Hotel Würzburger Hof

Absolutely the best hotel in Würzburg. It’s one of those old fashioned places where everything is super thoughtful and has a real human touch. There’s wine to receive you when you arrive and super strong hot showers and delicious breakfast buffet. There’s also a really nice mix of modern and antique furniture and decor. 100% would recommend!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Wurzburger and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They allowed early check-in for us as we were tired, which was as lovely. All staff provided helpful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. The room was spotless, spacious with modern decor and comfortable furnishings. |One of the highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring, with major attractions just a short walk. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend t staying there. Really loved the entire stay. Thanks

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed how quaint and traditional it is. When we checked in we were immediately given an upgrade and a complimentary drink. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast in the old breakfast salon with white tablecloths and Rosenthal breakfast service. It was a short walk from the hotel into the centre of the town. Highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights in this very classy hotel. We loved our superior room and all the beautiful furnishings. |There was a fan in the room to keep us cool overnight. |We did not find the mattress or the pillows very comfortable enough but this is down to individual preference.|A delicious free glass of wine was given to us - nice touch.|The hotel is surrounded by shops and cafes.|I can’t believe that shopping is so great in Germany compared with the UK. So much choice and good prices.|Trams and buses stop right outside hotel so this made our stay very pleasant though we still did over 12000 steps a day!|It’s a beautiful town and people are so friendly.

This was the best hotel I ever had! Very big, luxury rooms, big bathrooms, comfortable bed. Sparkling clean. Perfect location. Amazing breakfast.

Not quite as grand as it looks in the main photo, but still an excellent hotel with a range of quirky and comfortable accommodations. We were in an attic suite, with enough space to stage a ball. Attentive service and a good welcome. Location fabulous for everything in the city.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were very good, served in a very elegant setting. We had a junior suite (Alt Wurzburg) with two balconies overlooking the town and was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious.

Upon check in we were informed our room was still occupied and would not be available to us (previous guest became ill and didn’t check out). We were informed of our new room would be a standard room, we booked a superior room. I specifically booked the superior room for the space and I said as much. I was given a brush off by being told the new room was lovely and they reduced our room price….. well, the new room category was a downgrade so of course the price was less. I am sure the look on my face said I wasn’t thrilled because next the said they would give us breakfast for free. |I understand the guests didn’t leave the room but a room upgrade versus downgrade should have been offered. |The room was quite small but decorated well. All the amenities offered were of nice quality. |We were on a busy street -with the warmth and noise we didn’t sleep. That isn’t the hotels fault- I’d avoid rooms in the front if that’s a concern for you.|The breakfast room was lovely. The buffet offerings excellent. | |
