Hotel Nizza

I booked this as just a quick, affordable one night stopover close to the train station. Was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. Spacious, clean, and personal homely feeling. Staff were all really kind, and accommodating. I originally booked without breakfast, but changed my mind when I saw the spread :) Short walk to the main train station, and the rest of the city is also very accessible from here. Close to the red light streets, but always felt safe even walking around at night.

Very nice hotel with a personal touch in each room furniture and decoration is retro chic but very well kept. The rooms are spacy and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Also it’s not your usual hotel breakfast, but many nice homemade spreads, tasty cheeses and cold cuts. I’ll be happy to return next time I’m in Frankfurt!

Very nice hotel, charming, clean. Nice breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Hotel was being locked during the day&night, due to its location I guess; which is totally ok and gives the feeling of safety. Would love to stay there again. And a charming small terrace as well on the rooftop :)

Great place in the center of the city. Easy walking distance to almost all interesting spot in the city. The area is full with all kind of restaurants, cafes and bars. The hotel is clean, and beautifully designed, each room is different and some are with bathroom, some are not, but the bathrooms located in each floor. In each Flore there are only 4 to 5 rooms, so the hotel is a small one. The rooms are big, with large windows and convenient.||It has a feeling of a family hotel, the staff are really nice and helpful. Breakfast is one of the best, fresh and unique... like at home.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've stayed at the Nizza. It's become more spartan over the years, and lacks many of the amenities one expects these days. There's no kettle, no hair dryer, no bar soap, no extra pillows. Breakfast used to be included, but there's now a charge. The floors are hardwood with no carpets, so you hear footfalls from above. |After all this, you may wonder why I keep staying here, and you're right! But the rooms are large, with high ceilings, and tastefully furnished.|The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and there's a beautiful roof deck with flowers and tables and chairs. It's just got a really special atmosphere that's hard to define. I love the Nizza!

I've stayed at Hotel Nizza on two separate occasions during a business trip to Frankfurt. I've stayed there thanks to the recommendation of a local friend as I wouldn't have found Hotel Nizza on my own really (or probably considered it even if I've found it). ||||What can i say:||||> it's refreshingly different from the standard corporate hotels. ||||> (Really) big rooms with old furniture. Very homely feel as they only have a handful of rooms||||> best rooftop hotel terrace with a great view for a sundowner||||> great location, close to places like Maxie Eisen and of course the Main river||||Unfortunately, they've always been fully booked on the last occasions I've looked them up. If you find a room available, don't hesitate to book.

The hotel was not chosen by us (my wife and I) and was a bit apprehensive based on some of the photos online..but the reviews looked good, and happy to report our stay was pretty good. ||||Our room was on top (4th) floor overlooking the street, and no noise during the night. The bedroom was very large but sparsely furnished. I'm all for art deco but felt that it was a little bit of an excuse for laziness - dis-repair on the sofa, and a couple of random items not in theme (such as tin rubbish bin and non-period chair). Bathroom was very small but clean and functional - looks like renovated not too long ago.||||Breakfast was simple continental style but very fresh and tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful

This was my second time staying at the Nizza, and I was so happy to return. The rooms are large and comfortable, if extremely basic. (You need to ask for a hairdryer at the front desk and bring your own shower cap, etc.) Some bathrooms are tiny, others quite large. Ask for a room facing the back, since facing the street on lower floors can be noisy. The staff is extremely friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful in any way possible (more so than in many 5-star hotels where I have stayed in the past). And the breakfast is absolutely the best -- fresh, imaginative, creative, with something different every morning.

Would definitely stay here again! If you aren't fussy and like old, well-maintained hotels with character, personality, and quirk, then this place will be right up your alley. Our room was clean, had a fan and hair dryer provided, and the bed was comfortable. The whole hotel is full of nice little touches (not mention SO many plants!)--there's a bar, a common area rooftop patio and downstairs patio, and the breakfast room is so cute. The breakfast itself was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had and well worth the money, and the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The location is perfect--close to the main train station but also a fairly quick walk to the main square area. There are tons of Turkish kebab restaurants right down the street, and several are open late night. Overall a very pleasant stay. Hope to come back someday!

nice Hotel near the Station in Frankfurt, funny area. Kind of arty-basic Hotel, good taste rooms, not like a Standard place. very comfortable. breakfast was okay. it seems that in summer there is a nice terrace, also for breakfast. next time then... good place to come back. Service is friendly.
