La Bellezza Lille

Just finishing my meal here and wanted to make sure I didn't forget to leave a rating. I came late one evening and tried without a reservation for just one person late-ish in the evening but was rejected. I had read reviews of places here that refused one person reservations, so was dubious, but wanted a change from Flemish/French food from my trip, so booked online for lunch. The restaurant is huge and pleasantly you aren't rushed out the door or pressured to release the table and it was fully booked so I had wrongly thought they were simply rude. So I wanted to report my experience was far from that. The burrata al tartufo was very tasty, as was the limoncello spritz. At first primitivo a bit rough but opened out and paired well with the spaghettone and brought out the flavours. Tomato sauce was a little underwhelming at first, so was a little disappointed as that's the basic for every Italian restaurant, but with a bit more seasoning was fine, pasta was perfectly cooked though. Highlight however, was Maria, the waitress, she was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Definitely worth a visit, do book in advance.

Place is absolutely gorgeous. Made a reservation but still had to queue outside to get to the table which is weird. Staff was very friendly. Food overall was okay but the risotto was the worst I ever had. It was dry and not creamy and there was zero flavor. When we told the waitress after she asked how the food was she took it very personally and went into attack mode. If you do not want opinions do not ask for it or take them without going into defense mode.

Such amazing service. Best pizza I've ever had. Really enjoyed my evening here. A busy restaurant but the servers were so kind and attentive. Thank you so much

This is the second restaurant from the Big Mamma Group that we've visited, and it was absolutely fantastic. The pizza was out of this world, with the perfect taste of a true Neapolitan pizza. The pasta was delicious, and the service was top-notch. We came in with our dogs, and they were immediately offered water, making us feel very welcome. A special shout-out to Marco, who kindly let us in 8 minutes before the kitchen closed, despite his colleague's reluctance. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and such a pretty place. We came at night and good a great buratta, wine and mouse, but we did not like much the ossobucco and agnoloti. So we decided to come back to have the truffle pasta and truffle pizza, best plates ever!!! The tiramisu is also amazing! Make a reservation before coming.

Amazing ambiance and delicious Italian food! The pizza was just perfectly cooked. Edges were so cloudy and crispy as well. We’ll definitely come back for another pizza. I wish they offer more vegan choices. At least some vegan pizza options would be nice. Another point to improve is wrong allergen information on the menu. Bloody sundae shows no allergen info but the cream on the top tasted milky to me.

Great place, food is very nice. The QR codes menu are annoying and the staff was not the happiest to give us a paper version. Decoration is amazing.

Third time here. The food quality is really good and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely be back again for the truffle pasta for sure!
