Covet Consign

Heard a lot about this place before I visited. Parking wasn't bad. Inside was a well-curated assortment of furniture and decorations (paintings, small sculptures and wall ornaments). Bought two stools for a new place. Would definitely recommend Covet Consign/Frank Modern to all who have graduated from college dorm room furniture and are looking to invest in real furniture for the next phase in their lives.

A really unique find! Covet has something for everyone, and all in exceptional taste. Artistic and contemporary, retro and mid century and all for very reasonable prices. We purchased multiple pieces, including 6 dining room chairs that get all the love and compliments from guests. In this time of pretty limited and often run-of-the-mill go-to chain furniture stores, I was thrilled to find unique, beautiful, and affordable furniture and art at Covet and to support a local business. Go there and see their multiple store fronts and warehouse, a hidden treasure trove on easily accessible Chicago Ave. You won't regret it!

Love this place! Great combination of new and used pieces, all beautiful. Frank(where you enter from the store front) is all new furniture(Scandinavian style) and most can be ordered to specific preferences. The back is all consignment(Covet) - they take great care to find pieces that are beautiful and well cared for. The inventory changes frequently, so come back often. There is also a scratch and dent shop out the back for special gems - make sure to check that out too.a but pricy, but worth it for the right piece. Owner is great and super friendly! Love chatting with her.

I love the hunt for mid-century, well-made furniture. With this said, I have been excited to visit this shop after ogling their beautiful pieces from afar online. As expected, the inventory was beautiful. I was taken aback by the feeling that the clerk was intentionally trying to ignore us but I quickly explained that away. It was when I asked a question that I realized that the lack of a warm welcome was not an overread. The clerk was aloof with an air of superiority that made it difficult to have an exchange. We had intended to purchase a few items that I would consider a good day for the store but due to the rude interaction it was not worth it to us to patron the store.

Beautiful shop with lots of treasures to be found.

Christy is responsive to inquiries and provides great service. Just bought a cute tall boy from her. Spruce up your home, reuse instead of buying new, and support a small business! Check out the website for current inventory. Recommend just walking around the store space for inspiration.

We are transplants from a much larger City and found it daunting at best dealing with and acquiring furnishings for our residence. We are so thankful that we stumbled on this business. We couldn't believe the lack of interest or attention or even a simple hello place after place that we stopped in at in both cities. What's up with Minnesotians? Minnesota Nice...whoever came up with that one? We don't write reviews per se yet find it warranted and necessary to remark on welcoming, eagerness to help, the product knowledge and suggestions on other things where we were stumped. We had been to many places and were miffed and dismayed with the commonality of Room & Board as the average person would point us to. We hoped and wanted something more distinctive and original in our home. So very glad to have come across this business . We've gotten excellent pieces that are quality, constructed and built well (we don't buy disposable or scratch and dent furniture), that will be passed on to our grown kids. It is not just furniture - paintings, rugs, objet d'art and niçe things of interest. Couple that with pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Well done and Thank you! Glad to have gone off the beaten path yet again as we found this place.

Neighbors told me about this shop. Took a look at their website and spotted a few coffee tables that looked great. Made an appointment with the owner to check them out. What a lovely store! Found a great table and a very reasonable price.
