We have always had a wonderful experience at this tasting room. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Our most recent visit acquainted us with Skye, a fabulous server who spent time talking with us both as well as provide outstanding service. The sparkling wines are our favorites and we always come away with a bottle or two. If you are in the area, this is a must visit! Make a reservation as they can get busy.

I’ve driven by a thousand times and finally stopped! Wish I had stopped sooner. It’s such a cute tasting room and the wines were great. Would be a great place to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette or for date night.

The Tasting Room offers a variety Gruet wines (flights, glasses, and bottles) and lite food offerings. I had the Vinters Flight, a sample of full bodied reds. There was a great aroma when they were delivered to the table. I paired that with small Charcuterie plate that had a combination of meat, chese, fruit, veg, nuts and more. A good value when compared to others locations. The tasting room is situated inside a beautiful building with an inviting entrance. The service was friendly and attentive. There is a lot of seating. Starting with bar area tables, a more formal area, a ‘barrel room’, and also a small private table that can be reserved. Outdoor seating includes a nice cozy patio as well as natural area w/ trees and umbrellas and a rock fountains. Too bad it’s next to the freeway, however it was still very enjoyable to dine outside.

For a girls night we went for a sparkling wine tasting here on Friday the 13th, and did 3 flights under the full moon. I had never done a wine tasting, and I am not a wine connoisseur by any means. I typically don't enjoy wine, but this experience with good company, beautiful ambiance and informative and fun staff made me rethink my decision on wine, which is very difficult to do i might add. I found several new wines that I am not opposed to drinking in the near future.

Always a great time here. We’re from out of town and it was our second visit. We loved it so much we signed up for the wine club. Everyone is very friendly. We did two different flights, sparkling and a red flight. They let you taste additional bottles based on your feedback of the flight. We ended up getting a glass of one they let us try. It’s large inside, but both times we liked sitting at the bar. There is an outside area with a little shade but it was too hot that day.

Gruet is such an amazing and delicious winery! We have been visiting this location for over 10 years! Sam is an excellent employee. He knows his product and is so helpful, kind, and fun! We always try to stop in to this “castle” for delicious sparkling and still wines, tasty snacks, and fantastic service!! The to-go selection is outstanding and an easy on and off I-25 if we don’t have the time to stop for a taste.

Had a girls weekend in ABQ, wanted to do a wine tasting and ran across this place. Absolutely beautiful inside and out, the atmosphere was great. The staff were attentive. The music was nice too. We had several flights and left purchasing several bottles. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, he was very knowledgeable about the wine as well as the history of Gruets. He was a gem. We will definitely be back!!

Visiting from Portland, OR, and we have always loved Gruet. We just haven't been able to visit until now. We became club members, and extended out stay to visit the Santa Fe tasting rooms as well. It was SO fun to be there in person. You must visit if you are in the area!!
