. I tried the oat nog latte as their seasonal coffee and it was amazing!

Janel S.

Yelp
This cute little shop! It's close to my job. It gets the job done. The baristas are nice, knowledgeable, friendly. Pop by and check out the changing offers!!

Briana W.

Yelp
Great coffee shop! I'm really impressed with their iced coffee. They have good pastries and I love their chia pudding. The ambiance is nice and a good spot to go and sit and do work and have breakfast or a midday coffee. Service is very fast despite long lines.

Rachael M.

Yelp
I love La Colombe! Their oatmilk draft lattes (seasonal flavors especially) are delicious but I prefer more coffee in my drink, so offering the half tan and tan line drinks are a great solution for this. I got the tan line (mostly cold brew topped with the pumpkin pie chai oatmilk draft latte) and it was incredible. This draft latte has more of a chai taste than pumpkin but it's delicious! My friend got the half tan (half cold brew/half draft latte) and also loved it. Over the summer I got the tan line with the cereal milk oat milk draft and it was also delicious. Keep it going La Colombe! I love your coffee and the staff are also always very friendly.

Ylleana G.

Yelp
This was my first time trying a draft latte poured directly from the tap. It was yummy. The staff were quick to get the lattes out too! Overall solid experience, it's a nice drink to have when you're wandering around

Elizabeth X.

Yelp
Cute little location in Soho. Opens relatively early at 7am which I appreciate. Staff is kind. A few seats available and pretty open in the early morning when I came. I enjoy the draft latte!

Emmeline W.

Yelp
I see La Colombe at Whole Foods all the time... Never thought I'd visit bc their CA locations are in SoCal. My friend showed me this spot after walking all over Manhattan (yall New Yorkers walk so much and so damn fast.......!) to stop in for a break. Their nitro cold brew is so much better fresh (duh) and the perfect midday pick-me-up :-) HAZELNUT NITRO COLD BREW: The fluffiest, silkiest cold brew you'll ever have. It's like drinking a coffee-flavored cloud. Adequately caffeinated. Staff were lovely & whipped our drinks up within 3 min. Would definitely be drinking more coffee if there were more La Colombe locations around me~

Yelp
Seriously what do I have to do to get a La Colombe in Minneapolis? I came here twice during my trip to NYC and both times it was just amazing. I typically try to stay away from chain coffee shops but this place deserves all the hype. It is expensive, but it's worth it. I got their pumpkin draft latte and oh my GOD. It tasted so frothy and light and delicious. Not too sweet or bitter - just perfect. I immediately bought out my local target when I got home (they sell them in can form too) but the can isn't as good as getting it in store. I also tried their hot oat milk latte and again!!! Chef's kiss!!! I seriously loved it, so flavorful even though it was a plain latte. Only downside is that they don't have much in the food/baked goods department, but there are so many good places for that in the area that I can't really complain. This place is worth a stop folks.

Ellen C.

Yelp
Good coffee - oat draft latte is always delicious - but the cashier gave us major attitude. Otherwise there was some seating but overall not a huge cafe.

Christelle R.

Yelp
Every visit is a great visit. Anytime we're in the city, I make it a point to visit a La Colombe shop. Don't get me wrong, the bottled and packaged stuff (hello drafts!) keep me going otherwise - but there's nothing like the real thing with awesome service! For some reason, this location continues to be a favorite with bustling city ambience in the surrounding area, cool signage, sweet staff, and a great selection of espresso, snacks and more for on the go. If you haven't had La Colombe coffee before, what are you waiting for?!

Howard S.

Yelp
So I walked into this shop tonight. The place was empty. The lights were very bright. It was only 4 PM, but already dark outside. There were three barista types behind the counter. They had the most sour expressions. I asked for an espresso to go. One of them asked for my name. I hate giving my name away. I mean there was no one there. Between the three of them I am sure they could have memorized my face and eventually matched it with the order. I asked the young lady why she was asking for my name when the shop was empty. Her reply was "name please". I told her my name was "why are you asking for my name when the shop is empty". She made the sourest of sour faces. She walked away. I don't know why I am a jerk sometimes. I paid for my coffee. Drank it up. It was delicious. Five stars! And an apology!

Joi B.

Yelp
Whoa. La Colombe served me a sublime oat milk latte the other day that I still cannot get out of my head. I don't normally order lattes because I need my stuff black as night, strong as a super hero, but it was early evening and I needed only a little boost, so I thought I'd treat myself. It's a tiny little place in SOHO, more for a grab & go than to linger with a laptop. We rolled up with a huge order that the genial baristas magically prepared in minutes. It was incredible. My first time to a La Colombe and I now have another favorite coffee franchise on my list (my #1 is Gregory's). They have vegan goodies as well. I hear a croissant calling my name, as well as that salted caramel draft latte!

Vincy L.

Yelp
Wow, their nizza coffee bean slayed! It was such a nice morning boost. It was smooth, aromatic, subtle, and strong at the same time. It's good for both brew and expresso imo. Nice add to my coffee bean collection

Emma S.

Yelp
I love this place... I appreciate that they are open early, the efficient staff and the good coffee... but what kind of monsters stop carrying all things pumpkin spice on October 28th? Technically pumpkin spice season should go through Thanksgiving... but ending it before halloween? Cruel. Love their pumpkin pie chai draft latte (ordered dirty) and pumpkin loaf and don't know what to do without them.

Cheryl N.

Yelp
The oat milk draft latte is fire! Perfect balance of coffee, oat milk, and frothiness. While i love it from a can, nothing beats getting it direct from the tap. Always a good experience when I come to this location. If you are looking to elevate your latte experience, come here. You won't regret it.

Lucia P.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of La Colombe and try to visit different locations when I travel. I tried this location while in NYC and really enjoyed visiting. I ordered the draft oat chai and wow! So so good and creamy. Amazing flavor. Such a big fan. My partner ordered the draft latte and it was very tasty. The staff is super kind and the shop is small but comfortable with a few seats. Great music was playing as well. It's also in a nice location in the city! Definitely a great spot for coffee.

Alana K.

Yelp
I came here with my boyfriend on a Sunday morning for breakfast. There is some limited seating inside, and we managed to snag a table. We liked their drinks, but didn't care for the pastries. I had a hot coffee, which was strong and flavorful. My boyfriend had an almond milk latte. The milk in it was creamy and steamed really well. We tried their pain au chocolate, but were a little disappointed. There was barely any chocolate inside and while it was flakey, it wasn't very airy or light. Overall: get the coffee, skip the food.

Jen K.

Yelp
I normally LOVE this location as it's close to my hotel however this weekend has had a couple of RUDE employees. First morning- the guy talked to his friend for at least 5 minutes while I stood at register with a line forming behind me. Unprofessional!! Then today was the best -- after I ate my bran muffin -- I had the courtesy to put my plate on the counter for them to grab. However, the employee shouted at me to bring my plate BEHIND the counter to the basket. The smart ass in me came out, and I told him that since I wasn't an employee there, he could walk at the three steps to HIS basket behind the counter. They don't like women at this location. Do better, La columbe when you hire male chauvinist- you're business will pay the price ! Coffee isn't ALL THAT‍

Kiran Y.

Yelp
Yum mocha and good hot chocolate... Really liked the smell of the coffee when we walked in .. Smaller shop than other La Colombo shops but pretty good for a takeout ...

Hong Kim L.

Yelp
This place is my trusty coffee shop around the corner from my office when I need a caffeine boost for the long busy workday. Their coffee is so intricately roasted and damn delicious. How I wandered here since February was because I didn't want to make the 10 block trip to your usual popular go-to brands like Starbucks and Blue Bottle Coffee. This place was a vast improvement and exceeded my expectations. Every flavor I've tried: cold brew, oat latte, pumpkin spice and now the iced mocha latte are all fantastically delicious and gives an upright kick. So delicious and has made their products to the retail shelves where you can buy a canned pack even in Costco. I can't downgrade to another coffee brand anymore as this place has successfully spoiled me. Cheers.

Darya S.

Yelp
Wow, how I love the third-wave coffee movement that is taking over, and La Colombe is leading the way. Got a decaf oat latte, and it was so silky smooth! Their coffee is so crisp and full of body. I just love drinking it and enjoying that thick frothiness, not to mention their beautiful latte art! This location is a grab-and-go. There's a bench inside for those waiting for their beverage. Don't plan to come lounge here.

Jenn H.

Yelp
I love La Colombe. This location is fine. The clientele annoy me more than anything but that's soho for ya. Tourists and entitlement surround you. But the location is convenient, glad they've opened more locations.

Hsin-Yi W.

Yelp
La Colombe Coffee is one of my friends' favorite roasters. They are so into coffee and see coffee as an essential daily need. We had their Drip Coffee and Draft Latte. It was amazingly tasty and refreshing especially for the draft latte. The foam was so creamy on the top and the balance between milk and espresso was so right. We also bought dozens of their cans in order to try all the flavors next week at home. The decor was artsy but simple and the ambiance was cozy. It is definitely a perfect spot for morning or afternoon coffee. It was so pity that the indoor seating was unavailable currently.

Moon L.

Yelp
OMG PLEASE TRY THE STRAWBERRY MOCHA. It is limited edition atm and it literally tastes like wonderland. I love the foam on top too so I've been always on the lookout for frothy coffees. You will not be disappointed. This literally made my day, woke me up after two draining classes and ready to tackle the next class.

Dennis G.

Yelp
One of the best for craft coffee. Great location and vibes. La Colombe is one of the best coffee brands out. Highly suggest!

Ally D.

Yelp
The coffee taste good; The service is a little lacking; And that makes the price a bit high.

Annie S.

Yelp
The draft lattes with regular milk... SO GOOD. Can't get coffee that good anywhere else. AASKDJFKALSDFJLKASJDFALSDF SO GOOD. Please get it. I normally drink coffee black, but this is the only place where I make an exception.

Tim J.

Yelp
This place was on my bucket list but I finally got to check out this coffee shop as I happened to be near the store in Lower Manhattan. They had few options to choose from, but I went with other yelper's recommendation and decided to try oatmilk drip latte. I have always been a big fan of the blue bottle, but this coffee was as good as the blue bottle. If you are a big fan of blue bottle, try their coffee as well! You will also love the coffee smell in their store. Will definitely come back when I am around!

Min C.

Yelp
one star is too generous. worst customer service ive ever had in the city. Disgusting attitudes from the workers. amazing coffee shops around the area. Avoid at all cost.

David L.

Yelp
I love La Colombe because it is a Philadelphia brand that has expanded and made a name for itself up and down the East Coast. I was all too happy to see locations like this one start popping up in NYC. We visited before Covid so the atmosphere in here is awesome. They have a standing espresso bar that is very European. Personally, I prefer their cold coffee but you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely checkout one of their locations though. It's a nice alternative to Starbucks.

Lanny B.

Yelp
Great coffee poured here. Always best with an espresso shot dropped in for good measure. Sometimes there's a line of 10+ people out the door, but even that is easily braved and well-worth the wait....which won't actually be that long. And, you need coffee anyway and trying to find another spot pre-caffeine isn't likely to be super successful, so yeah, go here.

Janet L.

Yelp
One of two La Colombe locations I've been to regularly (the other is 400 Lafayette St). This location is less busy, so I prefer to go here. My problem with both of them is that they don't seem to know how to pour a draft latte?? Lately they keep giving me all-foam pours, which, when settled, comes out to half of the cup. Not worth $4.25. When I asked for less foam, they said it's just how it comes out of the tap. If it works like draft beer, just hold the cup at an angle??? What is being done differently with the tap or by the barista when they give a good pour? Surely it's not random? If you look at pics on the company website, a draft latte is supposed to be at most half foam and half liquid. No one would accept an all-foam beer, would they? It's sad because I really love their draft lattes (even the unsweetened canned ones taste too sweet), which no one else has, but I can't really justify $4.25 for half a cup.

L C.

Yelp
Currently my fav place to grab coffee. Everything I've tried (draft chai, oat milk latte) has been delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. Take all my money!!

Sandy L.

Yelp
Love the fact that they have lids for you to drink so you can go a big ecofrisndly without using the straw, but the do provide straws if you would like. This location been open for quite a while when I use to work in soho, but it's my first time trying their drink and it's great! I got the draft latte since my friend recommended to me, it is more creamy than a regular latte. I do like it but will add a extra shot if I could next time. Good cute coffee shop with seating areas

Izzy S.

Yelp
Got the oatmilk black and tan. I will admit it was pretty expensive, but I guess that is to be expected for a coffee in Soho. The drink definitely had a unique taste from other coffees I have had, but I really enjoyed it. I like the no ice concept. Would love to come back and have this again!

David J.

Yelp
The worst customer service and a complete lack of respect for their neighborhood. They allow their patrons to litter outside of their store, and refuse to keep the area clean. I have now asked twice for them to start cleaning outside of their store. Each time they've agreed, and each time they've refused to actually take on this necessary responsibility. Show some respect to a neighborhood in which you do (a lot) of business.

Iris K.

Yelp
Got their oatmilk draft latte and it was alright. I love oatmilk in just about anything but I have to say that it overwhelmed the taste of the espresso.

Elle W.

Yelp
I have so many memories of this place, from when it first opened in nyc with only one shop, to that time I casually sat next to troye sivan while waiting for my iced coffee (I texted my friends in real time but they didn't have a clue who he was...because apparently I am the only one that's mildly up to date w pop culture?) Come by for some tasty ex-hipster coffee made by current hipsters (is hipster even still a term now).

Maria S.

Yelp
Great coffee as always. One of my favorite coffee spots. Staff was nice and welcoming.

Ava B.

Yelp
Every La Colombe in the area, whether it is the vanilla draft lattes (oat milk versions are amazing) from Trader Joes, or the coffees on draft I get on the way to classes at their Lafeyette St. location is delicious. The care and creativity in their blends is evident in the taste so I don't mind paying a little more for a plain coffee as well. Long lines and small seating area but they can't control that and there is plenty of space to enjoy outside on a nice day. If you enjoy creamy and decadent coffee without a super sugary taste this is the place for you

Kate C.

Yelp
First time coming to this location for coffee. I got the Iced Oat Milk Latte and it was perfect! Would definitely come back for this drink. Staff was also very friendly and they seemed to be cautious and obedient with covid guidelines.

Emily T.

Yelp
Best coffee I've had in NYC so far! My boyfriend and I are both annoyingly serious about our coffee, and this cafe's creations taste just like the ones we make ourselves. High quality beans, smooth texture of the milk, and wonderfully topped off with latte art. We both ordered their regular lattes and were super impressed, we just wanted to keep drinking more! Relatively affordable and in a fab location. Very modern interior, limited seating so it's more of a grab&go kinda cafe.

Shaun V.

Yelp
Sleek, modern, and damn good coffee. I was intrigued by the exterior of the cafe, which is what enticed me to walk in. The staff are all kind and welcoming. The coffee itself is above average and definitely matches the price range. Whoever designed this SoHo branch put a lot of effort into it. I enjoyed my time here. Just be on a look out for your drink. Some lady took my cappuccino, but the barista was kind enough to make me another one. A must visit if you're in SoHo.

Keith H.

Yelp
My friend and I were walking around SoHo, and we decided to stop at La Colombe for some coffee. As soon as we walked in, it seemed like everyone was jonesing for caffeine: the place was packed! Despite the length of the line, we were able to order relatively quickly. I went for my usual Americano, which I thought was tasty and not overly acidic. Seating was quite limited, so it felt like we had to pounce on some seats once they became available. It's also a narrow space, so during a busy time with many people standing and seats in short supply, it can feel claustrophobic. However, the coffee was great, and I would come back in the future.

James R.

Yelp
Saw the huge live coming from here so I thought, oh, maybe good coffee is coming to NYC. Me and the gf got a cold brew and a cappuccino. The cold brew was fine. The cappuccino was ok. The coffee mostly tasted more of the roast than of the bean. Certainly not a craft coffee place where beans are paramount but the place was fine. Not worth a long line but worth getting if it is convenient.

Dana L.

Yelp
I needed some caffeine for a day of shopping in SoHo recently and I dropped by this place because it was close to some of the shops we wanted to check out. I actually had pretty high hopes for this place because of the high ratings that I had seen on Yelp. When we entered there was no line and we went to the front to order and were immediately rushed and I felt like they didn't care to answer any questions that I had about the menu. In all honesty, I don't even remember what I ordered because I felt like the whole interaction was so quick and forced that I didn't have time to think about it. I feel like if there was a line out the door or a huge rush I would totally understand this kind of customer service as it seems like a goal to get customers in and out with their coffee as fast as possible (which definitely has it's appeal), but I just felt like they could have taken the time to more thoughtfully answer my questions given that there weren't too many other people in the store. As for the coffee itself, I felt like it was pretty standard and it didn't stand out to me as anything amazing. Mostly the two stars is for the rushed customer service that we experienced. If you want quick coffee and you know what you want to order then it might not be a problem, but that's not my cup of tea, so definitely not one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever been to.

Neil C.

Yelp
Love the coffee here. I believe this is my first time visiting a La Colombe cafe which is popular in the Northeast. We ordered a couple of Oatmilk Lattes which were very tasty and not acidic. These are the real deal. Would definitely come back again.

Tim R.

Yelp
The Hype Is Real I was sceptical that a small coffee shop had close to 600 reviews and pushing a 5 star, but these guys deserve all the review and stars. I drink a lot of coffee and although I'm not a coffee snob and enjoy some of the chain coffee shops, I know the good from bad. With that being said, this place has some of the tastiest and well balanced drip coffee I've had in New York. Can't wait to stop by again when in the area.

Chloe S.

Yelp
Great coffee - cheap - & fast! Not an "artisanal" experience but who cares if you need that fix !
