At Gasoline Grill, nestled in a converted gas station, you'll savor some of Copenhagen's finest organic burgers and crinkle-cut fries, often with a delightful wait.
"One of the city’s best burgers emerges from a working gas station. Owner Klaus Wittrup was one of the first in Copenhagen to make quality burgers from freshly ground beef cooked to order. Since the burger hype started in 2016, he’s opened several shops around the city, including a location at the airport. Organic meat (or fungi for vegetarians) sits on a fluffy potato bun with pickles and some greens, and you can add truffle salt or vinegar to your fries. Note: The restaurant is open until sold out." - Anna Norström, Gabe Ulla
"GO HERE: for the city’s best organic burgers and crinkle-cut fries. It won’t seem revolutionary to most Americans, but wow, is it good. (Those potato rolls!) ORDER THE: butterburger, herb oil for fries, and chocolate mousse for dessert. The original location near Gothersgade is cooler, but the Indre By location doesn’t sell out as quickly. THE VIBE IS: truly a gas station with a bright-green neon sign and actual pumps. There is some outdoor seating. PRACTICAL STUFF: Open every day, 11 a.m. until sold out. Take advantage of your jet lag and go as early as you can: They usually sell out by 5 p.m. Check its Instagram page beforehand to make sure they’re still stocked. —Christine Muhlke" - Condé Nast
"Burger restaurant located in a converted gas station, known for its high-quality burgers." - Coolstuff Team
This is a chain, an all-time favorite burger, get the chocolate mousse if they have it as well. Do the butter burger with cheese, live a little. Also great fries!!!
