"Pocket Bar, Darlinghurst by Universal Favourite. You'll be intrigued by the apothecary-style bottles, antiques and nostalgic paraphernalia as you walk in. The bartenders are friendly and the cocktails unique – try the Darlinghurst Bicycle Club (featuring artichoke liquer) and the Long White Cloud (kiwi-fruit and ice cream – like a grown-up fizzy spider)."

This small, busy bar, has an awesome atmosphere, superb service, delightful drinks and really packs a punch! Drinking on my own, the whole team made me feel so welcome and were really happy to chat about their amazing range of drinks. I enjoyed a colourful and innovative cocktail to begin and then spotted a Shiraz gin on their menu, which had me really intrigued... Jane, one of the incredible bartenders, took me off menu and created a smashing cocktail with it, combined with some complimentary flavours perfectly suited to my taste. The bar is really close to Oxford Street, but tucked away enough to not be stumbled across by everyone. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough... give it a go -- but don't tell everyone!

3.5 stars. Unique cocktail menu on offer here. Service was pretty good too, with staff giving recommendations and willing to have a chat. However the place lacked atmosphere overall and drinks we had, while decent, weren't enough of a draw for us to be back in a hurry.

What an incredible bar! They custom make cocktails based on whatever you’d like to tell them, for example I asked for berries and tropical, and I got a strawberry pineapple cocktail which was divine! My sister asked for Byron bay, and loved her drink, which reminded her of there. They also have a large selection of Japanese whiskeys. The staff are amaxing and super friendly, and asked questions to help figure out the best drinks for us. Our whole group loved it and will definitely be back, it’s become one of our favourite bars! Can’t recommend enough.

Awesome bar, nicely tucked away behind Oxford street. Perfect for after work drinks and relaxing weekend. Flynn makes some of the best cocktails in town, all in house made liquors, dried garnishes and tons of spices to be mixed up with the best local spirits. Not to mention the crazy whisky selection!

A friend who is local took me here. What a great choice ! Very cosy bar with an outstanding performance when it comes to cocktails. Superb is the right word to describe the combination of atmosphere and rock solid cocktails. All tastes in drinks are well covered here. Step through the door, if you appreciate a good cocktail you won’t be disappointed.

My friends and I decided to have a couple of drinks here after having dinner at a nearby tandoori place. The guy at the bar is really nice and they seemed to have a lot of cocktail selections. There was no menu though (not sure why)and he said beer is at your average $10 and cocktails for $20. My friend and I wanted a Four Pillars Gin as I saw the bottle on the shelf but to my surprise, it is for $28 if you want a particular brand. We settled for the usual gin and tonic with whatever gin and tonic he uses for the cocktail recipe. It was good and we liked it. I just think it's a bit overpriced when at Four Pillars Laboratory (700 metres down the road) you can order their special cocktails at $22 and that's their most expensive. Other than that, the place has a good vibe and friendly crowd. :)

Awesome little bar! Went on a Sunday and had an amazing time chatting with the bartenders, eating, and most importantly, drinking. They have a wide range of spirits and are more than happy to go off menu and have fun with them to make you the best drink for you. Already have plans to go back.

New favourite bar! Our custom cocktails were so well thought out and delicious, and the tofu was actually insane. Cosy vibe and really attentive, genuine and lovely service.
