All of its chocolates are made in Zurich before being shipped out to its global stores, and its flagship shop, which occupies a 17th century half-timbered building on a narrow cobblestoned street in the Altstadt, is smaller than most living rooms (and manned by a staff of two). As a incompetent basic chocolate enjoyer, I have never had any fancy chocolate, let alone truffle chocolates. We ordered a single truffle chocolate and it was quite possibly the best chocolate I've ever had. It simply melts in your mouth and the light alcoholic taste also adds to it. The inside is also really cool with a lot of bright colors and fake tree branches.

Teuscher Zurich is a must-visit for any chocolate lover! The shop is located in the heart of Zurich and offers a wide variety of delicious chocolates and truffles. The quality of the chocolate is simply superb, and the flavors are unique and creative. I especially loved the champagne truffles and the dark chocolate bars. Been enjoying these chocolates for years and their great speciality is their Champagne Truffle. Their other chocolates are still good they just don't carry the infamy of the truffles. That being said the truffles are very sweet. In my opinion less sweetness and more cocoa taste would be a better contrast. I can only eat one truffle. The service here was excellent and patient with my Children. The decor is top notch with all corners given special care.

I purchased a small assortment of chocolates from Teuscher - Zürich while in Zurich for work and ended up eating them all by the end of the day! The store is so sweet and fun and clean and to see the staff making goodies behind the counter is super cool. My colleague purchased a large box of chocolates for his wife.

Its a chocolate heaven! We have spent almost $200 on different varieties of chocolates and would go for more if we didn’t have only a carryons with us 😅 Disclaimer: it was mostly for presents for our friends and families. Anyways, aside from being a bit overpriced (as everything else here) its a place you want to visit to equip with goods 🤣

The location is being turned into a Confiserie Madeleine. As of 15 December 2024, there were still a few Teuscher bars but the signage has been covered and the rest of the products carry the Madeleine brand.

If there was ever a time to come to visit Teuscher and pick up an present, it is now. Easter chocolate bunnies abound and the spring colors adorn the windows. The chocolate tastes as good as it looks too!

Feels like walking into a real-life Willy Wonka scenario; the displays themselves are reason enough to visit! I couldn't help but take pictures so I can look back and salivate at all of the chocolate options! Like a kid in a (literal) candy store. Prices are a little on the higher side because of the artisan quality and ornate and decorative package options, but it is well worth a visit to splurge and try for yourself!

We completed an entire self-guided tour of Zurich's famous chocolatiers including Sprüngli, Lindt, Läderach, and Teuscher. After all, the city is famous for its chocolate, and all four are competing to be the best! To be completely honest, three of the four shops only scored four stars for us, which is certainly honorable. But it was Teuscher that earned our five-star review! In fact, the best thing we ate in Zurich were the slices of a real orange that were candied and covered in milk chocolate! Not even Lindt's mother store a few blocks away could compete with that!

In the land of chocolate Teuscher can hold its own! At 90 years young it is but a teen in a city that has more than 100 chocolatiers that all come to play. They not only taste delicious they are beautiful to look at. If you are a chocolate lover and visit the country put Teuscher on your list of must visit/taste!

This cute shop, located just a short walk from St Peter's, was terrific for picking up gifts to bring back to the States... Their tiny chocolate shop is filled not only with their famous champagne truffles, but also pralines, chocolate bars, chocolate covered fruits, marzipan, nougats, and lots of assorted gift packages. The prices were to be expected in Zurich (not that cheap) but were somewhat reasonable. You can create your own gift boxes too. The service was exceptionally friendly and they even gave me extra gift bags and wrapping for giving away all the sweets I bought. Don't miss the champagne truffles here -- so soft and rich!

OMG...another Teuscher Swiss chocolate shop with more marvelous chocolates! This location also has the famous truffles, chocolate bars, and assorted pralines. The stores are merchandised very bright and festive! The chocolates are made with natural ingredients. The champagne truffles are the house speciality made with fresh cream, butter, and chocolate with a champagne cream center and then dusted with confectioner's sugar. Quality isn't at all obvious. I've had some of the best but this confiserie puts out an inferior product. There is no regard for professional presentation. The boxed pieces are inferior in taste and look positively sloppy.
