Tony met with Frank Künster, legendary Berlin bouncer. They had pork schnitzel with brown gravy and boulette (pork meatballs). They discussed the nightclub scene in Berlin.
Found this place by change while walking around the neighborhood. There are outdoor and indoor dining available in the shop. The shop is a butcher while at the same time sells German pork dishes . Food was delicious, served hot and affordable. Hardly any waiting time and perfect for if you are on the go.

Incredible spot. Well priced, great atmosphere, quick and attentive service! The food was great, they do a very nice cordon bleu and the portions are massive.
Should be an okay spot for a gluten free diner as well.
Will definitely be returning.

My fav place in Berlin. It looks (and tastes) like your mom or your grandma cooked for you, with a selection of local foods and drinks. Place is absolutely informal, prices and food are great. Not your place if you value looks over substance.

Friendly shop keepers who tried their best to explain to us who were touring Berlin. I followed the local and tried raw pork (Mett Brötchen), and meat patty for breakfast. Yummy and reasonable price. Lovely place and lovely people. Wish we could try their lunch. I do believe the taste is authentic Berliners food.

Pretty fat scran from Donke, very reasonable price with huge portions. Proper German scran, which I would recommend to nationals and tourists alike. The selection is also mega. Prices gone up slightly since my last visit, but would probably say it’s still very good value. Shopkeepers very friendly and super quick service who are always more than happy to help

Although sad inflation they offer still good German dishes.
Probably you can get more German dishes than any other fancy German restaurants with better price(relatively affordable) and good(enough) size.
Blood sausage is my favorite.
Unfortunately there were no more the famous cucumber salad.
So I had a German potato salad, it has just the taste, which I remember as a German potato salad.

A well deserved 5 stars! If you’re in Berlin, make sure you visit this place. It’s a butcher’s but they also serve hearty German food. It’s a simple environment but the food is 5 starts and it’s great price. I had Gulasch with potatoes on a super plate and it was €6. The service is great and they speak English too.
