"Krewe founder Stirling Barrett knows how to create an experience. Krewe is fundamentally a sunglasses store, but it’s also a hidden spot to have a coffee and just hang out. Like the city behind the brand, these frames are unusual, sometimes quirky, and beautifully crafted. Set aside time to visit Barrett’s plant-filled, showroom-style store and you won’t be able to leave without indulging in a pair of these special frames. Slow burners, indecisive shoppers, and general passersby can take a seat in the sunny, brick-walled alley outside for a coffee break. "

5 stars isn’t enough to describe my experience with Krewe! My wife and I each have a pair that we adore. The customer support team is incredible. THANK YOU KREWE!!

WARNING!!! Everyone considering to buy a pair of glasses or sunglasses should be aware of their awful customer service. Their glasses might look gorg and snag your attention but if something goes wrong will they have your back?! Just read the reviews, all of their one star reviews complain about their poor customer service. Really disappointed with my interactions with this company. I found a typo on their outgoing email providing their customers with an incorrect address. I kindly emailed them to let them know and their response was rude and curt. Most businesses would say THANK YOU for being this to our attention. Show a little bit of kindness and appreciation NOT KREWE the rudeness and lack of professionalism I was treated with makes me wonder how they treat their employees. It always trickles down from the top, poor ownership, poor management, poor salespeople, poor customer experience. I hope you can correct this while you still have a company.

I’ve had my pair of Krewe for over two years and am still in love with them! This store is s stunning and so unique. Fun photo opportunity’s too.

My son & I, visiting from St. Louis, were given the “royal” treatment from a lovely Manager and her assistant the moment we walked in the door @ Krewe’s Royal St. location! Outstanding selection of very cool, stylish eyewear. Beautiful building that’s been fully renovated. Thanks for the Southern hospitality!!

Google
Semaj provided wonderful service, and helped me choose a fabulous pair of sunglasses! Great quality, fantastic style, the best customer service - we love Krewe! Update: We recently returned to purchase prescription glasses and experienced the same level of friendly and professional assistance. Found the perfect pair of frames!

Google
The amazing quality and detail is unmatched by their spectacular customer service. I unfortunately damaged a pair of sunglasses and they were quick to repair them. I’ll definitely be a customer for life! 😎

Google
My husband and I went here to find some sunglasses for myself. I almost left because I was overwhelmed and I liked many pairs. Until we went upstairs and we met Ron- he was awesome. Great customer service and lots of patience. He took the time to help us and gave us his opinion what did look well on us and what didn’t. My husband and I both ended up buying new pair of sunglasses. Thank you so much for your help Ron.

Ron and Semaj were so helpful! We got two gorgeous sets of glasses. We love them! Thank yall

Yelp
These are some of the most beautiful sunnies in the world! I finally got a chance to visit the flagship location while in NOLA. I own their signature sunnies in black and wanted to figure out which confetti style suits me best. The staff were so sweet and pulled all the available styles. I tried on three styles.. now comes the hard part, the decision.

Yelp
Business with 11 years operating in NOLA. Great selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses- options to polarize. Prices range from 215-465, with FSA accepted. Locally owned, independent, created and designed in New Orleans. Friendly staff, particularly Semaj and Brandon, who provided exceptional service.

H M.

Yelp
I had occasion to shop at Krewe Eyewear in the French quarter on Royal street. Ron waited on me. I was very pleased with his helpfulness, especially because the store was crowded and others were waiting for help. He didn't rush me and answered all of my concerns patiently. Based on the help I got from Ron, I can heartily recommend Krewe Eyewear in the French quarter.

J B.

Yelp
Horrible service and overpriced glasses. I got so tired of trying to get customer support to call me back on various issues that I cancelled my account. Its like they are a bunch of rube Louisiana millennials trying to play in a grown-up world.

Kary J.

Yelp
I was in town with family for Mardi Gras and my prescription eye-glass wearing sisters were pulled into the Krewe store from the eyeglass displays. The eyeglass designs were awesome and the staff was lovely. We each bought a pair of sunglasses, different styles and they all rock! However, once we got home, my sisters discovered that it wasn't that easy to have their own optometrists put in prescription lenses because of the frame design so they contacted Krewe's customer service and Krewe had both of them mail back their sunglasses (Krewe covered the postage) with copies of their eyeglass presciptions and Krewe returned the glasses with the prescriptions lenses installed...everyone is HAPPY! Krewe did charge for the prescription lenses but their price was reasonable and they did a great job.

Yelp
I have a dear friend with very poor eyesight and she loves this store and she recently corralled me into stopping by. The frames all seem very high quality and she reports having numerous pairs of their glasses. Very interesting designs but not for everyone (I tried on a pair that she thought were great for me, but then I sent a photo to my better half she replied "oh no", and encouraged me to reconsider based on my age). they have a very nice showroom and upstairs its even nicer. Only downside is that everything is VERY $$$, so the tactic here is to sign up for the mailing list and pounce on their sales. Still even at 30% off they seem a little pricey for me. Very helpful staff no high pressure sales.

Yelp
Slid thru to this cute lil spot after seeing a billboard leaving the airport in May 2018. Mannnnn listen! Their specs are absolutely amazing BUTTTTTT expensive. What got me however was the experience. Every single person we came into contact was patient with my 50-11 questions. They explained the process of how these lovely handcrafted specs are made and watched me try on at least 10 pairs (all their suggestions) but I kept going back to the STL II Nylon. These babies are BAD! Matte frame with 24k gold? Yea, I will take them! Alas, I ended up walking out empty handed but couldn't get them out of my mind. I absolutely had to have them so ended up ordering them. They are SO pretty and people stop me all the time and ask where I got them from. I love sharing that its an artisan eyewear shop in the heart of the French Quarter. I will be returning to NoLa this year so Krewe will definitely see me again!

William J.

Yelp
I love the look.of these but they are designed for tiny heads. Maybe children? I'm left with $400+ sunglasses that fall.off of my face every time that I look down. Great styling but terrible design.

Tomas R.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for KREWE and I can't get enough of their sunglasses and eyewears. This review isn't about how gorg their designs are and timeless; however, it's another reminder on their customer service. Their French Quarter location is posh and you can explore their store and courtyard. No need to worry about messing up your pair as their warranty allows you to replace them free of charge. Keep an eye out btw for their semi-annual sales they hold!

Cecilia N.

Yelp
Not just sunglasses. Works of art. It was so hard just picking one! Their sunnies are beautiful!

Brett P.

Yelp
First off, I have become a huge fan of KREWE over the past year. I think it's amazing that Stirling Barrett (the founder of KREWE and member of Forbes 30 under 30) was able to create a successful luxury brand in New Orleans in just 5 years. I mean how many brands can say that Beyonce, Kendall Jenner, Meghan Markle, Gigi Hadid, and Lil Wayne rock their shades on the regular? As a local, I love that NOLA is the inspiration for all the designs and even referenced by the frame names (Poydras, Lafayette, St. Louis, etc.) While the sunglasses are expensive ($195-$415 depending on the frame) compared to other popular options, like RayBan, I believe the quality of KREWE's frames is worth the extra money. Each pair is handcrafted, comes with a lifetime warranty, and a FREE replacement should you damage your frames. There's just something special about supporting a local company and looking good in the process. I noticed a lot of reviews referencing poor customer service. I'm not sure if something has changed since then, but the customer service I experienced was phenomenal. Even though the store was packed with customers, I was immediately greeted by multiple employees. After trying on a few different glasses, I was approached by a young lady named Lucy who recommended a few frames and offered me complimentary Frosé (frozen rosé). Free booze, I'm in. After close to an hour of trying to decide between frames, another employee, Emily, offered her opinion and my final decision was made (the Orleans Windsor for those interested). If you've had a bad experience with KREWE in the past, I highly recommend giving it another try. I'm not sure if new employees were hired, but my customer service experience was exactly what I have come to expect from a luxury brand.

Yelp
I wouldn't advise anyone to order from their website at all ,I placed an order back on June11th ,2022 and carrier never got it delivered to my address ,I contacted the CS many times about it and all the time I get automated replies with the same exact thing or understanding really what happened. I contacted the carrier who confirmed that Krewe.com never filled lost package at all. The support I was expecting was totally disappointing and I wouldn't advise anyone of doing same mistake . Yelp
I absolutely LOVE the product design aspect for Krewe. If you are looking for a bargain this isn't your store because an average pair of sunglasses will run around $300. You know they are expensive because they don't put prices on them and they are sparsely arranged on the shelf. Design...impressive. Customer service at the store level not so impressive. I echo the others who said that when you walk into the store they can be a little standoffish. Many wealthy people DON'T dress the part so please get over it. Customer service from HQ is a completely different experience. I sent in my first pair for repairs and they hand write notes in the shipments. Recently I purchased two more pair on-line during a great sale (70% off for you bargain shoppers) and again they hand wrote a short note. If I owned Krewe I would secret shop all of my stores to ensure that the customer experience was similar. I understand that they cater to the fashionista and celebrities but please keep in mind that is a small percent of the population.

Megan D.

Yelp
The owner of this company made a large purchase from my business for their business then did a charge dispute with their credit card company 6 months later and kept the item. I have been unsuccessful in contacting them but would love to have my property returned so they can justify taking their money back.

Brenda B.

Yelp
After months of back and forth, Krewe replaced my frames. I want clients to know that keeping your receipt for as long as you have your Krewe sunglasses is essential to use the Lifetime Warranty and there are exceptions to full replacement qualifications. Check with Krewe when you buy your Krewe sunglasses on the Lifetime Warranty parameters. The sunglasses need to be kept in a hard case. I think Krewe sunglasses are unique and have great designs. I do get so many compliments on the six pairs I have purchased. I appreciate that Krewe in the end replaced my sunglasses that cracked.

Jas B.

Yelp
If you're the kind of person who would spend $300 on a pair sunglasses then this is a cool store to check out. I'm a bargain shopper so this is way out of my budget but I can appreciate the style. The store offers really interesting shapes and colors. I didn't like that nothing had a price on it and no one greeted us when we walked in. When I asked about the price the lady was really short with me. So even if I would have been interested in a pair of sunglasses, I probably wouldn't have gotten them just because of her attitude.

Robbie J.

Yelp
This is the coolest optical in the Quarter. KREWE is designed by a New Orleans guy and is totally reflective, as the name suggests, of the New Orleans experience. The prime location on Royal alone guarantees an authentic NOLA experience which is steps away from Jackson Square. The space is white, light and airy with juicy succulents as accents. The eyewear stands out uniquely and individually in this quintessential setting. The service is generous and helpful. KREWE is setting the stage for creative, local eyewear design and it's great to see it up close and personal as it happens. Apparently, the designers studio is upstairs. There are classic shapes with names like Conti, St. Louis, LGD that all pay tribute to their city. KREWE's treatment of mirrors on their sunwear is unsurpassed. Beautiful coloration and gradients with unusual combinations. This company is relatively new and I can't wait to see where they go.

Dave C.

Yelp
In this day and age of automated customer service systems and long wait times (seemingly designed to dissuade customers from calling!), I must say KREWE sets a high bar for other companies to emulate. Not only did the floor staff offer the perfect combination of friendly / informative / consultative, but the after-sale service was prompt and multi-channel (phone, text and email!). I'd had difficulty getting approval for reimbursement on our prescriptions and the staff diligently replied to each new requirement from our insurance company. Great people. Unique style. Go try a pair.

Barbara M.

Yelp
No stars. Despite repeated attempts to contact service rep never received a response. Expensive frames with little service.

Matt Z.

Yelp
What an exceptional group of people. While visiting the French Quarter, LA last week a screw of my my son's eye glass came off, the screw post itself also got crooked, so I was looking for a near-by optical shop and KREWE popped up in google. KREWE 809 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70116. When I got there I was told that they said they only work on KREWE brand but our was not KREWE. However they said they can let me use their tools and I agreed, but I was not successful in getting it done, so a girl named Natalie came to help, , long story short, Natalie, her other colleagues and me together.. finally we fixed the eyeglass. I was so pleased on their willingness to help. For me it only costed a Thank You and I am sold on KREWE for life.

Ann L.

Yelp
I had been following this store on Instagram for a while and finally got a chance to visit in NOLA. Very cute establishment; minimalistic and has a nice display of sunglasses. I was able to try on a few different styles and surprised at how delicate and weightless the glasses feel yet they are sturdy. I would consider getting a pair and looking forward to their next collection. The store associates were friendly and unobtrusive. They let me try on the glasses and didn't hover.

Christy S.

Yelp
I own 4 pairs of Krewe sunglasses and recently purchased their Orleans Matte Black Titanium +25k (reflective lenses) and wore them for the first time on a beach trip. After getting salt water on them while on a boat I followed the proper cleaning instructions and the reflective coating started to come off the lenses and now you cannot see out of them at all. Everyone else was wearing RayBans and they have had absolutely no problem with their lenses. When I reached out to Krewe about their faulty product they wanted me to pay them for a lenses replacement. These are brand new sunglasses and it is completely unacceptable that this company will not stand behind their product. What is the point of sunglasses if you cannot wear them to the beach?

Zack B.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE Krewe! Their product is unique and honestly looks good on everyone! I ordered 6 pairs for my groomsmen and they all love them (their girlfriends love them too). Cassandra in particular is the absolute BEST!! She is so kind and helpful. Her team even threw in some totes with our order and when my fiancé and I came down to NOLA from NY she gave us a mini party in the store. Could not recommend Krewe enough - the product, store, team, and quality are all top notch.

Noel H.

Yelp
I have purchased two different pair of sunglasses from Krewe. One was St. Louis in tortoise shell frame with 24k hardware and the other was St. Louis in a matte black frame, also with 24k hardware. Unfortunately, the frames of both pair of sunglasses broke during normal usage as I was taking them off after wearing them in the sun for a few hours. Each frame broke in precisely the same spot, (where the metal nose bridge screws into the top of the frame). This is undoubtedly a design defect which creates a weak point in the frame due to the fact that the screw hole reduces the amount of material that actually holds the frame together at that point. Perhaps this would not be such a problem if I didn't wear the glasses in the sun...but then again, they are sunglasses and that's where I'm supposed to wear them. The defective design plus heat from the sun is a recipe for disaster. Because I paid full price for the tortoise shell sunglasses, Krewe replaced the broken frame on that pair free of charge. However, when the second pair broke, and I contacted Krewe to get a replacement frame, I was told that because that pair was on sale when I bought them (approx. $230 as I recall) it would cost $88 dollars to replace those frames. I told them that this was obviously a defect in the design of the St. Luis frame which made the frame weaker and I felt certain that it had to be a chronic problem with that particular style frame. Of course, they didn't deny that they had other similar problems with that frame and I suspect they have plenty. I haven't bothered to wear the replaced tortoise shell frames yet for fear that they will simply break again like the did before and I was told that there would were no other free frame replacements after the first replacement. I am still debating whether or not I want to waste $88 dollars to buy a new replacement frame for the second pair because I fear that I will have the same problem with frame breakage again. After all, I've bought two different pair and both broke in exactly the same spot. That's 2 out of 2 (100%) breakage for those keeping score, and no small coincidence. It appears to me that Krewe is more concerned about making money off of the frame replacements than they are with customer satisfaction. My Krewe sunglasses did not have a lot of wear on them when they broke because I have many different pairs of sunglasses which I wear, day to day, including Persols, Tom Fords, Ray-Bans, etc., and, I do not treat my sunglasses roughly. I have no doubt that Krewe knows this is a problem and they should inform their customers of the inherent weak spot with their St. Louis frame style and let their customers make an informed decision about purchase. Had I known about the problem in the beginning, I would have never spent the money on those particular sunglasses and would have looked at other options instead. All in all, the Krewe sunglasses are nice looking but I'd never buy another pair with the St. Louis frame because of the problems I have experienced. If you are considering buying a pair of St, Louis frames I'd suggest you pass on that or be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Kay E.

Yelp
I just purchased the most unique pair of prescription glasses. Let me tell you why I'm so excited. I have a small face and it can be really challenging to find the right fit. However KREWE has more than enough of a great selection to try on. Love love love the glasses I purchased. Will not see anyone in L.A. with these on!

Laura S.

Yelp
Wanted to order glasses here since I love the frames. Great customer service. Quick and polite. Frames are exactly what I wanted. Wonderful experience.

Laurie A.

Yelp
Amazing handmade sunnies from our NOLA!! Super stylish + chic frames...I bought 3 pair + found several more I love! A little pricy but nothing new since Ray Ban + all the other designer shades are at the same price point. Definitely a cool little must see spot if your in the Quarter

David G.

Yelp
Forgot my sun glasses and stumbled into this place Dec 2016. Was helped to find a great pair of glasses and since then I have been a big fan of Krewe. I get the most compliments from these than any other pairs.

Julia B.

Yelp
THE BEST quality sunglasses I've ever owned. I think the lens quality is superior to Ray-ban, which were the best quality lenses I'd owned before Krewe. I now own 3 pairs and am very happy. They also have great customer service. During their last sale, I texted the number they have listed on their website to ask a stylist about which frames would best suit my face and I was so happy with her recommendation. Can not recommend this brand enough. Also love that they're a local business!

Paul W.

Yelp
This is a NOLA version of Warby Parker! All of their eyewear is their own brand, similar to Warby Parker. Except, this line is premium priced (costs 2x more). Is the quality better? I can't say. I did not dig that deep. They do have some good looking frames!!!! Service was prompt, but not terribly helpful. I have been wearing glasses for over 45 years and been to a LOT of shops during my lifetime! This one has a nice but limited selection.

Melissa J.

Yelp
I came here for the first time for their sample sale. I had been eyeing the sunglasses for a long time and was looking forward to snagging some at less than full price! The sale itself was well organized and run. I got there about 7:40am, the sale started at 9... I was 84th in line and got some nice sunglasses for both myself and my husband! I liked how they continually stocked the sunglasses so there was a good selection for the whole sale. The prices were good, considering the full prices were much more! I love the fun style and shape of their frames and different lens color options. The shop is long and narrow. It is airy and chic, like an art studio. They even have a little coffee shop in the back! Why not 5 stars? Difficult to find parking (even on a Saturday before 8am!) But I guess this location is good for tourist foot traffic.

Brad M.

Yelp
Pretty lousy customer service based on improper size of sunglasses; however, they finally agreed to work with me and exchange the sunglasses.

Chelsea J.

Yelp
While I do not own a pair of Krewe sunglasses (yet), I very much so enjoyed our visit to this store. Everyone here was super helpful. One salesperson even grabbed my friend's current pair of Krewe sunglasses and tightened and cleaned them for her without her even asking or hinting at it. Pleasant experience all around.

Daniel F.

Yelp
I had recently heard about Krewe from a friend who was saying nothing but amazing things about the brand, so I wanted to stop in when I was in New Orleans. We were promptly greeted by Emily who quickly showed off the store. She gave us a brief rundown of the brand and explained the history behind it. Emily invited us to try on optical and sun products and even suggested certain styles that would suit our needs. Emily and the rest of the associates that were in the store that day were simply amazing. This is one of the most memorable customer service experiences I've ever received, which is why I ultimately wanted to pick out a pair for myself and my friend. I would recommend anyone who is in the town that stop by and try on some pairs.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
I have owned multiple pairs of Krewe sunglasses over the years and I loved them.... I had the same problem as Christy S. years ago and they replaced my lenses for free... still have those glasses. So, when I needed optical lenses, I went to Krewe... after 2 years of sitting on my desk one of the lenses started to become blurry because the coating was coming off... I paid 370$ for these glasses...... but I got the frames on sale, so they would not honor the warranty (the lenses were not discounted) ... they wanted to charge me 75$ to replace the lenses. Alas, goodbye Krewe, you had stellar customer service and you still advertise like you do... but it is not true. They do not stand by their products and so I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I also say of the three products I have owned 2 of they had a lens malfunction within the first 2 years..... my husbands ray band put up with much more for decades before he breaks or looses them! And my Mom's 20$ reading glasses also last more than 3x longer than my 400$ ones from Krewe. Sad

DeAnna E.

Yelp
I love shopping at Krewe! They have locally designed and manufactured sunglasses, with style that you won't believe--Cat eyes, mirrored lenses, and colors too, all named after streets in New Orleans. They custom fit them for you in the store. Beyoncé and other stars have been seen sporting these shades, too. The only drawback is that they are a bit pricey. Buy Krewes and look like a star! (See my profile pic.)

Josh C.

Yelp
Great experience, stylish shades- women working there were extremely helpful and patient, offering good advice, perspectives, etc. also important to support locally owned spots like this- definitely check it out!

Leslie N.

Yelp
Standing for 20 minutes while other younger hipper customers were attended to and we were not acknowledged. I'm a regular customer. Very offended.

Penny G.

Yelp
Please don't find this place. I love KREWE and y'all are just gonna make their prices go up. But I love so much about these guys. Louisiana business owner from SMU. And the styles are amazing. They also really take care of their customers. I love y'all.

Dasha C.

Yelp
The worst part of my experience with Krewe is that my first purchase from them was for eyeglasses as opposed to sunglasses lol. I just started having to wear glasses in my thirties so needless to say I wasn't thrilled. But I found the nicest pair at Krewe! And so unique. Excellent service. Sturdy glasses. And I get so many compliments. Can't wait to get some sunglasses now.

Lily L.

Yelp
I live in the French Quarter. Saw this new good looking shop. I had a new favorite pair of sunglasses that needed a repair. So I went into my local shop. We locals complain about how New Orleans is changing. My experience in Krewe du Optic is the perfect example. The employees were in a cluster conversation. How annoying of me to interrupt them... even worse, i asked if they could repair my glasses, (it needed a little adjustment) . Answer ONLY IF YOU BOUGHT THEM HERE... uh oh game over. Thanks neighbor. I won't be back ,even though I am an obsessed sunglass person. What an unfriendly, un- New Orleans , sad little experience. Oh they have nice glasses, very trendy, very expensive . The service did not match the prices. Yes I only needed a repair That time!, but I am a sunglass fanatic and a near neighbor. I have a business where my customers ask for recommendations for everything! Needless to say I steer them to places that have that good New Orleans feeling. That would not include Krewe du Optic.

Alvin D.

Yelp
4/5 looking good i own a few pairs, so i guess i'm a fan, huh? it's a strong brand. there's a lifestyle story that you want in on, and i can be all about it. whether or not the actual style/shape matches the name (what does LGD look like, really?) these look good. the store itself is clean - the coffee in the back kinda completes this idea that you can have a casual browse, maybe all you pick up is a latte. they have hip succulents (no, they are not for sale) - walking in here is like imagining yourself in a magazine spread. there are some straightforward ones that meld into your look, and some really funky ones that make your look. so if i'm so sold, why not 5 stars? well, it's a steep price point, friend. you likely have some throw-away glasses (you know, the cheap ones that if they fall, get scratched, no big) and maybe you have a nice pair. i'd say these run at a price that is above average for the "nice pairs", so it's definitely a treat purchase. but! if you live in the area, it seems that they are starting to do an annual sample sale. i recently snagged a pair of the black, polarized LGDs for with more than a 60% discount - so at that price point it's actually a great deal for a pair of polarized lenses (which, necessary driving uptown along magazine around sunset). so if you're looking for a pair that you're likely to damage at jazzfest, probably not this. but if you're looking for a cool, functional souvenir or a swanky pair of eyecandy, go for it.

Matt M.

Yelp
Great variety of top-quality, unique frames with Louisiana roots. Love the LGD BENGAL. The location, trendy inside space and super friendly staff are all added bonuses! Plus, there's delicious free coffee and KREWE-zies (KREWE koozies) in the back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Laura Y.

Yelp
I walked in on a whim and absolutely fell in love. Did you know Byonce wears these?!?!? Courtney and Emily are phenomenal, so friendly and helpful. I ended up buying two pairs I absolutely love love love. Thank you so much Krewe!

Anne H.

Yelp
Return process has been horrible. Ordered online, went to store to exchange but was told they have to send order to HQ and HQ will send the other sunglasses. Couldn't do exchange in store. That was 11 days ago. I've emailed twice to inquire with no response and called customer support phone number but can't get to a human. Been called the Nola store this morning but no answer either. Very disappointed with their customer service.

Cynthia M.

Yelp
What a cool store! I am a New Orleans local and love that this little haven exists in the heart of the French Quarter. The staff offered me champagne and helped me find frames that were absolutely perfect for my face. Bless her heart, she must have went through all of the frames in the store! I am very particular. Really thoughtful design and the best customer service I have ever experienced in a retail store.

Jeff P.

Yelp
I am a New Orleans resident and purchased a pair of sunglasses trying to support a local business and initially I really liked them. I wore them fishing once and got some saltwater on them and the lenses de-lamented and became distorted. I had them for a while and no longer had the reciept but thought I would take them to the "flagship" store in hopes to get new lenses, not for free, but just because I like the frames and they were quite pricey. The first lady I spoke to about the problem asked "If I had tried to clean them?"... Silly question, but when I explained that yes I had and it was not a cleaning problem but that the lenses themselves were distorted after getting wet with saltwater spray from riding on a boat in them, her solution was to get the manager. She arrived and when I explained it to her, she said "salt water is a problem" and then when I explained I no longer had the receipt but the glasses were in the original case, she acted as thou the might be stolen and told me that "I needed to call their customer service line but it was very unlikely they would be willing to help." I was trying to BUY new lenses. Her accusatory tone and unwillingness to help left me flat footed, annoyed, and with a very bad taste in my mouth. I had purchased a pair of Goodr sunglasses in the mean time for $25 and to tell the truth they are higher quality, more comfortable, and have better lenses... My recommendation is buy Goodrs in every color and still have enough money to go out for a nice dinner after versus buying sunglasses that can't get wet and then be treated like a criminal when you try and have them repaired. It's to bad, as I said living in New Orleans I always try and support locally owned businesses, but this is one who are on their own!

Yelp
I went into the FQ store for first time yesterday and almost left immediately but wanted to try on some of the glasses I had been looking at online. First off, why are there so many people working there who seem obsessed only with following you around to clean the glasses you try on? Nobody asked me if I had any questions and the girl I asked pricing info from a couple times (since prices aren't listed for some beyond strange reason) seemed annoyed every time I asked her how much something was "ok I'll have to go back and look". After a couple times of asking her, I just resorted to using my phone and doing the work myself which is total BS considering how many employees were in the store. By the way, I still purchased 2 pairs yesterday but it was with no help of store employees. Stop cleaning for a second and pay attention to the people spending money. Also, put the prices on the glasses. This store isn't high end enough to withhold that information

Yelp
Purchased a pair of sunglasses from this place several months ago. The lens scratch incredibly easily so when I noticed a small scratch I took them in for repair because there is a warranty for normal wear and tear. The clerk behind the counter said it would be two weeks and didn't mention at all that there would be any costs associated with the repair. I called back two weeks later and the clerk said it would be another two to three weeks and that they would call me. Again, no mention of cost. I was very upset but waited three weeks before calling again because, of course, I didn't hear from them. The clerk said, not only have they not started repairs but that I will need to pay $60 to get them repaired! Are you serious!?!? What did they do with the sunglasses for more than a month! They said they sent an email but why they didn't call or mention it when I called is beyond me. I would not recommend sunglasses from this establishment!
