"Don't let the modernist, low-slung Entre Cielos fool you. Beneath its raw concrete structure is a working vineyard, producing Malbec a short distance outside the city of Mendoza. The effect is dramatic and mirrors the equally stylish rooms." - Mark Fedeli

"Between Heavens Entre Cielos is an award-winning boutique hotel built by a group of Swiss friends on a picturesque plot of land in Vistabla, a scenic town 30 minutes outside Mendoza’s city center. Spanning 20 acres, Entre Cielos is a modern 16-room hotel, free-standing spa, open-air grill, wine bar and eight-acre vineyard overlooking the snowcapped peaks of the Andes mountain range. Drawing from a popular spa trend in their native Switzerland , the owners built an authentic Hamam + Spa, the first of its kind in Latin America. Entre Cielos was awarded a 2013 World Boutique Hotel Award for the best boutique hotel in South America. My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this place in Mendoza. I decided to get the Flores Blancas cabin. The views & location were breathtaking but unfortunately, the air-con & jacuzzi had issues. If I'm spending $692 per night on a room (incl. taxes), I expect no problems. We got offered another room, but the other room is $100 less per night, so, we didn't want to sacrifice the experience we signed up for. Even after flagged the problem, nothing was fixed. There was no effort to compensate us in any way. Also, the restaurant was really disappointing. I would avoid this at all costs. Breakfast featured cold eggs every morning & eating there in the evening was overcooked steak. The staff were really friendly/nice and created a nice vibe but for the money, I don't think it's worth it.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The hotel is beautiful and serene. The staff are all so warm and provided excellent service. Really loved our room out in the vineyard, sipping coffee on our private porch in the morning facing the Andes was incredible. Not to mention storm watching at night was so cool! Love that during your stay you can communicate with the front desk via WhatsApp to book activities, order room service and what not. Honestly, if you don’t leave the hotel grounds at all you will have a wonderful and peaceful stay. Great breakfasts too. ||Overall an excellent stay, top tier service, very quiet, comfortable mattresses and if you have time to visit their spa, do!

This is a small elegant hotel on the outskirts of Mendoza. Nicely appointed rooms and a staff that is very friendly - always smiling. Lovely pool area. There is a fox family that you will see around the pool and outside dining area. There was a whole flock of parakeets that would swoop around the property. We had the one room that is elevated out in the vineyard that looks like a wine barrel. Great room with a hot tub on the deck. Peaceful, quiet , elegant and relaxing. The restaurant is also very good but with what initially looks like a very limited menu. However since the hotel is small they will make you most anything you want within reason. Don't miss the wine tasting on site, the empanada making class and the traditional Argentinian grilled meat special dinner. A great jumping off point for Mendoza wine tours. Make sure you go to the Uco valley and Finca Sophenia.

Beautiful views from this aging modernist/minimalist hotel. Nice pool outrageous da stuff , which we didn’t, back with views of the Andes and nice landscaping. Hotel room themselves are fairly small / minimal deco and furniture. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast in the morning, though the service is very slow. If you aren’t doing the spa stuff, which we didn’t, I think it’s very overpriced.

Amazing experience here. We went during the week in April and there were not a lot of guests there which was nice and private. We got lucky with weather with multiple pool days. The staff took the best care of us and we loved them all so much. Vineyard Loft stay was a treat. Front desk recommended things based on what we were interested in ie wine tasting/tour, epic lunches nearby, spa day, and booked everything for us. Would love to return

Wow! This is a unique boutique property set in the vineyards of Mendoza. When you walk into the property, you are greeted with smiles all around. The grounds are stunning, with some interesting cacti and gorgeous zen gardens. The hotel itself is a marvel of modern design, with the ceiling emulating the clouds in its name. The front desk has water, juice…. And a wine dispenser! Everyday, they offer a wine tasting in their cellar, and the wines are of excellent quality. We did a day at the spa, which was relaxing. The food and service in the restaurant is excellent. I loved it! STAY HERE!!!!

Beautiful resort like property in an intimate setting. Service was great. Food very good and the property we'll maintained. Front desk did well at staying in touch and letting us know when our guides were on property for pick up. Very quiet and relaxing environment. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent small 24 room hotel, that is well worth the splurge. From the moment you walk in you notice the setting in the vineyard and great attention to detail. Staff were all memorable and went out of their way to help whether it was for laundry, organzing a tour, or getting you a good cup of espresso (hard to find in Argentina). Truly appreciated our time here.

Yelp
Hotel boutique de lujo en Mendoza, las habitaciones son divinas y el parque también! Luxury Boutique hotel in Mendoza, the rooms are beautiful and the garden too!

Yelp
Entre Cielos brings the luxury Swiss health spa experience to Mendoza. Cielos is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Cielos offers a quiet oasis amidst grapevines at the foot of the Andes mountains. With only 16 guest rooms, this modern boutique getaway offers a space of solace and rejuvenation. Our room felt very spacious with a living area downstairs, and bedroom upstairs. It felt like a separate pod built outside, yet in. You couldn't hear anyone else. The rooms were modern works of art. It felt like I had stepped into a magazine. Like true Swiss fashion the room had a Nespresso machine. Each room had their own patio overlooking the gardens. The hotel had an exercise path, with exercise stops, and a beautiful pool. The cost of our hotel room came with a buffet breakfast, free wifi, and one free hammam spa circuit. The spa is the first traditional Turkish hammam spa in Latin America. The spa staff takes you through multiple stops of wet saunas, exfoliating, and warm pool. We added a 30-minute oil massage to our free spa experience, and it was amazing!! After the spa circuit, we were taken to the relaxation room with sleeping pods. There was tea, refreshments, and snacks awaiting us. Phenomenal spa experience. The hotel has free parking within an enclosed gate. Upon entering the gate and parking our car, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and asked to wait for a golf cart to come to pick us up. They whisked us away to the main hotel entrance where we were seated to check in. I have never been so pampered before! After checking us in, someone showed us to our room, explained all the nuances of the room, and hotel, and then left us. A welcome note and a small bottle of wine for two awaited us to enjoy. The hotel restaurant was very good. We ate there each night. We were never disappointed. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. LIke everyone else in the hotel. They had a good wine selection. The breakfast buffet was also very good. Many things to select from. The meal prices were actually affordable for such a fancy hotel. They also welcomed guests into the restaurant from outside the hotel as well. Each night they performed a turndown service, that included leaving a handmade chocolate on your pillow. Amazing chocolate! A phenomenal experience in a luxurious pampered beautiful setting.

Yelp
My partner and I stayed at Entre Cielos for two nights while we were in Lujan de Coyo, and overall, we enjoyed our stay here and thought that the service was very nice. The location of this hotel is very convenient to a lot of the wineries in Lujan. We didn't book anything before we showed up because he didn't know how he would feel (with jetlag, etc), and the concierge was more than helpful in both recommending interesting and unique wineries as well as booking them for us. We were staying in the low season, so it was easier to get day of reservations, but if you are coming in the high season, I definitely would recommend talking to the concierge weeks in advance so that you book exactly the wineries that you want or ask them for their recommendations and they can book them for you. (I recommend Matervini, Melipal, and Ruca Malen.) The aesthetic is very industrial, and as was the room we were staying in aji, "spice." You definitely want a room with a view of the pool and mountain area, because the other view is just junk. I'm sure the rooms on that side are just as nice, but waking up and being able to just look right into the mountains and the view was worth whatever surcharge. They had their own brand of toiletries here, and the bathroom was rather large. The floorplan is open, so there is no door between the bedroom area in the bathroom. The hammam is worth a visit as well -- upscale and interesting to experience.

Yelp
This is one of top most luxurious hotels in the world - I have stayed in others but never has the service been soooooooo good, so kind and so accommodating. Everything from start to finish was carried out with the most immaculate effort and every single one of hotel staff members tried SO HARD. For example: we went to a hotel bar and my husband ordered a bloody mary - the bartender went to a hotel garden, picked fresh tomatoes, hand crushed them - let me say this again - he crushed those tomatoes by hand for us - to make the most fresh delicious tomato juice w/out a juicer, then made the most delicious bloody mary with the fresh juice and his own blend of spices. UNBELIVABLE ! Where in the world would you ever get such a service ? We stayed here for 4 days - the staff planned various activities for us - hiking, horse backriding, wild water rafting. Finally, the spa was amazing too and I was pleasantly surprised that unlike other luxury resorts - they charged local prices for their services instead of American resort prices. For example I got a 90 minutes massage and a 60 minute facial and the total for both was about 180$ - where in NYC at a premium resort I would easily be looking at 400-600$ for the same services at a place of this caliber. They even have a special restaurant open just for the guests of the hotel - steak asado - when we dined there - we were one group of the only 11 guests eating that night ! They even have a private artist atelier if you are into art or collect art and had a local artist come out just to give us a tour and to show us the artworks of the three artists who display their works in a hotel ! I can not wait to come back ! I absolutely LOVED THIS AMAZING SURREAL PLACE !

Yelp
Truly heaven on earth. Meticulously maintained grounds, spa and hotel (if you can call a place this glorious a hotel). Onsite restaurant/bar offers amazing food 24 hours a day. Staff attentiveness can only be compared to that of Ritz-Carlton. And the views! They can't be beat. The spa circuit is a must. We will be back!
