"Tea Time Tea & Company is a charming tea house and restaurant started by Argentine tea sommelier Silvina Fortuny whose mission is to provide high-quality loose-leaf teas in a soothing environment. The tea menu is an expansive list of green and white teas to Rooibos and exotic blends. Relax over a cup of naturally decaffeinated Deep Africa rooibos tea with notes of coconut, cocoa beans, hints of vanilla and a touch of caramel. Your teapot comes with a hand knit warming sleeve and a wooden hourglass; the waitress will let you know how many times you need to turn it over to let your tea leaves steep. On hot summer days try the fresh iced teas. Their organic salads and sweet treats are also delightful. Corner of Viamonte and Larrea, Chacras de Coria, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza; +54 261 496 1051"
Carmelo Patti
Winery · Luján de Cuyo
"Carmelo Patti Winery in Mendoza Visit Carmelo Patti’s eponymous boutique winery. He’s often referred to as the most passionate winemaker in Mendoza . Patti has been making wine out of his garage for almost forty years and has developed a cult-like following. He gives personal tours (in Spanish) relaying animated anecdotes and interesting lessons on how to make and drink wine. There’s nothing flashy about this winery, and that’s part of its charm. Patti puts his time and energy into sourcing the best grapes and making his signature cabernet sauvignons, which you can sample from the barrel. Plaza Independencia, Mendoza
Park · Capital (Mendoza)
"Wander Mendoza’s Plazas Mendoza has suffered devastating earthquakes that have reduced the city to rubble. The earthquake of 1861 destroyed most of the city. Instead of repairing all the damage, the city decided to build a new city center southwest of the original location. They created a large principal plaza—Plaza Independencia—surrounded by four smaller plazas: Plaza San Martin; Plaza Chile; Plaza Italia; and the most picturesque, Plaza Espana. These open spaces created a safe retreat for residents to gather in the event of another destructive earthquake. On weekends the plazas come alive with artisan markets, food vendors, lip-locked lovers and families. Enjoy the people watching and be aware of your belongings."

"Brunch at Maria Antonieta Vanina Chimeno is the chef behind Maria Antonieta, a restaurant where she cooks what she likes to eat. She’s the partner of Argentina's famous chef Francis Mallmann and worked for many years in his renowned restaurant 1884. She aims for simplicity and quality, and although her restaurant is a fantastic choice for any meal of the day, make sure you stop in for brunch. Unlike many other restaurants in South America, Maria Antonieta understands the “American Breakfast”. When you’re yearning for scrambled eggs with crunchy bacon, a cheese omelet or Eggs Benedict, this is the place to find them. Another plus, you can order coffee-to-go. Brunch ends at 12:30 PM.
