On the Grid : Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grille

"This is one of the cleanest and freshest fish markets in Miami. The attached restaurant serves-up its catches to a long, beautiful row of covered waterfront seating. You can keep it casual with fish croquetas and a mojito, or go for a more romantic experience and share some of their larger and more expensive dishes with friends and family." - Hernan Bas & Pete Rozek

Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grill - Review - Downtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"Casablanca is a seafood restaurant right on the Miami River. The seafood is decent (though not as good as its neighbor, Garcia’s), but they have a lot of tables with a pretty waterfront view. Casablanca does the job for Happy Hour too if your main priority is to eat by the water. Just know that the oysters, clams, and fish are going to be about 60% better next door. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Ryan Pfeffer

First time here. I was very pleased that the hostess was able to sit us quickly. Also our waitress was on point cking on me and my party were ok Ambiance amazing, Miami's view sells the restaurant. In the other hand food needs to be consistance. Im sure they cook fast and good, but to get to the table not. Because food came warm or cold as happened to mine But they are able to fix it quickly

I waited 20 minutes to be greeted by a server that I had to flag down. Mediocre, smoking sangrias. (Why?) I asked for a paella with only fish and it was more onions and peppers than any thing else. I asked for the bill and I payed with my card, a miserable 140 with tip included and the server had the audacity and to tell me I didn’t have enough funds on my card and told me I still owed her $12. There was definitely enough funds in my card because it went through for $153.59 exactly! I checked my account in front of her and showed the server it went through and she still questioned it! I asked for a manager and she said she was a. Manager. I told her to go get the manager and she finally got him and he said it happens sometimes! I EAT OUT EVERY SINGLE DAY AND IM A 4o year old woman and I have never been so insulted! And let me emphasize I have worked in plenty of restaurants bartending and server and have never seen that either. I gave her an extra 9 percent tip on the machine on top of the gratuity already included and I was going to leave her more cash. I’m an excellent tipper even if they don’t deserve it and I feel robbed today. Don’t try to steal from me when I was going to leave it as tip any ways! Mind you tip was included. I’m a regular guest at Casablanca and the service and food have slowly gone downhill hence why it’s always slow when I go now. I will not be returning, enough is enough! There’s so much competition in Miami why waste my time! Server SAMARA told me I should be receiving that money back. Again, it’s not about the money, it’s about the principle! 5 tables in the whole restaurant and 20 minutes to be greeted. Ridiculous. I’m such a giving person that I feel insulted by the theft that occurred. I’m posting pictures. Gabriel Garcia gm said he would compensate but we will see. In 40 years eating out this is the most ridiculous service I have ever received! Pay with cash if you must go here but stay away the food is mediocre any ways. Casablanca is not the same!

Atmosphere is great. Seating outside is recommended. With seating on the water, it is a great view whether you go during dalylight or the evening. My husband loved the ambiance because he feels a view of the water is always like a holiday. Service was also good. Our server came and checked in on us several times. Food was good. Prices are reasonqble for Miami. A good selection of seafood. And a few selection of none seafood items. Alot of lobster items on the menu (which isn't great since i have a severe lobster allergy and not as severe shellfish allergy...but i was fine.) We asked before ordering about the frier and stock used. We enjoyed the conch fritters as well as the paella (for 1). The beef dish wasn't as impressive. (lomo saltido - didnt realize it would be a beef stir fry). I wouldn't order agian. But the place has a great selection of so much more. For drinks we ordered a very reasonable bottle of NZ savigan blanc. A service charge of 18% is added to the bill. Will definately be returning to this restaurant again!

Everything from start to finish was amazing about Casa Blanca. We were greeted by our host and led directly to our table. We got a seat right on the water and it was absolutely beautiful. Victor our server and everyone else at the restaurant made sure that our water glasses were full and were completely taken care of from the moment we were seated. And the food. Amazing. Can't talk enough about the food. It was absolutely phenomenal and I can't wait to recommend this place to everyone. We left full and happy and it was worth every penny. I would come back here again. 10/10 for the service, food and atmosphere. Absolutely phenomenal.

We came to bring my mom for her birthday to this restaurant by the Miami River. The food is really good! The calamari were delicious, and the seafood pasta was amazing too. I wouldn’t recommend the octopus, though — it’s quite small and the sauce on top takes away the real flavor of the octopus. Other than that, definitely a place worth visiting!

Casablanca Seafood on the Miami River was a fantastic experience! The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the seafood—clearly top quality. Service was attentive and friendly, and the view overlooking the river added a special touch to the whole evening. We especially loved the unique dessert presentation, where they rolled out a cart with the full selection on display—hard to say no! The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for a Miami night out. Highly recommend!

Excellent seafood spot on the river. Came here with a buddy for casual dinner and both of us really loved the food and atmosphere. It has a bit of an old school vibe that’s increasingly hard to find in Miami. Great views and a nice happy hour. The service was especially friendly and on point. I wish I got the waitresses name. She was great.

Casablanca on the River is an absolute gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and every bite feels like quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, paired with stunning views that make the experience even more special. Between the amazing food, the great vibes, and the beautiful setting, what more could you ask for? Definitely a must visit spot!
