Wonderful coffee. Espresso is good and the natura filter coffee was top! Very busy place. Food options look good!

I was initially hesitant to visit this place due to some negative reviews about the staff being unfriendly and rude. However, I've also heard that they serve really good coffee, so I decided to give it a chance. While I understand that the baristas might be busy and finding it difficult to smile all the time, I didn't find them to be rude during my visit. Although I do think that they were overwhelmed with the long lines. The drinks are great and their decaf options were great too.

Very tasty coffee, I would really recommend the place for coffee lovers. Variety of brewed coffee is huge, latte is very mild. What was really shocking for me - the cheesecake was not fresh. I am attaching a picture where you can see that the back of the cake is dried out already.

I had ordered a latte, which I always drink because I can only handle something very light. However, the one I received was so light, even for me. It was almost like it had no coffee taste at all. So, I went back and asked if they could add an extra shot. Three of the employees (I believe one of them was the manager) gathered together and said, ‘So?’ I repeated my request, and I wasn’t mean or loud or anything. They were unfriendly, and told me to pay for the extra shot. Which was totally okay, thankfully I have money for an extra shot :) The problem is their lack of ability to communicate with customers and resolve issues. I mean it doesn’t necessarily take three people to decide whether to add an extra shot or not. :) also you could have done it in a friendly manner, if not free of charge

Biting into the Franzbrötchen is like floating on a chewy cloud of cinnamon with caramelized edges. The cafe is also so G.O.O.D.

The coffee used to be amazing everyday. This year, it tastes sometimes watery. But the worst of all is the service. There are SO unfriendly. Even though we come every second day, there are never smiling, never saying hello or thank you. The girls are having attitudes all the time. I don’t understand why the direction let those people ruins their reputation…

Banana bread and bagels are good. Always busy as the coffee is good. I don’t drink coffee and the options other than coffee are terrible. They should do a few more teas and perhaps fresh mint tea.

So glad I stumbled on this great café! Breakfast of yogurt with fruit and granola fit my mood and tastes exactly. Coffee drinks and treats in display case all looked top-notch. Definitely the bright spot of my day in Hamburg!
