Doozie Pizza
Pizza restaurant · Ridgewood
Margherita with (all free??!) pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms is the way. Or at least I assume so, because they ran out of mushrooms by the time we got there. Toppings are simple but effective. Not too oily!! Crust is crispy, but not overly charred.
Decades Pizza
Restaurant · Ridgewood
The crust and the shiitake mushrooms!! A fave NY slice pizza. It is $$ but a high vibe restaurant
Speedy Romeo
Pizza restaurant · Clinton Hill
Pizzas are reliably solid (St Louie for personal fave), don’t sleep on breakfast burritos
Leo
Pizza restaurant · Williamsburg
Forever fave. #1 Margherita pizza in my heart. Also clam pie, the hill with sausage, the BREAD, the Caesar, and all the desserts. Just a great hang
Mano's Pizzeria
Pizza restaurant · Ridgewood
Upside down Sicilian forever. Crispiest crust, fluffy interior, tomato sauce perfectly tangy. NY slices and grandma are solid, but the Sicilian is heaven
Grand Street Pizza
Pizza restaurant · Lower East Side
Very good square slice (albeit on the chewier / fluffier side) and good NY slice too. Underhyped and cute inside
Rosie Pizza Bar
Pizza restaurant · Bushwick
Strongly reminds me of a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza but in a good way (when you’re in the mood for that). The roasted eggplant and zucchini on top of the veg pizza are a perfect texture. Wish it was less oily but slaps regardless. Sliced tavern style
Roberta's
Italian restaurant · Williamsburg
Classic for a reason. Lil Stinker great / Beastmaster average
Farina nyc
Pizza restaurant · Red Hook
This place is something different! Feels super classic / old school but innovative at the same time. Tuna pizza was great. Love the ancient bread oven. Coziest vibes, esp at the bar or the window seats. However it took 7 years to get our one pizza out of the oven
