We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The calamari was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The caprese salad, however, was just okay; the mozzarella seemed a bit stiff and lacked freshness. On a positive note, the spaghetti with meatballs was also fantastic, with rich flavors and hearty portions. Overall, a good dining experience with some standout dishes!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and not too noisy atmosphere. The food options are limited but what's available is good choices. The calamari and shrimp appetizers were excellent. The freshly made pasta with marinara sauce was great. We were celebrating a birthday and the chocolate gelato was complimentary. I'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a late Valentine’s dinner with my husband this evening, and il Giallo knocked it out of the park! From start to finish everything from the appetizer meatballs, and focaccia, to the chefs special lobster ravioli was something to rave about. Service was top tier as Pam did not miss a beat. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

First timers here. It started a little rocky when we were seated in the bar area, in spite of having a reservation. The chairs were lounge chairs with a reclined back - good for drinks and conversation, not for dining. But after we decided to accept the awkward seating, it was all great. Service was prompt and attentive. I started with a Caesar salad, with white anchovies added (only $2 upcharge). We both had chicken parm. Pounded flat with tomato chunks in the marinara. Very tasty and a large portion. It doesn’t include pasta (good for me since I avoid carbs) but my wife added a side of pasta and loved it (only $8). Their pasta is homemade and you can watch the pasta maker for quality entertainment. Savannah was a stellar server. We will return, and look forward to a five-star review if I’m seated in a big-boy chair.

Highly recommend!!! The food is absolutely delicious! They so love what they do and you can taste it. The service was top notch! I have not one thing bad to say about this place. Our experience was amazing. We will be going back.

Virginia was our server and she was amazing! Food was spectacular as well! My wife and I split 4 appetizer portions of the different pastas and they were all fantastic!!

Had a big group reservation to celebrate birthdays and was very pleased that we were seated in a private dining room without requesting. Perfect! We then had the pleasure of meeting our server, Savannah, who was outstanding. The appetizers were delicious - focaccia bread, Caesar salads, calamari and several other items. As an old friend of owner/chef Jamie Adams, I was familiar with his Italian dishes from our visits to Pricci and Veni Vidi Vici years ago. Jamie was at his French restaurant that evening so disappointed we didn’t get to reconnect. Everyone in our party was pleased with their dishes - veal chop, fresh pasta, Chicken Parmesan, special was Osso Bucco with risotto which was delicious but was surprised at the price of the entree. Several deserts were very good. I was excited that Chef Jamie’s still famous tiramisu was on the menu as it is the best I have ever had! Overall an outstanding dining experience and hope to return soon. Worth the trip from our location in Old Fourth Ward to Sandy Springs.

Really great overall experience. The food was incredibly great, as well as wine suggestions. We didn't have reservations, so we chose the full service at the bar, which didn't disappoint. The host was confused about table wait time: at first 45 minutes, then almost immediately, then in 15 minutes, and lastly, it is ready now. All of this within a couple of minutes, I kid you not. It was annoying as we had just ordered drinks at the bar so there we decided to stay We'll come back for the full experience. Octopus appetizer was very good. Veal with pasta amazing. Tab can quickly ramp up. We were a bit surprised with the final tally having shared and entree and a not too expensive bottle of wine. It was totally worth it, just not a place we can come a few times per month like we'd love to!
