Citizens Of Bleecker

This is the third “citizen of…” I’ve visited. Love that they have gluten free bread. Got the salmon and eggs + avocado and it was good although I felt that something was missing (it was too simple/ straightforward so nothing special about it). I do love the service and vibe in this place . Everyone is super nice and kind. Thankfully we didn’t need to wait for a table (Sunday, 11am)

Nice brunch spot. The service was quite slow however attentive. The food was nice but nothing spectacular. We got the avocado toast with poached egg (avocado was a bit green and bread not very crunchy) and the waffle which had a very heavy custard on top. The coffee was good. Prices are average.

Our first time here, we came for brunch. The food was good as was the coffee. We sat outside. The GF had BBQ Brekkie bowl-good. I had the salmon eggs - good as well and a nice piece of bread under it. Nice that they give you steak knives as standard utensils. We also got a cheddar biscuit - good but small for $4.50.

The food was good and the early morning brunch ambience was fun. However, with the advent of hotter summers, I would have appreciated more cooling or fans inside as well. Presentation was nice and the service was deserving as well. I would recommend this place. We ordered smashed avocado and veggie sandwich.

They served me a beef burger saying it was a veggie burger (I’m vegetarian). I found out it wasn’t a veggie burger after trying it - when I told them they didn’t offer any apologies. THEN they brought me a fully undercooked beyond meat burger with oily undercooked fries. And the waiters are no where to be seen. Don’t come here if you care about good food or good service.

Slow service, overcooked poached eggs, not fresh bread and greens. Sadly, some places lowered their standards during pandemic. I was here when they just opened - it was much better. I hope you guys will survive 🙏🏻

Nice brunch spot good drinks. But serving of the food is on the smaller side. So if you eat a lot order more food. Staff very friendly, quick service and follows COVID protocols. Also kid friendly. Also bottomless drinks are only for an hour.

This was an amazing experience! Food was amazing. We got the short rib Bolognese and the bbq breakfast bowl. The bolognese was amazing the pasta have the right amount of sauce it wasn’t dry at all the short rib was very tender and melts in your mouth. It is recommended to be partnered up with their garlic bread and it completed the dish! My boyfriend got the bbq breakfast bowl and it was amazing the pork was tender it has a separate flavor but mixed in well with the rest of the bowl. The service was great! The hospitality of the waiters was outstanding and I couldn’t wait to go back!!! Mimosas was good as well.
