Iconic. Hiked to have a lovely lunch outside at this upscale chalet in the middle of the Alps. Classy, fresh, and delicious. We shared a salad, vegetable burger, ravioli, and an extravagant dessert sampler. Note that we did not have a reservation, although we did arrive at their opening and had no problem being seated. By the time we were leaving all of the seating was full. So good.

My Rösti was simply amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant was as always great. The service was very friendly. It would have been nice if it was a bit faster though. Furthermore, it would be great if there could be a bit more variety regarding vegan dishes, since there was only one that my friend could pick.

Such an amazing place! Everything was 10/10! The food, drinks, service, and views. This is a must do, when visiting Zermatt!! There is a 20-30 minute walk downhill (wear the proper shoes) and when you leave you can walk back up or take a beautiful walk (1hr-1.5) down the mountain which is definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

This resto exceeded our expectations! Food was scrumptiously delicious and great value for money. We had the truffle pizza, lamb shank and the famous burger, and we were all happily satisfied. We had beer and some spritz to complete our meal. Ambiance was perfect as you get to see Matterhorn while dining. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. A can’t say anymore. You really need to eat in this place to see the difference!

A truly special place. The ambiance, decor, and staff make the meal very special. But it is the food and the view of the Matterhorn that make it an exceptional experience. The menu is creative and hearty. Lovely curated drink/wine menu as well. We loved hiking to it and back down to Zermatt after.

This was a fantastic experience! Our walk down the hill took us about 30 mins. Once we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly hostess who very kindly accommodated my party of 4 although I had mistakenly booked for the next day. Our server, Rafaela, was so incredibly kind and helpful. We ordered the Bloody Mary Tomato Soup and their Customer favorite hamburger with cheese. It was delicious!!! We sat outside on their patio and took in the breathtaking views. In the end we had the honor of meeting Vrony and even took a picture with her!!!
