At Go Get Em Tiger, this vibrant coffee bar offers stellar seasonal brews, mouthwatering brunch, and a hip vibe perfect for a casual meetup.
"This second outpost of popular Larchmont coffee shop Go Get Em Tiger has everything we like about the original and more. The coffee is as good as ever and the food is interesting, but the space is bigger and there’s a giant patio out front filled with actors rehearsing lines for their self-funded short films. As well as their legendary waffles, the Los Feliz location more food options - be healthy with a grain bowl, and less so with an excellent chicken sandwich. If you can leave without something from the pastry case, you’ve got more discipline than us." - Jess Basser Sanders
"Chances are you’ve encountered Go Get Em Tiger, a third-wave coffee chain with locations in Los Feliz, Santa Monica, the Arts District, and beyond, at some point. What started as a small Grand Central Market stall has turned into a total caffeine empire. What’s the secret to their success, you ask? High-quality coffee that ranges from strong cups of drip to a sweet, simple iced version we like to sip whenever we need to feel, we don’t know, something. Their Larchmont location also has a few good breakfast options - our favorite is the baked egg with chorizo, where sausage, eggs, cheese, and tomato are baked together in a pot of oozy gold." - Kat Hong
"Cookbook is where anyone who cosplays Alison Roman will inevitably spend a lot of money. This white bungalow is the third and largest location of the boutique grocery store, stocked with tinned fish, biodynamic wines, and farmers' market produce spilling out of rustic baskets. The main reason to go here, however, is for a lovely al fresco lunch at the attached cafe. Curated by the Jon & Vinny folks, the menu is essentially a collection of fancy sandwich-salad-soup combos, most of which are quite good. You can take in the sunshine, slurp $14 chicken broth, and eat a buttered cheese toastie filled with caramelized leeks in true "Larchmont chic" fashion." - brant cox, sylvio martins
"If the layout of this tiny Larchmont staple reminds you more of your favorite crowded bar, then you’re already an insider: Wave your hands and get the barista-cum-bartender’s attention, because you’ll want a G&B shake (four shots of espresso blended with McConnell’s vanilla ice cream) faster than you can say, “Wow, their macadamia-almond milk really is that good.” They also serve real food. Try the romesco grilled cheese. PRO TIP: Don’t sleep on the non-coffee drinks that they mix that macadamia-almond milk into, namely a turmeric-ginger-honey cortado that’s equal parts nourishing and health halo–gratifying. THE DETAILS: Open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m." - Condé Nast
"You shouldn’t eat things like toasted sourdough because of the current situation in your mouth, but what if said sourdough was soaked in a nourishing chicken bone broth? Call it a loophole if you want. The bread is mushy and soggy in a satisfying way, as opposed to a gross way. Maybe eat around the crust, though. " - sylvio martins
