"Casablanca is a seafood restaurant right on the Miami River. The seafood is decent (though not as good as its neighbor, Garcia’s), but they have a lot of tables with a pretty waterfront view. Meh. Not blown away. Great spot for people watching as the boats go by outside, but that's pretty much it. Food was pedestrian and severely under seasoned. Veggies were close to raw, "grilled octopus" appetizer took literally 90 seconds after ordering to arrive at the table, not a good sign...the highlight was dessert which consisted of a brownie, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce, if that is indicative of the experience. Service staff was very nice, but $200 can be spent much better elsewhere in the area.

I recently dined at Casablanca Seafood Bar and Grill and had a wonderful experience. The seafood was fresh and expertly prepared, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Casablanca. We ordered shrimp, scampi, and mahi-mahi. The food was good, but we like our food to have a little more flavor and spice. We love sitting beside the river and watching the boats go by. That was happy and laid-back. Shout out to Sammy and Abel. Sammy was a great waitress who juggled a lot of things and was always cheerful and kind. Abel was so attentive, removing our dishes as soon as we finished. He kept the table clean and was always on the go helping anyone around him who needed help. I was impressed with his work ethic. We highly recommend Casablanca for a easy fun night out by the river.

I recommend the shrimp bruschetta as an appetizer… delicious 😋 We did call ahead for a reservation because we needed to dock a yacht. The staff was very accommodating and they were waiting to assist us with disembarking when we arrived. Great service and food!!! I recommend for a brunch stop while I’m out on the water.

We went for happy hour and sat at the bar. The bartender was fantastic and def knows how to pour a drink. Yet, he disappeared for over 15 mins when we wanted to leave. The mahi fish sandwich is basically a tapas dish, and does not deserve the title of a sandwich. Super small and I finished it in 4 bites. It also had very little seasoning. I arose from the bar and asked a male manager to cash us out. Then is when we had to deal with a very distasteful female of higher authority than the manager. She looked like she ate 5 lemons for lunch. Sour puss. Negative and nasty. So if you read this, know that you should not be in the service industry, if that is how you choose to act. I was happy to tell her that her inability to smile and act so nasty was a joke to us. We laughed at her. She's pathetic! If you go next door then maybe you will be treated in an appropriate manner.

Made reservations for waterfront seating.... once we arrived, the hostess didn't own up to rsvp. She stated as long as we could see the water that was considered waterfront. None the less food was great although some menu items were too salty or too sweet. Portions were good, drinks weren't the best, view wasn't the best as sunset was in full throttle, the sun bothered our sight and blinded us... restaurant had blind down. The seating is cramped, so you can hear your next table people's conversations.

My first impression upon entering wasn’t good, the Hostess wasn’t nice and the restaurant atmosphere was dark at 2:00 pm, it also smelled a lot like fish. Afterwards everything improved, the service was truly excellent, my waitress was always polite and attentive, also she answered my questions. As an appetizer I ordered fried calamari, it didn't taste bad, but it was too greasy. The white wine sangria was without a doubt the best part of the experience. The Tuna Tartar barely had any wontons and the teriyaki sauce didn't have a good flavor. My brother ordered the risoto and my mom choose the fried fish, they both really enjoyed it, so I assume their dishes were better than mine. The restaurant is a bit expensive to be honest. Oh by the way the warm brownie was delicious.
