"Flora, Agnesviertel. Flora, a beautiful botanical garden in Cologne, is a wonderful place to enjoy a sunny day. Opened in the mid 1800s, after the destruction of Cologne's older botanical garden, it has a mix of German, French, Italian and English garden elements. It's open daily and free of charge, making it a great daytime activity. And, if you're hungry, try out the Flora cafe for a nice lunch. You can either eat your lunch on their terrace or take it in one of their picnic baskets and eat it out in the gardens. Select photos: Flora Köln."

Yeah I thought this place was utterly charming, with a beautiful cafe, ample toilets and the smaller greenhouse open, it was a lovely morning! When it's all renovated and re-opened it will be a sight to behold !

Great garden to visit but it is not that big, you will see so many beautiful flowers and trees that you never see before, they have an access from different streets and you don’t have to enter from the main gate, the main issue is no parking.

Calm area, lots of plants, trees from various locations around the globe. Fresh area with lots of shadows to refresh from the sun. Wood seats all around the park, so you can relax and enjoy the view. You can Also find some animals too!

Amazing park with plants/ flowers from all over the world designed in a unique arrangements In addition to a greenhouse. Restaurant available with nice theme as a picnic where you can take food jars in a basket & enjoy it anywhere in the park . Entry is free . Suitable for weddings & large gatherings.
