Margherita with (all free??!) pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms is the way. Or at least I assume so, because they ran out of mushrooms by the time we got there. Toppings are simple but effective. Not too oily!! Crust is crispy, but not overly charred.
Stumbled upon Doozie’s Pizza one Saturday afternoon. Vibes are immaculate and Pizza was just the best I’ve had in a while. After that it became a go to staple for me. Fresh and innovative flavors, whenever I have someone visiting the city going to Doozie’s is a mandatory stop. ( pics from multiple occasions, always banging)

Just amazing pizza, one of the best in the city. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and really kind. Excellent experience every time and you should go here!

I am here in queens now and I ordered the sausage and roasted pepper pizza from the menu. I asked for mushrooms to be added. I paid my my $24 with cash and waited patiently as I watched a few pizzas passing and awaiting ours. When it arrived it had onions and no mushrooms and I was told by a man working there he said out loud sorry we have no mushrooms. I heard nothing and I never acknowledged him. Also I was told onions are on it and if I didn’t want onions I could have asked questions. It doesn’t say it has olives so do I need to ask if those are on it ?! Why not put that in the description then? He was very aggressive at first and it caused me to become teary eyed. He came back over and offered to make the pizza without onions which we accepted. It was decent pizza not great any maybe my experience made it difficult to enjoy it. I literally am a born and bred New Yorker who normally isn’t fazed. He was just so aggressive and he also rolled his eyes. The young lady who worked there apologized twice I just was so shaken by his attitude especially since I had not done anything wrong. I do not think I’d get pizza here again after the way he reacted to her mistake.

I am halfway through slice 2 as I write this, best pizza I’ve had in a long time! The base is thin, crunchy, but soft in the middle; The toppings are delicate, fresh, and so perfect with a beer on a sunny day- you can’t beat that!

The best pizza, incredible service. Delicious, freshly baked, they make it in front of your eyes. It has an incredible flavor. Whenever I go to NY I go to Ridgewood for this Pizza.

It’s a pop up at Evil Twin Brewing. We got the upside down garlic pie, half with pepperoni. Toppings were decent, but the dough & crust were quite mediocre. Seems like the reviews here are propped up by the chef’s friends rather than honest reviewers.

Great Za place, esp for a place in a brewery. The buffalo chicken pizza lacked sauce but the upside down garlic Za was incredible, some of the best pizza I had in the city.
