Handcrafters House is an absolutely wonderful sewing and quilting shop! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced quilter. The fabric selection is beautiful and well organized, with high-quality materials and plenty of inspiration. The shop always feels welcoming and you never feel rushed, and the staff are always willing to answer questions or offer advice. This is truly a gem for anyone who loves sewing or quilting. I can’t recommend it enough!

I took my sewing machine into Handcrafters House after having an issue that turned out to be total user error 😅 The team were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. They quickly resolved my problem and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing. Such a friendly place with lovely people who know their stuff. I would definitely recommend! I am going to sign up for a sewing class next!

I have been doing dressmaking with Terrill and I have learnt more in a few months than in any other sewing class I have done before. The classes are fun and allow for all levels of experience. It's great to sew with a group while making garments that fit properly and using my own choice of fabrics.

Excellent range of fabrics of great quality and variety. Plenty of packs ready cut, plus layer cakes. Classes available. Definitely worth the hour drive from Rockingham.

I did the dressmaking class with Terrill these last three weeks. I am soooo appreciative! I feel like the penny has finally dropped on making pattern adjustments to my measurements. Terrill explained and demonstrated things very patiently and effectively, was enthusiastic and listened well, and was so responsive to my questions. Thank you for starting this dressmaking line of classes with Terrill - I'm looking forward to the next one!

I am new to sewing and the ladies at Handcrafters have all been so nice and lovely to me and nothing is too much trouble. They even went above and beyond and ordered in fabric for me. I love my weekly sewing classes and Julie has so much sewing knowledge.. I love walking around the store and admiring all the fabrics and the accuquilt dies!!. A must visit for all your sewing needs.

Visiting Handcrafters House has been my treat to myself whenever I’m in midland for years. The store is large, well stocked and well lit with lovely fabrics, patterns, sewing machines and kits. The walls are hung with gorgeous, inspiring quilts that showcase the fabrics available and the skill of the staff. Lately I’ve been attending a weekly sewing group there hosted by the lovely Julie. Gee whiz it’s good. We are absolutely spoiled with morning tea, new super comfortable chairs, large new sewing tables, great lighting, air conditioning and the most skilled, obliging and just plain nice instructor I’ve ever had. My weekly sewing group is now the highlight of my week. And of course, followed up by a stroll through the fabric displays where I rarely leave without finding something gorgeous. The staff are all lovely and very knowledgeable. There’s a huge carpark and the location is super convenient. I honestly cannot recommend Handcrafters highly enough.
