Hôtel Grand Amour

The front of house made me feel loved and welcome at all times. Manu, an icon, switched my room to accommodate my request for a bath and provided love 🧡 and humour. I was overwhelmed with work and their care was exactly what I needed at the end of my day. Ines in the restaurant was great too. I think the staff here really make the whole hotel.

We had an outstanding time in Paris and it is all thanks to the Grand Amour Hotel. Right as we first walked in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and attentive staff who welcomed us to the hotel with open arms. All of the staff there go above and beyond for their customers and it’s clear they all care about their business and take pride in their work. We were always treated like a special guest and shown kindness! The hotel is situated in the perfect location for those looking to be close to everything without being somewhere crowded. The area is quiet and a walking distance from hundreds of places that offer delicious food, but what’s even better is that the restaurant with a fantastic selection is located directly in the lobby! We ate here almost every day, and got room service so frequently, because the food here was just so delicious! The crème brûlée here is a MUST try - it is so rich and flavourful, it was arguably the best one we had in Paris. If sweets are not your thing, I suggest the grilled squid - the texture and quality was unreal and it was paired and seasoned really nicely. As for the rooms, there is beautiful vintage decor that make for a stunning ambiance and aesthetic. Your room will feel like a museum - they are so well done and decorated, we felt like we could live there forever! The lady who came to clean our room was such a sweetheart- she was always checking on us and kept our rooms immaculate. She also went above and beyond to help us in any way she could. We felt totally safe here because there is security cameras on every floor and the hotel is staffed 24:7, so we never had any issue with security. All in all, we will MOST DEFINITELY be returning here on our next trip to Paris, and I would highly recommend anyone staying here make Hotel Grand Amour the place you stay for your vacation as well.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant in Paris. Despite repeatedly requesting a different table due to the overpowering stench from the nearby toilets, we were denied and urged to stay seated. The staff displayed arrogance, and the food was disappointingly subpar. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

Cool ambiance, delicious drinks, but they placed us, in December at -1 C, on an outdoor terrace without prior warning when reserving! There was a wall heater, but definitely not enough to keep minimally warm. No blankets and no apologies either… so we ended up dining in our winter coats and got out as quickly as we could! And service was slow, absent minded.

Menu choices limited. Decided to have breakfast on one morning of our stay...the service was abysmal. Nothing was taken down, and the waitress kept forgetting to deliver specific items that are included with the French breakfast. Twice we had to request pastries and juice. They refused to cook eggs. Staff were surly, except for the guy on reception when we arrived. Upon departure, we had had five hours spare. Staff were reluctant to store our luggage. They did, but not in a secure location. Wanted to order the knickers....apparently unavailable (same in Pigalle last year) All in all, prefer their sister hotel in Pigalle.... Staying in Nice in May...hoping for a better experience.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast. The place looks cute, decoration is lovely but the service is absolutely terrible! The whole staff stands behind the bar instead of taking orders and serving people, the service is extremely slow, they forget your orders, you need to keep reminding them, it's just a mess! The food is good but very small portions. The English breakfast is nothing like the actual English breakfast, it's basically 2 fried eggs and one thin slice of bacon, no beans, no mushrooms. The fruit juice is very diluted. I expected a lot more from a place like this but it was just a disappointing experience.
