"En Hakkore is a great Bucktown restaurant to have in your back pocket. This Korean fusion spot works well as a serious takeout operation, or for a quick meal if you want to dine-in. The menu is pretty slim, but it works, because everything on it tastes great. And our three favorite things we have in our rotation are the bibimbap, sashimi-bap and paratha tacos. The bibimbap consists of veggies, your choice of spicy pork or Korean BBQ, plus white rice, brown rice, or black rice. The sashimi-bap is the same, but with your choice of seafood. But where you really want to go wild is on the tacos. Their tacos are wrapped in flaky paratha, and they're absolutely delicious. Food Rundown Jap Chae Sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried in sesame oil with some vegetables and korean beef. These slippery little babies make for a great appetize. Bibimbap Bowl As we mentioned, a whole bunch of veggies, your choice of spicy pork or korean barbecue beef, plus white rice, brown rice, or black rice. Our move is the Korean beef with brown rice. Paratha Tacos These tacos are incredible. If we had to pick some of our favorite stand-alone dishes, these are creeping their way up the list. A mix of veggies, your choice of spicy pork or Korean beef (either is acceptable), and topped with spicy mayo either way. The flakey paratha they serve it on it was makes these tacos next level. Sashimi-Bap We are big fans of this sashimi-bap. It’s similar to the bibimbap, but instead of your choice of meat, you get raw tuna, salmon, white tuna, tilapia, and shrimp." - Sam Faye

"The menu is short but sweet at this Korean-fusion spot. Customers can get bowls of bibimbap, mandu dumplings, japchae, and tacos served on Indian-style paratha. A sister restaurant, En Hakkore 2.0 in Wicker Park, offers items like kimchi, sushi bowls, and bulgogi fries" - Eater Staff, Ashok Selvam

"En Hakkore, Bucktown. This counter service Korean spot has a small but impressive menu. This is a great place to get a giant bowl of bibimbap and although its a huge bowl, it taste light and extraordinarily fresh. The Korean tacos are also a great get."

"If you’re looking for a quick and casual dinner in Wicker Park, En Hakkore is a good choice. The Korean-inspired menu is small, but you’re here for one of two things: either their take on bibimbap, which is lighter than usual (with 16 different veggies, rice, and your choice of protein), or the sashimi-bap, which is five different kinds of sashimi over a vegetable-filled salad. The food tastes great, and you’ll definitely feel good about yourself after eating it." - josh barnett, sam faye

I thought I had a favorite Korean taco joint until I came across this place. It’s small, cute and most important delicious. I got two beef tacos. I was initially disappointed when I saw the thick flour tortilla as I prefer corn but I was delighted after the first bite. The size of the tacos are huge. I was feeling full after the first one but it was so good I finished the second one. Prices are spot on. I will be coming back over and over again

Delicious food. Do not be scared of the $9 for two tacos price tag, they are HUGE. Easily twice the meat of a big star taco for the same price. Both beef and pork were extremely flavorful. The soft shell it comes in matched perfectly with the taco, very thick and crispy, almost felt deep fried? But very good. The spicy aioli sauce it comes with is awesome too. I will be coming back to try the appetizers. Eat them fast though, they cool down real quick and the cold sauce does not help.

The bibimbap sushi burrito was so good! The bulgogi fries were amazing. The sauce they use is great. I got delivery due to social distancing so I don’t know what the dine in experience is like, but the food was still fresh when I got it. The serving size was decent.

My husband and I have been coming here for years now. This is a perfect Korean-fusion place. The place has a great vibe with friendly workers and cute decorations. Their bibimbap is the best. It's super delicious and pretty. They're not authentic Korean food (in a good way), and super tasty and definitely worth the money! I highly recommend their bibimpap with beef and Korean pancakes with spicy pork!!

Forgot to take pics of the food because we were so hungry! We got the beef Bibimbap and veg Bibimbap and the portion was great for the price point. Extra sauce was $.50. Would come back again!!

Probably the best Asian fusion tacos I’ve ever had. What makes these stand out so much are the large paratha taco shells that add so much to the flavor over normal corn or flour shells. I prefer the pork (a bit spicy) over the beef. The tofu taco is also super light, yet still very satisfying. Seating inside is limited but they do delivery and pickup.

This is a solid 4.3 stars. The food is fantastic and priced nicely and you get a lot of meat in their paratha tacos. The beef and pork are savory and tasty. The cabbage/lettuce mix gives it a good crunch as well as the naan-like flat bread. Add the sweet/picy aoli and its a meal. One paratha was enough for me so had some left overs. The pork mondoo (dumplings) is a really tasty app. The sesame oil & seeds added a nice nuttiness to the dumplings dipped in the salty/zesty soy sauce. Well worth the trip and great counter service.

Excellent Korean lunch spot worthy of its Michelin guided status! The standout dish was the beef peratha, Korean beef wrapped in a superb Indian flatbread. It’s an absolute must.
