I visited this shop on Friday, January 4th, accompanied by my mother and brother. While we may have appeared touristy and underdressed after walking around the city all day, the service we received was notably inconsistent. A blonde/redheaded female staff appeared much more attentive to other customers, some of whom ultimately did not make a purchase, while we felt overlooked despite our intent to buy.
We selected three items, totaling approximately 798,500 ARS ($775 USD), but were disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in the purchasing experience. For instance, we noticed that another customer was offered a complimentary sample, yet no such gesture was extended to us. Furthermore, we were not provided with an itemized receipt. Despite assurances that it would be emailed, no receipt ever arrived.
Additionally, when we inquired about VAT forms for tax refunds (as US citizens), we were told these only applied to candles, not perfumes. This information seemed questionable, as we could not find any clarification online. Such ambiguity detracts from the customer experience.
While the shop itself is aesthetically appealing and provides an opportunity to explore unique fragrances, the overall service fell short of expectations for what should be a luxury shopping experience. For US-based customers, purchasing from the brand’s website or domestic stores may offer better value and convenience (online, our purchase would have totaled $622 USD). Based on our experience, I would recommend doing that in the future.
